This hotel was perfect for our needs and the staff was very nice and very helpful. The hotel is filled with people who have business in Juba and South Sudan. We were there for 12 days and it was quite comfortable

We had a wonderful stay at the Amarula. One can truly describe it as an Oasis. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and responsive to ones needs. The Chef Richard's food was excellent and the portions generous. The rooms are clean and tidy and everything is functional. The surroundings are great green and birdlife and butterflies were great to see. It is a quiet restful place after a hectic and hot day. We would recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Wau. As it is truly WOW!

This is a simple lodge with clean, but basic rooms. The beds are ok, and the facilities are clean and acceptable. Given the area / country it is in, it is not bad at all for the price. It is frequented by lots of UN people. The restaurant is actually pretty good with decent breakfast and fantastic fresh peri peri at mealtimes. The swimming pool is fantastic for a few relaxing hours after a sweltering day in Juba and the water temperature is sublime. Staff are friendly, but inefficient. They go about their tasks without commitment and service is slow. For seasoned African travelers the place is a cool oasis, but the armed security guards, spartan rooms, intermittent electricity supply, and often overloaded aircon, this lodge might be a bit much for softer travelers to cope with comfortably, Payment can only be made in USD for the room and in Sudanese Pounds for the food. Take cash with you because you can't pay by credit card. Also, make SURE you have only perfectly crisp, new USD notes. They can easily refuse to accept older notes, especially if they are slightly (and I mean slightly) nicked or torn. Even the latest notes will be rejected if they are grubby or torn.

Wau River Lodge's leafy gardens and shaded buildings are laid out over 4 acres on the breezy banks of the Jur river. The hotel is a welcome oasis in the hot and dusty Wau bustle. If you are looking for a home away from home in the Southern Sudanese state of Western Bahr El Gazel, then this is it! Built in the colonial times by the British, the lodge enjoys encompassing, covered verandas and high ceilings designed to keep its interior cool. Extensive renovations have ensured that our residents enjoy all modern amenities like a/c, fans, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, continuous power supply, filtered water, swimming pool, and so on.The hotel offers a wide range of accommodation alternatives, as well as conference facilities, office space and warehousing.
The food is very very good. Not far away from the centre of the town but still quiet and tranquil. It is very clean and safe in the wau river lodge.it has a very nice pool eve though it may be small. I ould recommend this to anyone.

Juba Continental is a comfortable stay as per Juba standards, but going by the money you pay it may pinch you each night is $ 140, but this is a standard for this place even normal standard hotel with basic facility will charge you a minimum of $100 Don't expect power to be there for whole day as this country runs on generators and diesel comes from Uganda, Located in good place this hotel is very comfortable and staff is very nice and co operative, food is good and you can find good continental dishes with reasonable rates There is TV and air conditioning in each room Beds are comfortable, Be careful not to venture out specially after 8 pm unless it is necessary

Spent some time having poolside lunch at the hotel over the weekend. The service was great and so were the snacks and drinks.I particularly enjoyed the delicious food. The spread of the buffet was great and so was the taste.

Considering that the choise of accomodations in Wau are not that manifold the Safari Park Hotel is a good, clean and friendly hotel. Management is good. If something is not working and that happens from time to time she is directly taking care of it and fix it. Power will be off during the day between 8 and 6. so in the afternoon and nighttime you will have aircondition and wifi. Room: The beds have moskito nets, only a small window (but that doesnt matter ecause than it does not get to hot inside), warm shower, flushing toilet. The restaurant serve good and western oriented food like Sandwich, Spagetti, French Fries and several stews. The restaurant has a nice setting in a garden but also indoor. Breakfast is sometimes a bit limited. Usually on a good day you get bread, eggs, jam, bit of fruits sometimes only some of it. I was there twice and can recommend the hotel.

La Corte Tuscana hotel is base on the the rive Nile. With great scenery from the restaurant the hotel offers a highly recommended cuisine for every one. Our room are of the highest standard.
