We were made very welcome by Jason and his team who are all super friendly, we had drinks in the bar frequented by locals who were all easy to chat with. Our room was spotless and comfortable we slept very well for the two nights we were there, we were extremely comfortable and cozy. The Thai food is exceptional, reallly authentic home cooked from scratch by their Thai chef, it really was delicious. We would highly recommend staying here the staff are great, rooms are very clean and well equipped, free parking and an excellent restaurant. We will make this our go to place for our frequent trips to Oxford. Thanks for a very pleasant stay Jason and staff ?

Weve had the most wonderful holiday. Sarah has looked after us fantastic and been very understanding and welcoming. The accommodation is perfectly suited for anyone with disabilities and a true pleasure to stay in. When we arrived we was greeted with fresh bread and eggs from the chickens. The location is nice and rural with very close proximity to the major supermarkets in the nearby Newport. Thank you again to sarah for what a marvellous job she does. We cant wait to come back next year Matt Voyage Care

Nestled in the South Downs National Park amid the rolling hills of the Meon Valley lies one of Hampshire's best kept secrets. Six authentic Mongolian yurts and six traditionally-built shepherd's huts provide all the excitement of outdoor living with all the luxury of indoor comforts. The yurts are perfect for families looking for a glamping holiday in the Hampshire countryside each equipped with a wood burning stove, electric lights and power points for your creature comforts. Our four cosy shepherd's huts, located alongside our fishing lakes at Meon Springs Fly Fishery, are perfect for couples, anglers or individuals looking for a rural retreat.
We had the best weekend as a family of 10 (aged from 28 to 80) celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday. We stayed in the Shepherds Huts, close by the fishing lakes and had a glorious three days, including a half day trout fishing tuition and a half day clay pigeon shooting. Greg (the manager) is very approachable and made sure the weekend suited our needs as (mostly) novices. We caught 8 enormous trout which fed us over two days with plenty of leftovers to take home! Thanks to instructors, Keith, Mark and Graham for your patience and expertise in teaching us. Followed the circular walk incorporating the South Downs Way, to East Meon, and the Izaac Walton pub on Sunday, which we’d also recommend. Excellent time had by all.

This was a perfect course in a lovely environment with delicious lunch and snacks. We came away filled with enthusiasm for baking fired by Les and a car filled with the wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread. We so enjoyed meeting our fellow bakers and the lovely team at The Artisan Bakehouse. It was really a special day and the perfect way to mark my sister’s birthday.

Sopley Lake Yurt Camp has been the leading UK glamping destination since opening in 2011. Five yurts on four sites, all beautifully decorated with furnishings from North Africa across Asia to the Far East. The yurts are incredibly cosy and warm up in no time once the wood burner is lit on the coldest of nights. Each yurt has private facilities from a hot shower, flushing loo, BBQ area, camp fire and fully equipped cooking station. The location is perfect (Pubs within walking distance), lakeside views abundant with wild fowl and fish, close to the New Forest National Park (cycling, horse-riding, pubs) and the beaches near Bournemouth and Christchurch. Surrounded by PYO fields (seasonal fruit and veg available) and fresh farm produce delivered to your yurt fridge for your arrival. All part of our dedicated service and desire to give you the best glamping experience possible.
We have just returned from a belated Christmas gift from my partner. It was lovely to get away for a couple of night. Beds we're comfy, yurt and showers clean. Very peaceful with the birds and owl. Easy walking distance to 3 pubs. Took our 2 dogs, so very dog friendly which is a must for us.

This is our last night at Beech cottage after 16 nights . Been here whilst we wait to move to our new home and what a delight it has been. Although we are local to Ox10 we just didn’t know what the area offers from the local pub , walks and views etc The cottage has 2 beautiful kingsize bedrooms , 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs with en-suite all beautifully decorated . The kitchen is fully equipped with essentials as in dishwasher and washer dryer , and all home from home needs . Marlene is so welcoming just as her dog Rosie … thoroughly recommend short or long stays plenty to see in the surrounding area , thanks again

We stayed in the beautiful carriage house for 2 nights over the early May Bank Holiday weekend and could not recommend it more. The location is fantastic - everything on the island is in easy reach, the farm is just a stone's throw out of Newport, but feels completely remote, and the views are magnificent. The accommodation is wonderful - comfy beds, plenty of space, and so many lovely touches - we adored the flowers, cake and prosecco that awaited us on arrival! Sally and Edwin were so kind and let our children help with the morning feeding round - lambs, ponies, chickens, pigs and goats on their doorstep made our little ones so happy. We cannot wait to return - for the perfect family holiday stay on the IOW, look no further!

Midgham Farm was the 2016 Prima Baby award-winning Feather Down representative. Its woodland has been in the family since 1790, and today on the farm, ponies live alongside pigs and piglets, alpacas, 3 goats, 2 bunnies, and lambs. Pony grooming is a great activity for horse-loving youngsters, and can be booked with the farmer on arrival. Children will also love the rope swings and climbing ropes plus all the sand pits with sit-on diggers. Just a 15 minute walk away, a long stretch of the River Avon is reserved for guests booking fly fishing (15 April to 30 Sept) or coarse fishing (15 June to 15 March), which can be arranged on the farm. The river is also a wonderful place to swim or paddle. Relax at tents or log cabins spread out on the forest floor, with hammocks between the trees and lots of light coming through the canopy. For the energetic, there’s archery and axe throwing available across the wood.
We had a lovely 4 day stay with our 2 young children who absolutely adored it! From the chickens to the ponies, to the goats - all lovely fresh air outdoors fun. I felt sorry for the chickens with my son constantly furking around for eggs under their bottoms - despite the fact we have our own chickens so it was hardly a novelty! Being in the woods, the tents are very dark - you are given oil lamps and candles which help, but we should have brought some battery operated night lights for when the children woke in the night. A lovely, safe, base - we didn't feel we had to constantly watch the children as long as they were in earshot. Sammy and her family were kind and welcoming

Sunninglye Farm is nestled on the Kent / Sussex border among the rolling hills of the High Weald, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s just 27 miles from the M25 and only 40 minutes from the coast. Surrounded by woodland on all but one side, Sunninglye has seven Feather Down tents within a shady hilltop copse. Each tent faces outwards with views across the surrounding fields and woodland, ideal for a glamping family holiday in Kent. Visitors are always pleasantly surprised by the peacefulness of the setting, and younger children are free to climb and swing and play safely among the trees near the tent. The older ones might like to explore the farm while attempting to conquer the Sunninglye Challenge, a farm trail which combines fun with education and will occupy them for a good couple of hours.
Wonderful setting...cosy tents...roaring campfire... if you can’t relax in this place you’re beyond therapeutic help.. second time my family have been lucky enough to stay and it has always exceeded expectations. Excellent hosts who go out of their way to make you welcome and comfortable.. animals friendly, especially Norman and Nutmeg... brilliant fun to be had at the boating pond...lots of food options to be purchased like bbq and breakfast packs. A perfect place to stay, we love it.
