Reviewed By JayBeeCAThe staff are super friendly, and the rooms are clean and well decorated. The adjoining bathrooms and showers are spotless and well stocked. This place is a diamond in the rough. I'll be back! The restaurant downstairs is also really good too.

Reviewed By 646mrslOur friends booked a very nice room for us there just under the roof, it had a lot of space and suited good for a family with kids. One big room with double bed and one small room with two single beds, and a small but nice kitchen. In the morning we had a magnificent view from our window at the Säntis mountain. Wonderful pension with beautiful design outside and inside, tidy and cosy, very close to the center of Teufen, and its host is a very friendly person.

We are a small familiar Hostel in the centre of the Villagge Langwies. Lovely nature around guarantees that you can relax and enjoy your holiday. In winter you get the choice of two skiresorts close to us. In summer we got a lot of possibilities to hike or bike.

Reviewed By jeanclaude479The plus: I found by chance this hotel and I really felt happy by their welcoming and warmth. This is definitely a nice place to stay. The breakfast is traditional with good bread and others. Close to the main restaurant 2 min on foot. The minus: I had some problem to use the wifi though.

Mario’s special consisted of a deconstructed Black Forest cake along side a beef filet and creamy barley. Didn’t work for us so we simply deconstructed the dish and ate it as a main and dessert. Lambs liver was a bit over done for our personal taste.

Reviewed By rosisI6217SRSandra Is very obliging and Roland an excellent cook ?. The room we had was lovely, with a lot of attention to details. The room, toilets and showers were very tidy. The proximity to the ski lift Tschappina is a great advantage of the house. Well accessoble by car or by bus.

Reviewed By MatthewgburnsWhat a wonderful stay in Pensiun Aldier! A restored historic building the renovation is tasteful and stylish. Its charming, intimate, well maintained and clean. Also, Sent is one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland and that's saying a lot. For those leaving anything less than a 5* review I can only imagine that they may not understand how expensive switzerland is. Even a 4* hotel closer to st Moritz would be double the cost. One other standout is the food. Swiss food on the whole is not as good as Italy or even much in Austria. Not the case here, Eat dinner here, its fantastic. There is no where to go better for miles. Lastly, the general manager, Nadia, and the owner are wonderful, helpful hosts. This hotel is a true gem.

Reviewed By 21celialopezwe have spent a night, we are a couple. The room was cleaned, with the modern shower and a washbasin in it. The toilet was shared with the guests on the same floor and it was so clean and with plants. The house was really nice, traditional and in a good state. The terrace was very cosy, with the fridge for the guest, very practical. The most amazing thing was the breakfast, I give it 10 points!! The owner Elisa is a very kind person, she tries to help us with everything and she shows you very nice details. I'd recommend it! ; )

Margot and Jonathan, the new Management Team, are extremely kind, polite and went above and beyond to provide a truly memorable comfort stay. The food at the La Gouille is outstandingly delicious. We had the chef's special on our first evening, then we tried a mouthwatering giant burger which we had seen other guests enjoy the night before, to our delight as we enjoyed these fantastic meals made with fresh ingredients from the region. The portions are big. There is so much to choose from for breakfast. We had pancakes, crepes, eggs, bread, a brownie, hot chocolate and herbal tea. The meals are absolutely fantastic. The chef a master. The service provided by Margot and Jonathan, who run this beautiful hotel, is exceptionally wonderful. They provided a genuinely warm, friendly and professional hospitality that made us feel at home, relaxed, looked after, welcome and in the best place away from home. Thank you so very much! The rooms and facilities are good. Our bed was very comfortable and everything was clean and lovely. Only one small blemish, which is typical of most chalets, the walls are thin and some of the floor boards squeak. That said, the hotel is located at one of the last villages surrounded by the beautiful mountains and therefore it is quiet and guests and locals are respectful. For that one imperfection, La Gouille offers a lot more, far beyond expectations. La Gouille is located within walking distance to the famous Lac Bleu, beautiful mountain tops, skii locations among other wonderful expeditions and adventures. The local bus stops right outside La Gouille. We look forward to our next visit and we highly recommend La Gouille. Austin and Christelle
