Giuseppe the owner is a fantastic host. The suite room is beautifully decorated with a touch of USA colours. A gorgeous big round bed and nice bath with jacuzzi and rgb lights. Breakfast is extraordinary good with homemade cakes and fresh fruits. The tour guys can pick you up from here and take you to the volcano etna. The B&B is close to the main square for a local food bite. Book it, you cannot go wrong with this B&B

Torre Archirafi Resort is an elegant and evocative complex for an elite tourism offering either hospitality to who wishes to pass a holiday discovering the Sicily or to those who want to pass a quiet and relaxing time.
Good points: Fabulous accommodation with excellent facilities. Beautiful gardens and sea view. Owners were very helpful and obliging. Fantastic value for money. Bad points: Bed a little too hard for our liking. Not much to do in immediate vacinity so you need a car. A few local restaurants were very good value for money and very good food.

Etna Wine is a newly founded Agritourism resort deeply rooted in the past. Settled in the lush vegetation of the vineyards the Villa has been completely remodeled to retain the beauty of it’s traditional architecture. There are seven lovely apartments, a museum,a large hall for tasting of Etna DOC wine and typical regional products and a historical wine cellar with wooden wine barrels. Ample parking available for buses and cars
Stayed one night at this vineyard with two friends, after reading good reviews on Google. It proved to be wrong. There was a shabby atmosphere (not in a positive way) in the reception and it smelled fish when arriving. It was a low standard on our apartment, and after deciding to try the restaurant for supporting the vineyard we were even more disappointed. Came to the restaurant in the evening, a hour after opening. It was very spacious and with a lot of table, it look like they were prepared for customers with plates, glasses etc. There were two other guests, and when we were "welcomed" we only got one meny, for the three of us, to share. When we asked for two more after trying a while to get the waiters attention, she told us that they only had three menues and the two other was with the other couple. Say what!! It continued with a terrible service, we would say non existing. It look like she hated her job and couldn't be less interested in serving us. We felt a bit uncomfortable with the whole setting, and the shabby atmosphere continued in the restaurant as well. I don't think a smile, a warm welcome and attention to your customers is too much to ask for when eating at a place. This was aweful, the only good thing was my friends, they saved the dinner and was very good company just by being themselves. The only thing making this stay getting 2 stars instead of 1 is the food.

The GuestHouse "Holland International" is situated in the 18th century palace "Guttadauro di Reburdone", in the heart of the historic centre of Catania. In this way it is located inside the cultural and artistic centre of the city, among monuments and baroque style palaces, modern and ancient theatres and, obviously, pubs, restaurants and pizzerias. But, in the same time, the architecture of the palace offers a quiet environment and its position makes locations outside the city centre easy to reach by public transport. Catania is in fact an ideal city to plan excursions around the Etna volcano, and to reach touristic locations like Taormina and Siracusa. The ample and sunny rooms available are mostly decorated with original frescoes. The rooms are equipped with heating, air conditioning, satellite TV, Internet Wi Fi and tea-coffee making facilities. You can choose between rooms ensuite or rooms with a shared bathroom (shared exclusively between 2 rooms). The palace faces the sea, so some rooms have a pleasant view of Ionian Sea while others benefit from the peace of the large internal courtyard. Car parking is available at no cost.
Do not expect the usual b&b nor a 5-star hotel, this is something different. The rooms are located in a beautiful historical building close to the station and the city center. The exterior is unfortunately a little rundown, which is a real pity because the building is very beautiful. Honestly we didn't get a good impression when we first entered the courtyard (where we could park our car). Instead, the interior is really unique. The style is vintage in a good way. Common areas are full of paintings, panels and mementos and ceilings are decorated with frescos, all transmitting unique vibes. Rooms are spacious and clean. The owner is very kind, friendly and available. Definitely recommend.
