A unique wooden Khmer style accommodation built from reclaimed wood of the northeastern part of Cambodia, set in the lush tropical garden with mango trees and rice fields.
It has been a while since we stayed at Isann Lodge, in fact we visited exactly one year ago in October'19. We miss the place and people immensely, want to return to Siem Reap once more just spend some more days in Isann Lodge. This was our second anniversary and we were searching for a cozy, boutique hotel amidst some greens. We saw a lot of options on the internet but somehow zeroed down on Isann. And till date we feel blessed about finding this place. The rooms are huge and artistically done. The furniture and other things are minimalistic but in complete harmony with each other. We booked a garden room that had a wonderful stone bathtub in the back courtyard. Outside the swimming pool has crystal clear waters with reflections of the dense trees all around them. Across the resort is an open air restaurant serving amazing food (no wonder the place is owned by a famous Cambodian chef). We wish we go back very soon. The people at the reception were really helpful and they introduced us to Souhak, our tuk-tuk driver was a great guy. Over 3 days he should us all the places in Angkor and took so much care that he even got breakfast packed for us at 4 AM before we went for our excursions.

My girlfriend and I stayed in a standard double room with a private bathroom on the upper floor. On arrival, we were greeted by receiving a cold towel to cool us down along with a welcome ice tea. Check in was a quick and easy process and our bags were carried to our room for us. In the room we had a television, kettle, fridge and bottled water. The room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a good size with toilet paper provided. We were also provided with towels and soap. Air conditioning and the fan worked great in keeping us cool. We slept well every night. There was a wedding on the same street but ear plugs did their job. There is a swimming pool outside which is handy for cooling off, although my opinion was that there aren’t enough sun beds or space to cover everyone. Not too much of an issue for us though as we were out most of the days. The hotel offers assistance with booking day trips such as Angkor Wat, and they are very knowledgable. For reasonable prices they also assist with tuktuk drivers, which we used for Angkor and the Apopo Visitors Center. The restaurant has some great breakfasts on offer, ranging from eggs, toast and sausages to fruit salads and cups of tea or coffee. The breakfast was free with our room and lunch and dinner are also relatively cheap. The WiFi near the pool was better than the WiFi in our room, which to be honest wasn’t brilliant but was ok. There was also two power cuts one night, but I think this affected other places on the street too so I don’t think this was at the fault of the hotel. There is laundry service for $1.00 per kilo. The staff are super friendly and they always have a smile on their face, they are very welcoming. All in all I would absolutely recommend staying here if in Siem Reap, it is great value for money.

The Oriental is a very nice and immaculately clean hotel in the Center of Siem Reap. Only a 5 min walk away from the vibrating night market and pub street (for those who enjoy places like this) in a very calm and green side street on the other side of the river. There is also a couple of kitchens and balconies that are shared between two rooms and unlimited supply of drinking water. Staff and management provided us with excellent advice for restaurants and bars - you just need to ask. Additionally Mrs. Van Anh was very helpful and engaged in sending my ID - which I forgot in the hotel - back to my home address. Thank you so much. Andreas

We are quite close to the World heritage site, and all the main attractions, Angkor Wat 7km, and the international airport is 8km from our property.
The rooms are very clean, the food is really good and the people working there are very friendly and love to help you with all your plans for the area around there. We could not have made a better choice with our stay there!

The location is good, near to the night market ( for the matter of fact, there are several night markets in Siem Reap). Also nearby is the Artisans workshop, several restaurants ,a departmental store just a few minutes away (we bought drinking water there,as it is cheaper than in hotel). The rooms are clean, spacious. But the biggest disapointments are the poor condition of the air conditioning and the absence of elevator. Also the complimentary breakfast was the smallest in amount and variety that we had ever in a hotel. A special thanks to the manager for getting us the booking of Apsara dance. Overall,a decent place to stay, but don't have high expectations.

Although the room was spacious and the breakfast was nice the hotel has to go a long way to attract tourists. We booked two rooms, the AC in one of them was not working. They changed the room thereafter but the behaviour was not pleasant. The worst experience happened during check out. They refused to take payment over credit card even when there was a card machine and display was there that they accept cards. Thereafter they did not have change for dollars and then when I paid in Rials they were not able to give me back the full change. I was getting late for airport so I could not wait any further. Language is a big issue, the person at the desk name Sambhu can not understand English at all and that makes things even worse. They need to work a lot to make any mark as Siem Reap has host of many other hotels.
