Reviewed By lamontravelMy grandmother's family comes from this town in Bavaria. We have stayed at this pension several times in the past. We get to visit my family about once a decade. My mother knew Anita Fuchs. Staying here is like staying with family. The rooms are clean. We lucked out and got a 2 bedroom suite that was complete with a full kitchen, sitting area and bathroom. It was essentially an apartment-perfect for traveling with our college-bound daughter! We have stayed in other rooms before, and they have always been clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and is a typical German breakfast with selection of breads, cereal, deli meats and cheeses. There are juices and coffee or tea to drink. Dinner is excellent! It reminds me of homemade German food I grew up eating and now make myself. The owner said they are renovating the pension and adding a spa. I look forward to seeing the new addition during our next stay in the Mauth. I highly recommend Gasthof Pension Fuchs Anita!

Reviewed By keith_hawesHead to the end of the world, go about 4kms past it and you will find this place. It is right on the river with and really nice biergarden and some nice areas to walk. Passauer Helles is very acceptable and served cold. The highlight however is the trout, which is so fresh that I think it jumped onto the pan itself and is wonderful! It is worth the effort to find this place, if only for the trout.

Reviewed By ChrisKim22After 6 months on the road touring for NHK Japanese TV company & Criscrossing Europe this is our third & final visit to Pension Wagner on the way back to England. It's 4 miles from where our outside broadcast trucks are parked so a short taxi ride. Large, warm clean room, comfy bed with BBC world news on channel 128 so at least you can have it on in the background. Madam Wagner always welcomes you with big smiles.. Wi-Fi is very good, breakfast has a variety of items for every taste.. A resturant next door & a supermarket across the road.. Great value for money (cash only) have enjoyed every visit.. Would I stay again? Not for pleasure but if work headed me this way then 100% yes..

Reviewed By Alfred KDie Pension liegt etwas abseits von Eggenfelden. Das Haus ist relativ neu und das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Frühstück war nicht all zu üppig aber völlig ausreichend. Unschön war nur der Kreisverkehr in der Nähe, das hat den Wecker erspart.

Kaffee und Kaffeespezialitäten wie Cappuccino oder heißer Kakao sowie eine Auswahl an aromatischem Tee sind die beste Grundlage für einen Tag im Bayerischen Wald. Reviewed By Jelena JI had a wonderful stay at this property. The place was chic, modern and impeccably clean. It had wonderful views from the room and the lobby lounge area. If you are looking for a place to relax, this is the place. The hosts Stefan and Daniel were great and very personable. They made every effort to make me feel comfortable. I didn't speak German as I was visiting from Canada, but their English was great and they helped me navigate the town and translate when I needed help. Their breakfast was amazing every morning, personally made for me from a chosen list of gourmet items by me. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Coffee bar in the lobby was self-serve and had many options to chose from to start your day. The property is a short walk from the center of town, where you can find many cafes and stores.
