All rooms are individual apartments in a gated community. Some of them are sea facing. We stayed in an apartment with two balconies and a small kitchen. We could see, hear and smell

Reviewed By GaureshP4We visited this hotel after visiting the Sun temple at Konark all throughout our journey in Odisha we were served excellent mutton however this hotel topped all other places including very highly rated places the mutton served year was excellent for its taste consistency as well as flavour this was probably the best mutton we had during our Odisha trip. We had mutton kasa which was the speciality in addition to that they have excellent locally made rajbhog I would highly recommend this place fora meal if you are around Konark

Reviewed By Adventure24317140180We had set of many concerns and issues at our three day stay in Treebo gold coast hotel listed below: 1. Room facilities: a) out of the 3 rooms booked: in one room ac was not working properly, fans oscillation was not working, no ceiling fan in any room and wall fan was located at such a place where only one person if sat under the fan could feel the breeze of the fan. It was not directed towards the sitting area or sleeping area. b) Room service like serving tea is quite awful. They served very late and if instructed with certain genuine specifications it was argued due to which further delayed service. c) Rooms were not cleaned properly 2. Food: was not at all worth spending. 3. There is no lift. 4. This hotel is far off from the main beach area Last but the least, treebo online payment was done in advance and zero dues were payable. But on the day of checkout further payment was asked for. On questioning about the earlier invoice they said they forgot to intimate the customer of the balance payment in advance and wrong invoice was generated.

Reviewed By Kusum GGot opportunity to stay for eight days during Shri Bhagwat Katha in four seated room. Location of the hotel is good. Rooms may be called by and large Satisfactory but service is not up to mark. Tap/ valve in bath room leaking, TV in the room not working, despite repeated request the problem could not be solved during our stay of eight days. The AC and Geysers not working. For getting AC working extra payment had to be made even than management not happy in providing AC facility. Bath room are dirty and not being cleaned on daily basis.

Reviewed By Swati GWe decided on staying at the lodge based on positive reviews and were not disappointed. The place is very basic but clean and most important 5 min walking from the Konark Temple, 2 kms from the beach. Rooms are moderately sized don't expect any thing other than a basic lodge . Its functional and meets the brief. The manager even lent us his 2 wheeler for a quick ride to the beach early morning which was really useful. We had a lovely stay.

Poorest services and amenities at high cost
Reviewed By SKD_genuineExperienced horrible services and room quality during family trip between 22-25th May22. Balcony door is broken and nonoperative. Food was served in used plates and cutlery 2 times during same day lunch. No meaning of house keeping since they don't respond. Garbage bags full of garbages are not changed during room cleaning, bed sheet not even changed 2 days in row. They don't even respond to minimum requirement of floor mat, damaged cattle. This is poorest experience with high cost. Beware of Golden Palace.

Nature Camp Konark Retreat is a community project on Kushabhadra river side of Konark where we have engaged the villagers of Khalakata patna to take care of the visitors to this area staying overnight with a different experience. Water Sports activities with Nature & village environment & few minutes drive to the World Heritage site as well as the Famous Pilgrim site of India. Two hours drive to the Asia's Largest Brackish Water Lake. Nature Camp offers Eco Friendly stay with comfortable service standard offered by the local community. Healthy Odiya cooked meal is served in our In house restaurant by local village cook.
A nice place hidden away in the woods
Reviewed By kranganathStayed for a day at Nature Camp Konark Retreat during my trip to Odisha. Tucked away in the woods just outside the Puri-Konark marine drive, the place is at close proximity to the Sun temple at Konark. Just a few hundred feet from the property, the Kushabhadra river flows by before joining the sea at Ramchandi Beach. The stay is in fine Swiss tents, equipped with a nice porch, a cozy bed and a clean bathroom. Set amidst cashew, casuarina, acacia and many other trees, the place provides a comfortable place to relax. I spent late evening hours working on my photographs at the common restaurant area, chatting with Ms Sanghamitra the owner, with her labrador for company, even as Chitto served me a hot dinner with a lot of care. The two cups of hot soup were just what I needed to beat the early January chill. The food was delectable. After the visit to the sun temple, I took a short boat ride to marvel at the estuary of Kushabhadra as the river meanders her way to join the sea. The last rays of the reddish sun reflected on the wet sand as the sea roared on one side and the river gently soothed my bare feet on the other. Early morning, I took a walk along the banks of Kushabhadra as the sun rose on the eastern horizon. The fisherfolks were out early, unmindful of the fog and the morning chill. I took a few photographs to capture the beautiful scenery, went back into the cottage for a refreshing hot bath and ended my stay with a tasty breakfast, again served with great hospitality.
