Romantic Naples, two hours south of Rome, is the largest city in southern Italy. It has some of the world's best opera and theater houses and is often called an open-air museum, due to its many historic statues and monuments. Join families on the promenade as the sun sets on the Bay of Naples. View finds from Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale or revel in the art and architecture of Museo Cappella Sansevero, built in the late 1500s.

The location couldn’t have been better to explore Naples. The room was spacious , clean and confortable with a wide bed and a jaguzzi with great view to many directions. We also had great sleep as the streets are totally empty during the night. Customer service is very friendly. Free coffee in the lounge, but otherwise you need to find your your breakfast elsewhere. There are several nice cafes nearby. Deffinitively a hotel we would like to book again!

Very disappointing stay at Maison Toledo: -Bad smell in bathroom and bedroom -Cold shower -Breakfast was terrible; no fresh food and minimal selection. On New Year’s Day they didn’t provide any breakfast but charged the full price for the day incl. breakfast -Lack of basic amenities (no hairdryer, cheap shampoo & shower gel) -Cold room, no heating -Decor tacky and doesn’t reflect the grand historic building -4 doors with different keys to get to the room -Minimal service provided at reception Positive: -great location -bed is comfortable Not worth the price. Better options available.

Best hotel experience ever. Staff was so kind and helped us in all our needs. The new rooms are extremely confortable and have a standard of a 4 star hotel. Definitely recommended. We traveled for a short stay, a enjoyed the time. We are already planning a second stay...hopefully soon!

The place has been renovated very nice (although I had to hold the shower head making it difficult to wash my hair). The host was very nice and picked us up from the port at a discounted rate, gave us coffee and called our taxi for pickup the next morning. The issue is location. The area is industrial and doesn’t look safe to walk. We forgot to ask about buses so we just stayed in the hotel all day except for dinner. There is no front desk. The owner doesn’t stay overnight. There was literally screaming coming from the street at 11 PM and we (two women) were left alone in this place.

Fantastic place with fantastic service. When we arrived we couldn't find it at first but when we did we we're more than happy with both the interior if the room as well as with the location. We didn't expect to get breakfast at the hotel but appareantly it's included, although it isn't stated anywhere. Only the best of recommmendations from me.

The B&B Rivalta is located in one of the most beautiful and quite areas of Napoli, it is a oasis of quietness in this chaotic city, which is not too bad, if you are not used to the Neapolitan "lifestyle". The place had a beautiful terrace with a view on the sea, Vesuvius and the Sorrento coast in front of us, and a small part of the Capri Island, visible among the beautiful trees in the surrounding. The owner was very helpful and very kind, she also gave us a lift to the centre, because on Easter Monday it was hard to find a bus ticket. The room had a large, clean and beautiful toilet, although it was separated from the room by a little corridor. The place was a bit remote from the city centre, if you don't have a car it you have to rely on a single bus line (140) which doesn't drive very often, especially at night and on holidays. Of course there you can also find a taxi in the Salvatore di Giacomo square, close by, it doesn't cost too much in Napoli. The breakfast was a bit limited, we did not eat too much of it and the bed was not the most comfortable one.

Our flight was cancelled, but we managed to get another a day earlier, The hotel that we had booked for our holiday in Italy could not fit us in a day early, So we booked into the B&B Regy, it wasn’t the easiest place to find, but once we got there we were warmly greeted and offered cold water, juices and coffee, We were pleasantly surprised as it was a very late check-in. We had two rooms one for ourselves and one for our three teenage children. Both rooms had en-suite, the rooms were very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. The communal area had a fridge/freezer microwave, kettle and a coffee maker. Both rooms also had air conditioning.

Belledonne suite&galley is a sophisticated Bed and breakfast situated in the hearth of the city center, a few steps away from Piazza dei Martiri, Piazza del Plebiscito, Caracciolo seafront and the historic center of the city. A historic mansion inspired to an eclectic and timeless style. Belledonne suite&gallery is a guesthouse which offers a selection of suggestive Suites, perfect for both short and long stays, where to find the warmth of your own home in the hearth of Naples. Going through an entrance illuminated by a large window which overlooks the building courtyard of the early '900, you have access to the beautiful living room. This part of the mansion is used for temporary art exhibitions too, which end to be the characterizing part of the furniture giving the setting an international touch. From the common space you get to the suite through an external gallery which overlooks the courtyard, just like the Neapolitan traditional homes. The rooms are all different from eachother. Industrial floors, raw iron and recycled furnitures are the elements that give the touch of uniqueness and intimate hospitality to the single rooms.
We stayed there twice and the first time we were the only guests and aside from a very sketchy wifi connection the place was OK. The second time, the room next to ours was occupied and we could literally hear everything, conversations, interruptors and especially the TV on all night. So we could not sleep and missed two appointments in the city since the wifi did not work. There is no breakfast per say. The deco is nice but the walls are paper thin.
