Super welcoming and professional service run by the family who owns the property. Great Art displayed. Rooms vary from very roomy with balcony to smaller ones (but pleasantly air-conditioned). Great views to the castle and nearby hills. Breakfast is Italian style so don't expect eggs, but expect delicious croissants and friendliness theoughout. Little hares jump around the garden at night. Place is also politely dog-friendly, a big plus for me. Don't miss their degustation dinner!

Very nice and quiet area, ideally for a relaxing break. Clean rooms, very nice staff, good breakfast in nice ambience (especially when sitting outside). No pool. No restaurants close to the location, you need to drive some kilometers.

We recently stayed one night at Cascina Marcantonio. The agritourismo is literally in the middle of the vineyards overlooking the rolling hills. Very beautiful. Rooms are simple, well appointed , and very comfortable. We also dined at the restaurant located on property. If you stay at Cascina Marcantonio, do NOT miss having at least one dinner there. It was simply amazing. We started with an assortment of regional cured meats and cheeses. Second course was an incredible barbera infused risotto. My main course was a veal masala that was as good as I've ever had. House wine by the liter is amazingly good and inexpensive. Check-in was a bit challenging as English was in very short supply, however my limited Italian was sufficient and actually made the whole experience really feel like you're visiting an Italian relative. If you're looking for an authentic, rustic Italian experience, you should give Cascina Marcantonio a try.

The recently constructed structure, however, was built with vintage materials on a Monferrato hill between two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Langhe, Roero and Monferrato's wine landscapes and the Sacro Monte di Crea, a large park with animals, absolute relaxation and silence, large pool with panoramic terrace. Comfortable and over-equipped rooms with magnificent views over the hills. Monferrine kitchen and own production. At Monferrato Resort you can enjoy typical Monferrato cuisine with a zero-kilometer supply chain (our vegetable garden covers one hectare), accompanied by a selected wine list. Almost all the vegetables are produced by us (the vegetable garden is visible when entering on the left) as well as part of the fruit and a good Barbera from the agriturismo's vineyard. For some years we have been producing 5 different types of digestive, vegetables in oil and wine vinegar. The chef is always at your disposal for interviews and clarifications. Also fresh pasta is available.
My best friend got married in this resort, we really enjoyed our stay! The resort is placed in a really nice and quiet area and the personnel is excellent, always really nice and helpful. The room was wonderful! Really spacious and clean, all windows had the mosquito net and the venue for the wedding was lovely. The best part was the breakfast! Roberta prepared for us nice cakes and a range of cheeses and cold-meats every day. Best cappucino! The food they served during the wedding was delicious and really fresh! Highly recommended!

La Traversina is a country house of 1700, immersed in a forest of chestnut and oak trees, the fragrant garden of roses, honeysuckle and lavender, offer an unforgettable sight, as are the unforgettable summer nights lit by the glow of fireflies. Rosanna, Domenico, a "rasta" dogs and 5 cats welcome guests like old friends, offering relaxation and good food.
We stopped here after flying into Milan airport (drive about 1.5 hours south). Not easy to find, but there are signs (get there before dark). Lovely old home and lands with great views even up to the Alps on a clear day. Very welcoming family. Be sure to be there on a night when they cook dinner. Excellent and very reasonable. Not a lot of other dining choices in the immediate area. If you want a fancy hotel with lots of amenities - not for you. If you want an authentic experience with an Italian family, this is for you. They get a lot of repeat visitors.

A family and friendly atmosphere will welcome you at the cascina trapella ,a lovely small organic farmhouse immerse in the green monferrato hills . The restaurant can host about 30 people and they serve simple lovely seasonal dishes using their organic products.
We stopped at this delightful B&B on our drive from Uk to Tuscany, having pre booked it on line as it just happened to be the right distance to drive to that day! We loved it and before we left booked again for our drive home. It is a working farm, with 4 guest rooms set a few meters away from the farm house. The rooms are clean and all have a slower, toilet, cupboards, places to hang clothes and a little communal veranda. It is set back from a quiet village and the sounds you hear are mainly church bells and an occasional donkey or dog. We ate in the farmhouse with the family for our evening meal....and what a delicious meal it was! Local produce, fresh, tasty, very well cooked and washed down with good local wine. We really didn't want to leave, our hosts were warm and friendly and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. My husband is not known for being adventurous with his eating! But loved all the food and couldn't praise our hostess enough! Particular favourites were the home made ice creams and the pasta or eggplant dishes. If we travel to Italy again we will definitely make sure that we return to this lovely family run B&B....we can't thank them enough for helping to make our holiday a very special one.

Casa Wallace spans an area of fourteen hectares, six of which are devoted to biodynamic viticulture. The Casa Wallace vineyards produce traditional Monferrato wines. Guests will have a tour of the wine cellar and a chance to taste brand new wines that have yet to be bottled. To complete the tour, guests will taste a variety of our wines on the market. People can stop by anytime after 4pm for wine tasting. The organic B&B has a wonderful family atmosphere. All guests can use the well-equipped communal kitchen after the breakfast is finished. Breakfast is from 8:30 to 10:30 each day and includes a wide variety of juices, freshly baked bread and cakes or muffins. A variety of fresh fruit is served as is home made yoghurt and granola. We also have organic corn flakes and fair trade coffee and teas. We are fully prepared to serve vegetarians and vegans as well as those who require special diets (lactose intolerant and celiac). Each room is simply and elegantly decorated. You can wash your hair with organic Millet and Rosemary shampoo and shower with Marseille soap with Olive Oil and citrus essential oil. Our Eco Spa hand soap is made with white nettles. Each is contained in dispensers to help us avoid the plastic waste of small portion toiletries. Our new towels will caress you in nature. If you've ever had a softer towel a bottle of wine is on us! They are Italian made and composed of 75% wood flakes! If you are looking for a large LED screen TV in your room, Casa Wallace is not for you. Rather, we have created a welcoming place with high positive energy to give guests the chance to relax and unwind with friends or family. We do however have wifi.
The most beautiful scenery and grounds you can imagine. So chilled and relaxing from the second you arrive. So much to do. Highly recommend wine tasting. The pool is perfect. The whole team of staff were great. The breakfasts are AMAZING!!!! Fresh and homemade, different things everyday and served with a smile. A truly relaxing and great vacation. Mattress was a little bit hard for us and room with no air con was tough but we still enjoyed it very much and are looking forward to coming back.
