Stayed there for New Year's. Beautiful place, magnificent views overlooking the lake, tastefuly done, warm, pet friendly welcoming our Nichole. We fell in love with Ralou, the hotel's mascot... Excellent service and good food... We plan to revisit when the covid madness is over and we can mingle safely.

Theoxenia hotel in Andritsaina is certainly a hotel with great history. As you may have read it is old with antique furniture and it could remind you of The Shining . At this point I have to mention that I loved the movie so that comment is written with love. Walking down the aisles of the hotel you travel in time, think of how many people have stayed in these rooms and at what different times . We stayed for one night only (unfortunately, hope we could stay more) in a spacious three-bed room . It was clean and well cared for. The mattress was good and there were good quality bathroom amenities as well. The most amazing thing though was the view. As we opened the window we had a panoramic view of a forest of pines unlike anything I've seen in Greece before. It reminds you of Switzerland or Austria .It literally takes your breath away. The owner is well educated and kind, knowledgeable of the history of the hotel. Yes, it does need renovation in order to be safer, especially on the balcony but as I have been informed, it is already planned and on the way. I am very curious and eager to return and see the changes.

Apollo Beach Hotel is an integrated complex which has 24 apartments, free parking, outdoor pool, pool bar, restaurant and a beach bar which is just a few meters from the beach. The picturesque landscape of mountain and sea makes up for a calm and enjoyable stay and a unique destination for winter and summer.
Stayed for a week in August with my family. I have two little boys. The location was good (right on the sea) with its own beach & pool. Good restaurant to eat but a very poor breakfast that was in the price. Price very reasonable. Rooms spacious but need to be renovated and kept more clean. Very close to naupaktos and other major cities of the area.

I decided to try mark Warner ‘Club Week’ at Paleros what an error – don’t fall into the same disappointing trap. It was advertised with Sunday afternoon flights and an Adult only week. It was not. Within 24hrs of booking the flight had been changed to 6.50 meaning: An overnight stay in Gatwick, the loss of a day’s work The flight had kids on including a family with a small crying child behind me and a toddler that consistently kicked the back of my seat. On arrival my room was sub cleaned and had a worn feeling, including half used tea and coffee kit from another hotel and no teaspoons or milk, no slippers, no robe, no do not disturb door tag etc and a pair of single beds ! The fitness ‘pavilion’ was covered in black porous tiles that soaked in the rain and made any exercise a messy damp experience and all white t shirts ruined. The ‘entertainment’ was like something out of a student’s union, the welcome drinks evening was lacklustre and largely made up of queuing at the bar to buy your own welcome drink. The reception didn’t seem to have anything (even an adaptor to borrow on the day the ‘shop’ was shut). Food was fine but buffet style which given we are in peak COVID times seemed risky and unappealing and the restaurant was also inundated with kids running about so I ate in the local village more than I expected to. No room service, no a la carte. No water fountains or water on the table at dinner only single use plastic bottles available to buy. Rainy day, all gathered in the communal areas, kids screeching, bored staff playing video games without earphones, nowhere to relax or read in peace. Just other guests telling of their stories of gloom, lost luggage, lack of pick up from airport etc. There was a masseuse but not working from the spa (which was shut the whole time) but a temporary room near the main entrance with no curtain!? I had an automated response from MW customer service when I contacted them on my return and of course their social feeds have been pulled down since they failed to give anyone their deposits back when COVID hit and were inundated with negative comments. All in all a very disappointing first experience of Mark Warner and not at all what I had been expecting. I will not be returning and advise people to think carefully before making the same mistake.

Lovely hotel, with really kind and caring hosts. They gave us tips on a trek by the river and offered us great homemade breakfast, even if we woke up late for it. Ideal location with view towards the mountains. Extremely clean rooms and common areas. Highly recommended !

Fantastic hotel for its price. Simple hotel with no frills. Our room was spacious with a great sea view - we were privileged to see awesome sunsets from our balcony. Cleaning of the rooms (daily) and swimming pool is exemplary. The owners are very polite, helpful and very diligent regarding swimming pool rules and covid-19 precautions. Great surroundings with lawn, garden and trees that offer large areas of shade even during the hot hours of the day. The hotel is close to several very nice beaches in the area (Arkoudi, Kastro, Glyfa).Good wifi (we were able to watch Netflix for hours if we wanted in our room).

The building where the guesthouse Armakas is, was built in 2002 with respect to tradition and the natural landscape. The choice of materials and architecture have their roots in the past, in order to stimulate and form a new aesthetic culture and hospitality in the area. Just 50 meters from the main pedestrian street of the village and along a quiet road, combining tradition with modern comfort, rooms at the ARMAKAS guesthouse, can be your cottage year-round mountain retreat. Each accommodation place made entirely of stone and wood, fully operational, with prominent monk roof and imaginative lighting exude from the first moment a sense of intimacy and warmth.Escape from everyday life, taking the opportunity to treat yourself and your loved ones with unique moments in nature, relaxation and rejuvenation.
