Located on Lake Bomoseen in Central Vermont, Lake Bomoseen Lodge has undergone extensive renovations. Brand new lake-lodge inspired rooms, condos and cottage are available to guests year round plus a post and beam event space constructed in 2018. Activities include canoeing, kayaking, wakeboarding and more.
What a wonderful property on the shoreline of Bomoseen. Lots of rooming options from small motel type rooms to big multi-bedroom cottages (please pay the extra $ and spring for the Birch cabin - perfection!) Absolutely immaculately cleaned, every little detail take care of and a great restaurant on site (does not do breakfast, there is a small "european style" breakfast available at the office). Lovely staff and just an all around wonderful property.

There are 16 rustic, yet modern, rooms at Seesaw’s, including 3 luxurious cabins and a seven bedroom lodge, rented as a whole or as individual rooms and suites, featuring gas fireplaces, large LED smart TV’s, complimentary high speed wifi, and private en-suite bathrooms with today’s modern comforts that generously provide for your stay. The legendary Johnny Seesaw's full-service restaurant and bar provides dinner onsite.
We are a senior couple that looked forward to relaxing and meeting others for 4 days at Seesaw. We were surprised when we learned there is no one to greet us and no staff at the INN. We were just lucky the head housekeeper let us in and showed us around. She was terrific while she was there, but she had to go to the cabins. For the 3 nights we were totally alone for two. One night 2 men stayed. They had multiple bottles of liquor. One passed out on a stool and the 2nd on the stairs. My husband has medical issues. There was no information as to what to do in an emergency. The TV is limited to only Netflix. The kitchen had just about everything you would need, and the Great Room was beautiful but when you are all alone it isn't fun. We split a steak dinner, 2 soups and no alcohol. The cost was $120.00. It was my husband's birthday which was shared but no treat after dinner. The handyman was terrific. He helped me try to skate for the 1st time in 50 yrs. It was expensive for not having any activity. We do not recommend unless you just want a room for 1 night between Stratton and Bromley.

We just stayed here for the holiday weekend. This was our first stay but we’ll be back. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. The breakfast was better than the average continental breakfast and the coffee was fresh and strong. It a 25 minute trip to Brattleboro for a wide range of dinner options but that also made for a very peaceful stay. It’s also independently owned which is lovely.

Big Bears Lodge offers ideal lodging for visitors to Mount Snow, Vermont. The Mount Snow Ski Resort of Southern Vermont offers something for every taste in every season.
For starters, I will say that the lounge was amazing. The breakfast was great, the location was perfect and there was great service throughout our stay, as well as it being well kept and clean. However, the rooms were dated and the rules were slightly too strict, but that didn’t affect my stay. I would go back in an instant - thank you to Carolyn and Steve for making this stay comfortable.

We were looking for a budget place to stay on a short night on our way to Portland . We got a “cabin” room on edge of the property and it was ok. An older place but had a new t.v. and a fridge and the bathroom was updated . The first thing my wife noticed was there was NO chain- flip over security latch of any sort on the inside of the door . a 5 $ fix for piece of mind would be nice . A chair under the doorknob was our security system . Slept good and went to check out at about 0800. The managers live above office i assume, so I went to get my reciept paperwork which i file on my trips, and didn’t get the night before, and the office was locked . I rang the doorbell and no one was there . I figured they were out and about or cleaning rooms. We left and I called later and talked to the manager and asked for my paper work copy on a e-mail or texted picture . She took my info and said it would be sent . She never sent it and so I called back and requested e-mail again. Still waiting . Not a real good fix for an easy request . I’m rating this a 2 because of this .

My husband and I were supposed to attend a wedding this coming weekend so we booked a room at the lodge, unfortunately I tested positive for COVID and decided it would be best to cancel and not attend the wedding. I called the lodge to ask if it was possible to cancel our reservation, instead of the owner being polite and kind to me I got a response of laughing at me on the phone and “did you look at our cancellation policy?!” Not very good customer service in my opinion, I mistakenly misread the cancellation policy and thought it was a 2 day notice but it is actually a 2 WEEK notice. Just by that interaction Im glad we didn’t go because I don’t think we would have felt welcomed especially if there was an issue. I think they should have been more accommodating especially during this time, apparently the owner would have wanted me to continue my plans and infect her staff/customers and everyone at the wedding we were supposed attend.

We loved our week here in a one bedroom condo. The condo was very clean and well stocked with dishes and cookware. Bed was comfortable. But what made this place even better was the staff. Every singe staff person we met was friendly and certainly seemed like they really liked their jobs. The location was great for day trips into New York and Vermont as well as the towns in the Berkshires. And right across the street was a terrific Stop and Shop grocery store and gas station.

Mt Chase Lodge was established in 1960 as a recreational sporting lodge catering to sportsmen, hikers, family vacationers, snowmobilers and other outdoor oriented folks who appreciate the adventure and tranquility of the north Maine woods. In a quiet wooded setting, our comfortable lodge and private cabins offer excellent accommodations. Experience Wild Maine without sacrificing comfort!
My February 2022 weekend at Mt. Chase Lodge is the second time I brought a group of college students to the lodge for a weekend field trip. We needed snow, a frozen lake, and forest to conduct field studies that focused on winter ecology and at the end of the day, food and lodging that warmed our bellies and bodies. We got all of this and more from Lindsay and Mike. Because of winter weather and some other unanticipated circumstances that surfaced right before our scheduled weekend, I had to rearrange our arrival and departing time at the last minute and Lindsay could not have been more helpful. I was there for work but would love to visit on my own to soak up all that the lodge and surrounding land has to offer in the middle of the winter. At the same time, it didn't feel much like "work" because the whole experience of being there was so wonderful. I cannot recommend Mt. Chase Lodge enough to someone who has never been there.
