Austria's lush heartland, is awash with verdant grass and rich vineyards. Trout fishing, hiking and mountain climbing are popular lures to stunning Styria. The region is also renowned as a culinary hotspot, as well as for its Reisling and Traminer. An emerging ski destination, dozens of ski schools have sprouted on its snowy flanks. State capital Graz is a university town, with a UNESCO-designated Old Town. Thermal resort town Bad Gleichenberg is another top area attraction.

Noi ci muovevamo in auto.

Friends took me to lunch at the Gasthof Leibenfelder. My friends seemed to know the staff and must eat there often. I had the schnitzel dinner. The schnitzel was huge and good. It was new to me to eat cranberry jelly with the schnitzel, but it was very good. I really liked the potato salad that was served with it. It was cold salad (which I like) and very flavorful. It was a nice atmosphere. Of course there are gorgeous views at almost every place in town. I would definitely visit again.

We booked two rooms for one night. In the description it said it would have Wi-Fi, but it did not in the rooms. The interior is clean but outdated. there are balconies with The rooms, but there are no chairs or whatsoever one them, so they are rather pointless. The employees are very friendly but a complaint about the Wi-Fi to the (I assume) owner, sparked a fierce discussion which was very unpleasant and which was only halfway solved.

The hotel is well located for hiking and has an information guide for trips in the surroundings. My room was comfortable. The restaurant is good. Above all: very friendly management and staff. I had the feeling of being home there. If I will visit this region of Austria in the future, I certainly will stay in Gasthof Klug zum Eherensepp.

Very good value for money - and being in the hotel business myself I know what I'm talking about. In fact we enjoyed ourselves so much here that I seriously wonder whether we were just lucky to arrive when we did ... A late afternoon in February, cold and wet, we pulled off the motorway wanting just a warm bed for the night, but what we got was our own apartment, excellent, professional, friendly staff and a warm water spa with indoor swimming pool all to ourselves - and all for just 96 euros. Breakfast is extra, but this was explained to us before we checked in so there were no hidden charges. I wish we could have found this level of amenity, service, friendliness and price throughout our two week, nine country voyage.

We are a middle aged couple who travelled to Schladming for a 1 week ski holiday with Crystal on half board (7th March 2020). We stayed in a double room with ensuite shower. The room and ensuite were spotless, I think this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. They were also cleaned daily and remained spotless the whole week with clean towels every day. The room is minimalistic but we like that, enough storage for the week, a small safe, hooks on the wall for skiwear were incredibly useful. Skis and boots were stored in a clean secure ski room on the ground floor. There was even a tap just outside to rinse off any dirt. Lots of choice at breakfast, fruit, salad, yoghurt, eggs, fresh bread, croissants, cheeses, hams, cereals, dried fruits, seeds, jams and 2 hot items daily, eg scrambled egg and bacon. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juices, water. Our half board option was just across the road at the sister hotel. 5 courses - buffet salad, starter, soup, main, dessert. Food was excellent, there was nothing I did not enjoy. You choose from the menu at breakfast. Financially it proved to be an excellent choice as I think we would have spent far more eating out every night. We had the same table every night and enjoyed the company of other guests . Cake and drinks are served for an hour at 3pm, homemade again and delicious. Bar drinks were reasonably priced too. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, going up to a ski lift, or alternatively into the town and the main gondola station. The buses are free with a ski pass. Alternatively where the snow cover is good, it is a 3 minute walk across the road and behind the sister hotel onto the piste (moderate red run, not for beginners). It was a bit muddy due to the warm weather so we opted for the bus as they run approx 3 times an hour. We had a fabulous holiday, the staff at the hotel were lovely and did everything to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would travel again with Crystal to the Landhaus Hubertus. Thank you !

We stayed 2 nights with our 2 kids in a guest room without balcony. Hotel was clean, staff was polite, but un general we found the accommodation as being totally outdated. I wonder which interior architect decided to place a bathtub in the room, while the room is already tiny enough. I was happy to return home after 2 days
