Romantic Naples, two hours south of Rome, is the largest city in southern Italy. It has some of the world's best opera and theater houses and is often called an open-air museum, due to its many historic statues and monuments. Join families on the promenade as the sun sets on the Bay of Naples. View finds from Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale or revel in the art and architecture of Museo Cappella Sansevero, built in the late 1500s.

The location couldn’t have been better to explore Naples. The room was spacious , clean and confortable with a wide bed and a jaguzzi with great view to many directions. We also had great sleep as the streets are totally empty during the night. Customer service is very friendly. Free coffee in the lounge, but otherwise you need to find your your breakfast elsewhere. There are several nice cafes nearby. Deffinitively a hotel we would like to book again!

Best hotel experience ever. Staff was so kind and helped us in all our needs. The new rooms are extremely confortable and have a standard of a 4 star hotel. Definitely recommended. We traveled for a short stay, a enjoyed the time. We are already planning a second stay...hopefully soon!

It took us a little back and forth to locate the B&B, we had to match the street address closely as there is no visible sign, but once we matched the street address we found the intercom of the building listing Suite Duomo. We were buzzed through the gate to the building and then the gate to the stair way that lead up to the B&B. You had to go up 2 flight of stairs and then you are in the B&B. We had a great room, the disco light type setup in the bathroom was refreshing and cool. The shower was great with all sort of settings. The best part was the host and the warm welcome. they waited for us to check in (as they don't stay at the property), they were prompt with communication and greeted us with drinks and a bowl of chips. Breakfast was up the street at Cafe Duomo, where you can get a pastry and coffee/cappuccino included with your stay. The cafe opens early which is a plus. Air condition works well, a plus in the summer heat. Location was great, about 6 mins walk to the best pizza Naples has to offer and all the major attraction in the historic town center. We walked to the port to get on hydrofoil to head to Capri. We would definitely stay here again. They only take cash for payment, when we didn't think ahead and was a little short, they let us pay when we leave to check out.

The new SanGennaroBed is a nice apartment located in Palazzo Caracciolo di Gioiosa, attached of the Naples Cathedral and on front the museum Pio Monte della Misericordia, it overlooks also on the Europe's oldest obelisk, dedicated to our patron saint, SanGennaro. The home, newly renovated, sleeps 1 or 4 people for each of its 4 rooms with PRIVATE BATHROOM and has a kitchen where you can almost touch the Cathedral. It is the ideal place for those who want to rest a bit, sipping a tea or, since you are in Naples, a good coffee, where you can serve a hearty breakfast buffet or, if you like, cook your own meals, just like at your own home. We are located in the city center, in the middle of the major tourist and culinary attractions, public transport and also very close to the central station of Piazza Garibaldi (20 minute of walk). - Duomo (Cathedral): 1 mt. !!! - Pio Monte della Misericordia: 20 mt. (With Caravaggio's paintings) - Central Railway Station (Piazza Garibaldi): 900 mt. (Also trains to Pompeii/Herculaneum/Sorrento) - Private Parking: 20 mt. - Naples Capodichino International Airport: 3.5 km. - Harbor (Ships to Captri, Ischia and Procida): 800 mt. - Underground (Cavour): 600 mt. - Bus stop: 30 mt. - Pizzeria "da Michele": 400 mt. - Pizzeria "Sorbillo": 350 mt. - Pizzeria "Di Matteo": 150 mt. - Pizzeria "Figliuole": 350 mt. (Serves only fried pizza, you should try it) - Pizzeria "Concettina 3 Santi": 1.5 km. (but for me the best) - Napoli Sotteranea (The ancient subterranean town): 300m. - Via San Gregorio Armeno (Presepe, crib): 250 mt. - Veiled Christ (Sansevero Chapel): 500 mt. - Piazza Bellini (the most lively square in Naples): 500 mt. - Piazza Plebiscito - Royal Palace - Teatro San Carlo: 2 km. - National Museum: 1 km. and much much much more ...
The location is perfect, in the middle of old center, everything you want to visit is a few steps away. Rooms are big, clean and perfectly decorated with specific details of the area. I would choose again this place. Breakfast is ok, with packed snacks and coffee, tea and juices.

The B&B Rivalta is located in one of the most beautiful and quite areas of Napoli, it is a oasis of quietness in this chaotic city, which is not too bad, if you are not used to the Neapolitan "lifestyle". The place had a beautiful terrace with a view on the sea, Vesuvius and the Sorrento coast in front of us, and a small part of the Capri Island, visible among the beautiful trees in the surrounding. The owner was very helpful and very kind, she also gave us a lift to the centre, because on Easter Monday it was hard to find a bus ticket. The room had a large, clean and beautiful toilet, although it was separated from the room by a little corridor. The place was a bit remote from the city centre, if you don't have a car it you have to rely on a single bus line (140) which doesn't drive very often, especially at night and on holidays. Of course there you can also find a taxi in the Salvatore di Giacomo square, close by, it doesn't cost too much in Napoli. The breakfast was a bit limited, we did not eat too much of it and the bed was not the most comfortable one.

Belledonne suite&galley is a sophisticated Bed and breakfast situated in the hearth of the city center, a few steps away from Piazza dei Martiri, Piazza del Plebiscito, Caracciolo seafront and the historic center of the city. A historic mansion inspired to an eclectic and timeless style. Belledonne suite&gallery is a guesthouse which offers a selection of suggestive Suites, perfect for both short and long stays, where to find the warmth of your own home in the hearth of Naples. Going through an entrance illuminated by a large window which overlooks the building courtyard of the early '900, you have access to the beautiful living room. This part of the mansion is used for temporary art exhibitions too, which end to be the characterizing part of the furniture giving the setting an international touch. From the common space you get to the suite through an external gallery which overlooks the courtyard, just like the Neapolitan traditional homes. The rooms are all different from eachother. Industrial floors, raw iron and recycled furnitures are the elements that give the touch of uniqueness and intimate hospitality to the single rooms.
We stayed there twice and the first time we were the only guests and aside from a very sketchy wifi connection the place was OK. The second time, the room next to ours was occupied and we could literally hear everything, conversations, interruptors and especially the TV on all night. So we could not sleep and missed two appointments in the city since the wifi did not work. There is no breakfast per say. The deco is nice but the walls are paper thin.

Very disappointing stay at Maison Toledo: -Bad smell in bathroom and bedroom -Cold shower -Breakfast was terrible; no fresh food and minimal selection. On New Year’s Day they didn’t provide any breakfast but charged the full price for the day incl. breakfast -Lack of basic amenities (no hairdryer, cheap shampoo & shower gel) -Cold room, no heating -Decor tacky and doesn’t reflect the grand historic building -4 doors with different keys to get to the room -Minimal service provided at reception Positive: -great location -bed is comfortable Not worth the price. Better options available.
