We spent a wonderful 2 days in the lovely Amish countryside, surrounded by beautiful farms and silos, and chose to stay at Rayba Acres Farm. Rayba has 6 rooms which have separate entrances from her house, and they are spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a first floor King bedroom with fabulous air conditioning, and a memory foam bed, and sooo quiet! Not more than 10-15 min from many good places, markets, Sight and Sound, Railway, Buffets. Good strong WiFi. Fridge/microwave in rooms, and a separate common area with sofa, lounge chairs, big fridge. It is not a bed and breakfast. Bring your own shampoo. Delightful pond with lilypads, barn kitties and gazebo outside rooms, pasture with cows and donkeys. Was peaceful and perfect for us. Would stay there again. Heads up: most restaurants close at 7pm in those parts, so don't wait! Convenience charge for credit cards on checkin.

A bed and breakfast inn located in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. This working farm has a little bit of everything that will delight both couples and families with children of all ages. You can choose between traditional B&B guest rooms with private bath and hearty breakfast or family suites with a kitchen. Seasonal rates are: $110.00 a couple per night. $15.00 per child, children under 1 year old are free.
Just got home from a really nice weekend at the Olde Fogie Farm B&B. If your looking for a true farm B&B getaway this is the place. Its like staying at Your grandparents farm, lots of fun, hearty breakfast food, great conversation. Nothing is off limits just ask and be considerate that its there home. There was 3 families including mine, 6 kids total and all had a lot of fun, it rained and no one cared. Horses, goats, pigs, chickens, Rabbits, and a surely Lama. There are bars and restaurants close by Just do a little research. Bring your wellies and relax, remember this is a working family farm.

My daughter and I took a two hour ride with Morgan as our guide. We've ridden a lot in Gatlinburg and I can honestly say this experience was light years beyond that. First, the horses were lively and spirited. Our guide had them saddled and ready for us when we arrived. There was no lollygagging and constant spurring needed to keep up. Secondly the trails through the woods were lightly used and the scenery was incredible. We rode a ways down through a stream and to the river. Just beautiful. We got back and had dinner in the restaurant, the food was good. We didn't try the hot stone steak, just finger foods.

Come ride the open trails, relax in the meadows, hike the hills and valleys or bike the scenic country roads. When your day is done, stay in our farmhouse and soak in the serenity of country living. The majestic and magical landscape of the Laurel Highlands provides the perfect back drop for a stay at the farm.
This place is like a piece of heaven. Surprised my girlfriend with a overnight birthday trip and we were both VERY impressed with the service and the property. The folks who take care of the horses were there when we arrived and helped show us around. Darlene took care of our breakfast and made an amazing (and abundant!) meal!

Our 175 acre farm is remote yet very accessible. Open year round. Eight cottages are available. Home to a variety of domesticated and wild animals. Guests are invited to help with barn chores twice a day or just relax by the pond or on the cottage porch.
Amazing place. Really peaceful. Sally the owner is the nicest person ever. The houses are beautiful and spacious but full of insects. There are bugs everywhere...cockroaches.. huge flies and also bees!!!! Which is sad. This place would have been heaven on earth if the owners took care of that. The houses need to be cleaned and sprayed to get rid of all the insects. I understand that it's a farm but no guests should be staying in an infested place. Especially that it's not cheap it's for almost $150 a night.

Been going to Buehler's for about 35 years every Memorial weekend. The food that Mark and Mary cook has gotten better over the last 15 years they have really improved the place but small and cozy great place to have a family weekend Gathering.

My wife and I stayed in cabin #2 and we enjoyed our 5 day/4 night stay. Positives: It came equipped with pretty much everything we needed to cook our own meals as well as bed sheets and towels. It was clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit hard but the sheets were very comfortable. They sell bundles of firewood for $9 but you can go down the road and pay $3-5. It's worth the extra money because they deliver it to your site. Negatives: We didn't like having to go to the resort store in order to exchange our used towels for new towels. Also, the cabin is a bit "buggy" along the walls but this is to be expected because it's in the middle of the woods. We also didn't like how far away the resort was Raystown Lake. The pool was smaller than we expected and the water was very cold. We enjoyed our stay but due to the distance from the lake we wouldn't stay again.

I can't remember when I've (we've) had such an incredibly peaceful time. The hosts are gracious and obtrusive. The Gruber Homestead Cabin is impeccably clean and cozy. The bed is firm but comfortable. Many simple but sustainable items for breakfast so you don't have leave your cabin. How wonderful to read a book or enjoy sunrise over the ridge on the front porch in a rocking chair with the company of donkeys and horses. Close to nearby historic attractions and just enjoy the tranquility. Oh....yes....they have Wifi, air-conditioning and central heat.

This dairy farm offers inexpensive accommodations and is close to other rural attractions.
Was a decent price, but the accommodations were not that great, bugs in cabin, very hot, only 1 window a/c that was poor, very nice people but cabin was very outdated. Other than that the area was great and we had a good time.

I visited this venue for a wedding recently. The farm is nicely done. Easy access to the hall. Typical barn type decor. Except the cob webs hanging from the ceiling everywhere. It's a smallish place so dont plan on a big wedding.
