Woven with wild greenery and Gaelic legends, the Emerald Isle is one of Europe’s most prized jewels. Rugged Atlantic beaches and mystery-shrouded sites rub shoulders with the cosmopolitan cities of Belfast and Dublin, where literary history and warm Irish hospitality are always in abundance.

Award winning Burren Yoga Retreats offering weekend and week long yoga retreat holidays, all year round for complete beginners and advanced. Beautiful warm comfortable yoga centre with shared and single rooms in spectacular location of the Burren. Outdoor activities in the Burren hills and by the sea, amazing vegetarian food and a warm friendly informal atmosphere. Easy access by air, train, bus or car.
This was my first experience of this type of retreat and it definitely will not be my last. I was apprehensive about going alone but from the moment I left my shoes at the front door and entered the center I felt totally at ease. Dave and his team are very welcoming and the place is comfortable, spotlessly clean and the vegetarian food is delicious. The yoga studio has a wow factor with its large picturesque windows almost bringing the Burren Hills inside. Our yoga/mediation teacher for the weekend was Eleanor and she was amazing in every way. I met and befriended a lovely group of people and I have returned home feeling totally relaxed and renewed and I would return here without hesitation

We spent seven nights in this beautiful castle in south-central Ireland. Built in 1760, it’s situated on five acres near the picturesque Glen of Aberlow and the Galtee mountains. John and Theresa Russell, the hosts, have created en suites in each of the bedrooms, creating modern conveniences while retaining the antique charm. An unforgettable experience!

Staying at the cottages in March was an amazing experience for our entire family. My husband, teenage son and I were warmly greeted upon arrival by Dearbhaill and her daughter Eleanor. They shared stories about the area and the cottages. The cottages are absolutely storybook! It was so nice to hike during the day at Diamond Hill, then come back to the sweet cottage and build a fire, relax with a bottle of wine and reminisce about our fabulous day touring Ireland. The kitchen is adorable and updated. They had a basket of fresh eggs for us, butter, homemade lemon squares and brown Irish bread in the kitchen. Our stay here could not have been more special and enjoyable! If you stay at a hotel, it is nothing more than that! But when you stay at a very special historic place like Cnoc Suain cottages you learn more about the country of Ireland and the people. My son has been fortunate to travel around Europe at a young age and he gets so much out of our journeys when we have adventures that are unique. He has such a great appreciation for culture, history and architecture and staying at the cottages enriched the experience for him.

Macalla Farm (formerly Clare Island Retreat Centre) is a small, family run retreat centre and working organic farm situated on Clare Island off the west coast of Ireland. We are passionate about yoga, mindfulness, food and horses. The wide range of residential courses on offer for 2016 reflects our diverse interests and areas of expertise: yoga retreats which integrate a deep awareness of both body and mind, mindfulness and cooking retreats which explore our relationship to food as well as one-of-a-kind courses combining yoga and mindfulness with horsemanship.
Just back from a retreat, had such a nice experience from the amazing food, Ciaras lovely yoga classes and Christophe's meditation. I came away with more that my expectations. Everyone should experience one of these retreats if possible, getting there was painless, returning home with some lovely new practices and a yearning to go back when I can. Thank you Ciara and Christopher for a very memorable weekend and I hope to see ye again soon xx Sara

We stayed in a 3 bed villa. On arrival the villa was spotless. Very nice to see hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes included in a supply of cleaning products in the kitchen. Villa has everything you need for a family holiday loads of space for our family of 4 Only suggestion I would have is perhaps a power shower. Water flow in the existing showers is not great. We had chosen Carleton partly because of the wall garden, pool and playground. Sadly due to current restrictions these facilities were unavailable- we had been informed of this in advance and completely understood.

Beautiful, clean home. Had enough rooms and beds to house all 9 of us. Mary, the host, was the sweetest. She made sure to check in on us once we arrived and even suggested several places to visit that were nearby. Also suggested the best way to get to into Dublin on st Patrick’s day. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Ard Nahoo is a beautiful eco retreat centre in the Northwest of Ireland, voted one of the top ten retreats worldwide. You can rent a self catering Eco Cabin, perfect for families or couples looking to have a break away from it all. We have a smaller cabin perfect for those looking for an escape on their own. On site we offer treatments and we have a sauna and hot tub. We also hold weekly yoga classes and retreats throughout the year.
Such lovely owners. Beautiful location. Lodges were spotless with gorgeous local bread and eggs on arrival. And an extra little touch of a barley cake for my Father whose retirement we were celebrating as a family. Lodges were decorated with items sympathies to nature - sheepskin rugs, bamboo bowls and pellet stoves. The ground coffee supplied in the lodge was top class and we are big coffee drinkers. Comfortable beds. We also experienced the infrared sauna and hot tub and loved it. Would highly recommend to anyone.

2 Unique Holiday-homes close to the Medieval City of Kilkenny. The Gables in an restored 18th century fishing lodge that sleeps 5 people. Longbowe is state of the art new-build eco-friendly holidayhome that sleeps 6 people.
We (2 Grandparents, 2 parents and 2 Children) had a lovely week in Longbowe. The House is large and spacious with loads of room for a group of 6 people. It is situated just off a busy road but we didn't notice the sound of traffic at all. There are Supermarkets located reasonably close by and there is a lovely Canal Walk that takes you into the City Centre. Kevin the owner, called to the house on a couple of occasions with fresh eggs and was most helpful with any queries I had. Toby & Hector (the dogs) came to see us every day. We really enjoyed our stay and would have easily rated the house as Excellent and probably said it was the best Holiday Home we have stayed in if it wasn't for very loud Farm work close to the house, starting so early on a couple of mornings (before 6:45am on one morning) which woke the whole house. I'm sure the work was necessary for the owner but definitely took away from our whole experience. To sum up though, we would gladly stay in this house again.
