Sailing, diving, fishing and relaxing are the main activities for visitors to the 115 islands of this Indian Ocean archipelago. Mahé, Praslin and La Digue are the most popular islands. Mahé boasts 65 silver beaches, plus an array of restaurants, cafés, bars and casinos in the tiny capital, Victoria. The Seychelles are home to UNESCO-designated sites, coral atoll Aldabra and Vallée de Mai, called the Garden of Eden. Creole is the main language, but English and French are widely spoken.

Choice Villa is made up of 3 comfortably furnished self-catering apartments. Most of the furniture has been produced from Seychelles timber adding a local ambiance to your stay. Each apartment has a large double bedroom with bathroom and toilet ensuite, kitchen and dining/sitting room. All have ceiling fans and the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The verandah at the front of the Villa provides a relaxing and cool area where guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner. We are situated a leisurely 10 to 15 minute walk from the beach.
Spent a wonderful visit at this villa. Well situated and within easy reach to local grocery shops, the bus top, eateries and most importantly to Beau Vallon beach. Cecile the owner has been a peach and communicates from booking, arrival and departure. The Bouganvilla apartment was lovely, quite comfortable, well equipped and spacious. I enjoyed every bit of the breakfast on the days when I am not off on an early adventure and the staff was superb. Definitely hope to have another visit.

We stayed here on out third week in Seychelles. We stayed in many beautiful places but in all honesty, this was my preferred place. We had everything we needed, plenty of air flow and AC in the main area and living area. The kitchen is fully functioning with everything you need. They keep it really clean. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and Welcoming. It's walking distance to the beach and a few stores. Perfectly located. Great value. We unfortunately couldn't stay longer because it was booked and now not in such a nice place, helping me appreciate what I had :)

Bois Calou is situated in a peaceful secluded area in the South of Mahe, and about 10km from the International Airport. The place is grassland, surrounded with endemic palms and other exotic species of the native vegetation from which its name is derived. It is strategically positioned within a few distances of two beautiful southern beaches – Anse Royale, being 1.5km away and Anse La Mouche Bay, 1km.away. It also boasts of breath taking mountainous and sea views. The accommodation is tranquil, informal and offers the ultimate island holiday.Bois Calou consists of two self-catering chalets. The first chalet has three double air-conditioned bedrooms, a large lounge, dining room and a well equipped country kitchen. It accommodates six adults and ideal for families or group of friends. The second chalet has one double air-conditioned bedroom, a lounge and a well equipped kitchen/dining room. It accommodates two adults. All bedrooms are ensuite and other rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Both apartments have a private patio enable visitors to relax and enjoy the views while feeling the soft cooling breeze coming from both mountain and sea or simply to watch the afternoon slipped away. Both chalets can be booked jointly for larger groups. Children are most welcome and price negotiable.
I visited the seychelles and it is what you see on the tin. A small but beautiful island surrounded by warm sea. It is very green and hilly but the the roads were poor and the bus network though very cheap was like taking your life in your hands. Seychelles is great when your within a 5 star hotel with aircon and regular bug sprays but staying in chalets at the top of a hill with very limited air con was very uncomfortable. The humidity in the seychelles is horrific. The mosquitos were develish and bit me to death despite using sprays and lotions. The heat in march was uncomfortable without aircon and when it rained it did so heavily for 24 hours at a time. All in all for me the Seychelles was not somewhere i would choose to revist Mauritius was far nicer.

Four bedroom self catering villa with swimming pool. Two bedroom self catering top floor apartment. Two bedroom self catering ground floor apartment. Self catering garden cottage.
It's the second time we spent two weeks there and we stay well. We were there last year and this february. We went to the fish market in Victoria to buy fresh fish ( the only thing less expensive in Seychelles ), and we cooked in our kitchen. The supermarket is next door. The apartment is cleaned every three days. The manager, Miss Nila is very kind and helpful and the owner Mr Rogan and his wife are very kind and courteous. Ivanromeo.

An exclusive lodge nestled in the cove of a cape on its own sandy beach, protected by the coral reef. 3 villas, 8 rooms and suites in total for total privacy. Here, time stands still and nature reigns. A Garden of Eden, a lush tropical forest, pristine beaches and clear water, Silhouette Island offers you activities: hikes in the National Park, meetings with the giant tortoise, playing Robinson Crusoe on desert beaches, and diving to discover incredible species! In creole-style, with verandas open on the sea front, the Lodge offers intimate luxury for holidays. If you wish total privacy you can rent the whole villa or the entire lodge for an incentive and family holiday. The dining room offers delicious dishes facing the Ocean. The Chef will be delighted to prepare a daily menu, introducing you to local products, gastronomic technics, depending on the season. The lounge will enable you to relax, share moments around the library, and enjoy a game or a cocktail on the terrace watching at the nature show, or enjoy a nature trip with a guide or not, a fishing trip, or a relaxing cruise aboard the Belle Tortue boat.
Silhouette is a beautiful granite island which is either explored on foot or by boat. La Belle Tortue is one of two accommodations on the island. If you prefer an intimate, quieter experience shared with no more than a small number of like minded individuals, then La Belle Tortue is the perfect choice. We spent five wonderful nights in the varangue room which was extremely comfortable and its spacious veranda was ideal for relaxing, reading and listening to the sounds of bird song and the ocean. What made this lodge so special was the exceptional hospitality of general manager and chef, Benjamin and his staff. Benjamin's four course, evening menu was an absolute delight, each dish demonstrating his culinary expertise. The beach immediately in front of the lodge is perfect for a swim at high tide; reef shoes are needed for exploration at a lower tide. There are many activities to choose from; we enjoyed a romantic sunset cruise with boat crew, Alain and Ryan. We also arranged to be taken to and collected from Anse Grande Barbe, on the other side of the island, where there is the perfect 'Robinson Crusoe' beach, which we enjoyed all to ourselves. Behind the beach, we explored the ruins of an earlier settlement where a handful of people still live. Alternatively, the beach can be reached by a long hike and a guide can be provided. Snorkelling trips can also be arranged and diving is accommodated at the Hilton hotel further along Anse La Passe. We especially enjoyed walking along this stretch of beach at low tide to Baie Cipailles, a stunning part of the coastline with granite boulders and shallow pools. We also enjoyed the easier hikes to other beaches such as Anse Cimetiere and Anse Lascars. La Belle Tortue provided the ideal opportunity to do as little or as much as we liked on a relatively untouched island just a 45 minute boat transfer from Mahe. Thank you to all the staff who helped to make our stay so unique and enjoyable. Julian and Juliet

Bambous River Lodge is located on the banks of the Bambous River, situated at Mount Simpson Bel Ombre, on the north coast of the main island of Mahe. We are situated close to Marie Laure beach and a few minutes walk from the extremely popular and world famous Beau Vallon Beach featuring the white sands and turquoise blue water of the Indian Ocean.
Best place to stay, so quiet and nice. very good service, cleaning every day. Everyone who worked was very nice and helpful, always did the little extra to make it all good. Wanted to send an extra star to Adjed who always made sure we were fine, came with extra umbrella when there was a lot of rain and we had been shopping, although it was about 10 meters to our door from the parking lot. The owner Maryese (don't know if I spelled the name correctly) was very helpful and nice, informed us of different places to visit. She was very familiar and caring. They gave us cucumbers and other assorted vegetables from time to time from their garden. They always asked if we needed anything. Nice with own kitchen and it was large and spacious bedroom, plenty of drawers and shelves, the bed was king size a little hard but perfectly ok. The bathroom was large and clean. Walking distance to a little smaller beach and about 10 min to the nearest grocery store. We rented a car the whole time we were here. We stayed here for 23 days and will book here again if we return to Seychelles

A small hotel with a wonderful ocean view and atmosphere. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Swimmingpool. Parkinglot. Good breakfast in the restaurant. Free shuttle to the Beau Vallon beach nearby. The internet on the Seychelles is a bit slow and weak, however worked outdoors on the deck. All in all - a Treasure!

We arrived by taxi and by the 2nd day we realized we needed a car. I searched online and couldn't find anything. When I messaged Phillipa, she coordinated with Antoine and we had a car brought to the lodge within a couple hours. We drove around the island to the Botanical Gardens and Le Jardin, also went to several beaches and the beach closest to lemongrass was definitely our favorite. Also another beach close by had amazing snorkeling. Staff was amazing! Beautiful surreal sunsets from the balcony.
