I reserved a room with outside door and the week I came I was early. Was told that they were booked and no outside door. Not what I was told on phone reservations. They should have got me the room as I was very early. 2nd air conditioner had to be set on 64 to get to at least 72. 3rd tv remote control did not work. 4th check several times for breakfast and coffee but I gave up At 7:45 am. Went to McDonald’s across the street. Do not think I will go there again. Was very disappointed.

Small Ma/Pa motel. Family ran. Located 5 stop lights off 1-80. Centrally located. Newly remodeled rooms. Rates range from 1b-1p of $35 plus tax in the winter to 1b-1p of $40 plus tax in the summer.
This is rather a lengthy review, so where to start. We'll start with the booking. I booked 2 smoking rooms, I chose this motel based on the higher reviews the price and the fact that it allowed pets thought it would be a quaint little motel. I booked this a few months in advance and I used the zip app to purchase rooms. Well the night before the owner messaged me asking if I meant to book a smoking room, no big deal I said yes. Well the next day I get an email from the place that I booked this through and my payment info was declined do to card being expired, if you know this zip app the card expires if not used by a certain time. She calls me and tells me this, I'm driving so I couldn't give her a card to use, but I told her I would have my girlfriend call her and get it taken care of, which my girlfriend did, problem solved. Okay the outside, the building is old a outdated it's located on a busy street close to a lot of restaurants and very convenient walking distance. ( but due to this this place has a lot of noise I mean a lot! Not her fault but take that into consideration if you book here) Now for the rooms... We weren't expecting a 5 star place I mean it was a smoking room, but this room I couldn't even call it a 0 star room, it had mold on the ceiling that it looked like they painted over( her response was it was from the wall being darker and the ceiling being white and it was over lap... It wasn't) found ants and cockroachs in room the bed frame was busted ( when I say frame I mean the leg of the bed, they had taken duct tape and tried fixing the leg with that. The shower when turned on you have to pull a valve for the water to come out of the shower head, when valve was pulled water started spraying from the faucet by the wall instead of the shower head. I tightened the faucet so it would stop spraying and start spraying from the shower head. Now the linen part of the review, the towels had smelled like they were washed then left in the washer for a day or 2 before putting them in the drier, the sheets had burn marks in them the pillow cases were stained. We should have just left right then and there but it was late. The next morning I get up and head out to do the thing I had come to this town for. When I walked out, there was a vehicle with people sleeping in it ( her response was they didn't have the money for deposit for pets so they slept in the vehicle with the pets) I get a message from the place I had booked this through asking me how the process was and how the rooms were. I wrote a response with the problems I had in countered. And that's when it got really bad. They owner messaged me through the booking company. I didn't reposned right away. The owner then started messaging me on my personal phone. Again I didn't respond I was busy, she then started messaging my girlfriend on her personal phone. My girlfriend and talked about this and we decided we would just go to a different place and check out of there, we weren't asking for a refund or anything, we just wanted to leave! Well after the graduation I had attended we went back to go check out, I was mad so it was best not for me to speak to this owner so my girlfriend went in to check out. While in there the owner and who my girlfriend thought was her husband ( later to find out was her son... I know I shouldn't have to add this part but I have to) was very confrontational. My girlfriend said she didn't have time for this and wasn't going to argue about it, we weren't happy with the rooms and just wanted to leave(again we wasn't asking for a refund) after this had happened the owner then messaged my girlfriend again after we had left! Wait there's more! I wrote a review on google( which she flagged and had removed) I then remembered the messages through the booking agent that she had sent me. I open them up and responded to them. ( since I'm only allowed to post 10 images, I posted the Google review and some of the messages she sent ) so since my Google review got flagged my girlfriend posted a review. The owner then responded that she had no one by that name ever stay at her establishment! But yet was calling her out saying she used a fake name ( my girlfriend checked into this place, name was not fake) the owner then flagged that message and had it removed. Girlfriend went back and did another review last I checked it was still there. So to sum it up, the reason I recommend not ever staying her, is the owner becomes very rude and starts slandering you if you don't leave a good review. That and the rooms are really really in poor shape.

I was completely satisfied with my choice of staying here . I was driving on the Hwy and saw a sign new and opened, I decided to stop in ask how new, It had been opened for a year now. So i decided to stay since it was new. Great place to crash for the night and bang for the buck. Good value for the room, It was spacious and very clean. Air conditioner worked well. I was impressed on how clean it was and the layout was good. Very large bath room and shower

When we arrived, the owner of the establishment tried to charge us 199 dollars after we had already paid online. When we disputed this, the owner then tried to haggle with an offer of 150. As we were extremely tired from a long road trip, we tried to reason with the owner. After some back and forth, eventually the owner showed us a receipt from another customer that paid 139 and tried to offer 125 dollars as a “special deal” but this was still a double charge. When we decided to leave, the owner ran after our car to say he would be willing to double charge us “only” 100 dollars. I am entirely shocked that an Expedia affiliate would try to fraudulently take advantage of an immigrant family. DO NOT GO HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. If I could give negative stars I would.

The hotel was great, rooms were updated and very clean. The location was conveniently located just off of the trail. The owner was very nice and went out of his way to make it an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay there again.

I'll start by saying golfing here was a great experience and well worth the trip out. The lodge was good but really doesn't live up to the potential. The beds weren't very comfortable & the wifi was horrible... I know the point is to get away while you're here but it was tough to get things done for work as well. Everyone we met on the course, pro shop, restaurant were very friendly & great to talk to, they really made the experience fun....One of the receptionists was just not friendly tho, I'm just going to assume she was having a bad week. Overall, Golf made up for any negatives of the lodge and we cant wait to get back. Also, Take a drive into town & eat at the Peppermill. One of the best steaks I've ever had.

Boutique Hotel located in a Historic building in Downtown Burwell, NE. Each Suite has separate Bedroom, Bathroom and Queen size pullout couch. Mini Fridge, Locally Roasted Coffee and dining area. Big screen TV in each room.
Definitely would recommend this downtown hotel. Quiet, clean and just what we needed for our ladies hiking trip. The coffee made in Burwell was a nice touch. Patio gave us a good place to get together. Places to eat within walking distance were very welcoming and very good!

This is a Decent Small Motel! Totally Convenient Location to All Amenities Needed for the Tired Traveler. I just got here today, and if the Owner Keyrie knows your coming in advance he will have the Heat on with the heater in your Room, which by the way works very Well!!?. The Owner Keyrie is Very Cool people, and a nice Man. I liked Him right off the Bat. He's from Jersey, I am from the East Coast. He is a one Man Show who has just recently acquired this Property and Runs this entirely by himself.. This Man in a short period have this Property Top Notch. I Know It! The Rooms are really decent. They are Affordable, Clean, and Comfortable. The WiFi here is Extemely good better than I have seen in more expensive Motels. Good hot water and pressure. Mini fridge and microwave.. My overall opinion is very good. I'd definately stay here again. Very peaceful safe and quiet!!! Let's Support this Local Small American Business and if you are traveling through Nebraska City Nebraska this Winter and Need a warm comfortable place to stay make this place your stay. STAY HERE!!
