My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time after a somewhat stressful start. The hotel was locked when we arrived. It took some time to contact the owner who was in an area not well serviced by mobile phone. The owners nor staff did not speak any English (but why should they). Rooms are small but well appointed and could best be described as having quirky decor. I think we booked during an off season as breakfast was not available except for our last day (Saturday). After contacting the owner by phone a nearby staff member provided access to the hotel. Our host, when he arrived, worked hard to ensure our stay was enjoyable and indeed it was despite the language difficulty. Free breakfast on our last day was beautifully cooked and served. Not for 5 star travelers but recommended for slightly adventurous folk.

A lively little hotel in a gorgeous village. Our room was off a little courtyard, not a bad size with a big bathroom with massive walk in shower. Bed was a little hard for my liking, pillow, hard and fat, but this is personal. TV, and wonderful working air conditioner. A table and chairs would be a nice touch in the courtyard. Parking is available if you drive past the hotel to the end of the street, and parking thru the castle gates is probably best and it’s free. Our navigator took us to the back of the hotel so watch for that, the street is accessed from the square on a one way system. Perfect location stones throw from everything just a note proprietors speak no English, as does most of the village. Would definitely stay again.

On March 9, 1995 I started an ambitious cultural tourism project, opening the doors of the Casa de la Torre, a historic building from the 16th century, to its first guests. It was the first Hospedería de La Mancha, with a vocation that from the beginning was to give hospitality to passionate Don Quixotes travelers from all over the world. Along with the accommodation, the Casa de la Torre has developed a wide variety of cultural activities, from book presentations, painting and sculpture exhibitions, conferences, radio and television programs, courses, to family reunions and gatherings, with an exceptional response for the architecture and warm atmosphere, deeply rooted in the culture of the territory. Traditional cuisine is another piece of the experience that marks the style of this place. From the food of Don Quixote, through the evolution of the tastes and flavors of La Mancha to the present day. If what you are looking for is a different and traditional space, we invite you to contact us!
Isabel and Rachele are marvelous! They made my stay extra special and the breakfast Antonio prepared was by far the best I had in all of Spain, even my husband said so ( I need that tomato paste with olive oil recipe- so simple yet so flavorful). The ladies were truly wonderful, words can not express my deep felt gratitude for them. I got a great tour of Cervates' Don Quixote's reading as they pertained to his lady love, Dulcinea, on the eve of my birthday! This place is where you need to come for a trip to El Toboso!!! Everything from the location, to the lovely rooms and the house itself is beyond words- magical. Highly recommend for friendliness, cleanliness, staff suggestions, and overall atmosphere, you won't regret it. I will definitely return!

Our stay in the bungalow was exactly what we were looking for. Relax, nature and a really nice countryside to go for a walk or to play with my kid. Onorio (owner) made our stay so nice and he was really helpful. Really recommend it!

This beautiful property is set in the village of Buenaventura, in the province of Toledo. It offers free Wi-Fi and great views from its lovely swimming pool. The Rincon de la Fuente serves delicious homemade cuisine in its restaurant. There is a spacious and quiet garden. The Rincon de la Fuente is surrounded by oak and olive trees. It is an ideal location for exploring the countryside, with many walking and horse-riding routes nearby. The Gredos Mountains are within a short drive, and there is free parking on site. All rooms have elegant design, with natural materials such as antique wood. They each include a balcony, and air conditioning is available for an extra cos
If you want to taste authentic Spanish hospitality then this is the Case Rurale to stay in. Wonderful welcome, great, fresh cooking and a feeling of a family atmosphere make this place a real home from home. Lovely walks in the surrounding countryside, but not much else to do in the village.

We stopped by oropesa for 1 night to break a Lagos-Madrid trip. It was a fantastic choice! Oropesa is a very nice place, medieval style with walls and a castle. We stayed at casa rural infante. We booked through booking and when we arrived they weren't expecting us (it was stated that a computer error occurred). Nevertheless the staff was very helpful and immediately said there wasn't a problem and handled the check in right away and provided us with 2 rooms. You can tell something is good when you are not expected but everything is in order. All was clean and in place. The only thing to improve: the rooms were so hot that had to sleep with the air conditioning on for the entire night.

We had a fantastic week-end, its an amazing Spanish country house in a wonderful location. The hotel is very nicely decorated, feels like a noble country estate with excellent service. You feel like at home since there are few rooms, lunch and dinner is home made and healthy. We tried the horses and had long walks. All perfect, if anything the nearby village is not nice but had enough reasons to stay in the hotel.

Beautifull and quiet, for those who are looking for silence. There is almost nothing in the village, a few restaurants who are not good. You can't bring anything to eat or drink at the property, there is no fridge in the room. The breakfast is simple, every day the same. The property is very clean.
