At the Hotel San Marcos time goes at a different pace and feel at home is natural. There are perfect atmosphere spaces for relaxing, resting, reading or simply breathing history and art. The hotel is a 18th century canarian mansion, which has been carefully restored. Located in the historic center of Icod de los Vinos in the north of Tenerife. 150M from the hotel is the Millenary Dargon Tree and the shopping and leisure area. Rooms with spectacular views of the mountain Teide, the sea horizon and banana plantions. Because of this priviliged environment the hotel offers landscape and island life experience in a real canarian atmosphere.

Reviewed By CardorojoThis hotel has a great deal to recommend it. It's in a delightful old building that has been lovingly looked after, with shining woodwork everywhere and generously proportioned bedrooms (as well as extensive public rooms). However, it would be wrong to suggest that it's all old-fashioned: the TV was hi-spec and the wifi functioned very well. The breakfast too was excellent, with great choice. All in all, it probably the best of the four places we stayed in during a recent visit to Tenerife. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By JoannainGermanyReally beautiful, more traditional decorated room. Delicious food. Only drawback is the walls are so thin I had to hear everything in the rooms next to me, but since everything was quiet from 22:00-07:00, it was fine.

CASA LA MORINGA is in the historical center of the quiet village of Los Silos. The location is very convenient for hikers. This original Canarian House dates to the 18 th century and has been restored with great care and affection. The property is in the idyllic village of Los Silos, far away from any mass tourism. Rest assured that this village has no “swinging nightlife”. You will do your shopping in the same shops as the local people, and you will be on the beaches and in the restaurants amongst the locals. We rent out the ground floor, it has two bedrooms with double beds and each bedroom has its own private bathroom. From the "open" kitchen, with microwave oven, refrigerator, water kettle and coffee machine, you can enjoy the beautiful historical-listed patio. Enjoy beautiful Tenerife with its mild climate, the imposing nature, the pleasant beaches and feel at home and enjoy the peace and quiet at CASA LA MORINGA.
