Residence Capo San Marco & Renella’s guesthouse, surrounded by the green Mediterranean vegetation and an unpolluted deep blue sea, faces the wonderful southern coast of Sicily. It lies a perfect position; 190 m. far from the sea and 4 km. from Sciacca, known for its thermal baths. It’s an area rich of old traditions and culture. Thanks to its position, this resort allows its guests to choose between a holiday spent on the beach or having interesting excursions. In fact, our resort is near the famous thermal baths of Sciacca and the world-famous ”Valle dei Templi” in Agrigento. It really is one of the most beautiful places in Italy for its archeology, architecture and also its many naturalistic itineraries. For any further information about these excursions you can ask us and we’ll give you all the detailed information you need or if you wish you can click on “itineraries”.
On your booking confirmation it says there is a reception with opening hours during which you can book in. Wrong. There is no reception. If you manage to contact the owner by telephone and he manages to contact the cleaner she may, or may not turn up to give you the keys. We waited around for 2 hours before managing to do this and during our stay met several people all wondering what to do after hanging about for some long time. It is quite a large block of self catering apartments on two floors. We were on the first floor with quite a good view of the sea with a kitchenette with extra sofa bed which had to be used as the sitting area; small double bedroom and small bathroom. The apartment is inadequately and cheaply equipped having a gas hob with no oven and only an old, burnt frying pan to cook with and some battered saucepans with no utensils, spatula etc. Very little cutlery ie 3 non matching knives for eating. Bed linen is included but towels are extra and there is no tea towel or washing up liquid provided. There is no airconditioning and no way of getting a draught through the apartment which is then uncomfortably hot during June, July and August. No fan is provided. The apartment was reasonably clean but the basin in the bathroom was nearly completely blocked. All the plugs in the sinks had been removed and there was no stand on which to dry clothes. Everyone we spoke to staying here said they were disappointed and did not think he placed lived up to its description on the internet. We thought it was not worth the money asked and certainly would not come back again.

Ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday , with all the comforts of a range of hand and point out ideal for The fans of culture and the sea . Cassata and rooms and a cozy and comfortable residence situated in the center of Agrigento a few steps from the bus terminal and 10mins Walking from the Old Town to visit easily all the sights .
Lovely b&b 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Agrigento. Francesco is a welcoming host who speaks just enough English to get by with non Italian speaking guests. It would be a five star review except his dinner recommendation was not good (petitto). Shame, because otherwise it was perfect.

Guesthouse born from a long restoration of an ancient structure of the first of the 50 where within the same living still signs restored and renovated an old mule all combined to design rustic ethnic and vintage , which makes the location special .

I stayed in this B&B just for a night with my mother. The young owner welcomed us with a cheerful smile and he gave us all the necessary information: where to park the car, where to have lunch and dinner (called "osteria expanificio" - excellent price-quality ratio and local dishes) and how to visit "la valle dei templi". The B&B has a terrace with a beautiful view on the archeological site (lighted on from 9pm). You can also admire the dawn and the sunset. The young owner is one of the kindest hotel keeper, I have never met during my several trips. I definitely suggest this hotel to everyone.

"In the heart of the city but away from the noise of traffic…" The building is located in the heart of the old town of Agrigento, along the Via Saponara connecting the main Corsican city (Via Atenea), with the major monuments such as churches of Santa Maria dei Greci, St. Alphonsus, S . Giorgio and higher, the Cathedral of St. Gerlando. Two steps are Pirandello Theatre, a venue for important plays. The area where stay has served as an artisan shops
Claudia was really nice, welcoming and ready to give all the advice you need ! It was really practical to reach by car and cosy. Our room was big and very clean, with a balcony and a terrace! The AC and wifi worked well. The breakfast was delicious, always with fruits:) I recommand this place 100% if you are planning to visit Agrigento! I will for sure come back. Thank you so much Claudia !! Grazie mille !! Milène

Absolutely wonderful and Miriam at the front desk is an angel! We hope to be back very soon again. Really the perfect place to unwind and simply enjoy everything this place has to offer. Breakfast and lunch both great.

Baglio Lauria, an ancient hermitage of Franciscan monks who called the property the "Crucifix" was purchased by our father, Paul Lauria in the second half of the nineteenth century, following the unification of Italy. The company of about 50 acres, originally to address the cereal-livestock, is now cultivated with vineyards, olive groves and almond orchards, and from them we get a great extra virgin offered to all our customers friends. Baglio Lauria is situated on a plateau about 300 meters. sea level, in the municipality of Campobello di Licata (Agrigento), an agricultural center dating back to 1600. The large business center, the eighteenth-century origins, after careful restoration is now used as the reception of those who want a period of rest, in sunny Sicilian countryside, enjoying the island's traditional dishes, prepared in the company by its owners.
I will recommend that beautiful agriturismo to everyone who is looking to spend a relaxing holiday in Sicilia. This place is perfect if you are looking to stay in unique surroundings with authentic Sicilian decor. Every room is different, and you will enjoy every moment there. Not only in the room, yard or restaurant but also in the private pool. Thank you, Filippo, Andrea, Mauro and Salvo, for being great hosts. You treat every client as a special guest. I want to send a big hug to Sergio, the chef, for efficiently dealing with my food allergies. I finally enjoyed food with no gluten or lactose. I would recommend that amazing Baglio to everyone who wishes to have a fantastic time at the Island.

Relaxing staying for some night. Courtesy and sympathy of the owners. Aside to a countryyard of almonds trees Thats good for understanding the feeling of the Sicily"s way of life. Good breakfast with fresh pastry.
