All the rooms have Hot water, Cable TV, Wi Fi, and soon they will have a computer to rent in case you dont have your own. They have been decorated with Peruvian themed murals. We have very comfortable beds in Peru in this price range, and we want to make sure that you feel well in our place. We hve roos for backpackers, familys and couples.

We chose the place after visiting a few others (including 'Friend's place' hostel), 30 soles for a private room with a bathroom, tv and wi-fi is excellent value for money in the area. We stayed 3 nights. It feels more like hotel than hostel. ROOM: the room with queen bed is decent size, cozy, nice lighting, clean, towels and soap provided; very good wi-fi working in the room, tv with satellite channels including English movies; the matterace and pillows are ones of the best we have had so far, soft and super comfortable. Bathroom is small but nice and functional, electric shower with adjustable temperature means hot water all the time available, pressure is very low so that is small disadvantage; we got the room 203 which was not facing the street but 2x2m atrium so we did not have much daylight and view was at the window of opposite room, though there are other bright rooms in the hostel facing the street. If you are light sleeper you need earplugs as you can hear all the street sounds. However comparing to other rooms in the area at the same price it is excellent standard. Moreover the place is very safe, hostel surrounded by metal fence, external door closed all the time (open on request). SERVICE AND FACILITIES: the owner is very nice, kind person, allowed us for very late check-out free of charge (you cannot find it very often) and for that reason I am giving an extra star. There is small common area with big TV close to reception. LOCATION: the hostel is located in the center of the town, 2-3 blocks from the beach which means the area is quiet, but still 5mins walking distance to the sea and main pedestrian area. Close by is excellent chicken restaurant open from 6.30pm (polloria Barro)- 7s for a big portion. Also up the street just under Aleman hostel is nice local restaurant (Los Mariscos) with almuerzo for 7-10 soles. Huanchaco is about 30 mins by bus from Trujillo.

Reviewed By J BHuanchaco Paradise Apart Hotel is located at the Ocean Boulevard of Huanchaco and combines a hotel with a restaurant-bar. This review is about the restaurant. The restaurant has a terrace and the furnishings and decoration provide a simple atmosphere. Service is adequate. We came on a weekday evening and found some guests dining at the terrace and the indoor restaurant. The promising menu plate in front of the door made us deciding for the restaurant-bar of Paradise Apart Hotel. We went for a seafood-paella and a chicken filet with fries and salad. The chicken was acceptable and the paella wasn’t tasty. The next day the seafood had given us the squits. When you fancy mediocre Peruvian tourist food and like to have an unpleasant present in your belly the next day, restaurant-bar Huanchaco Paradise Apart Hotel, is the place for you. We found it a never-come-back show. For dining you have better options in Huanchaco.

Reviewed By Pat PReally nice city view suite. Lots of room and great value for the price and includes breakfast. Nice warm shower. Very nice staff. The location is great as it is just a nice 15-minute walk from the Plaza Armas in the centre. The football stadium is just across the road if you fancy taking in a game.

Reviewed By zegarradiPor fuera no aparenta un alojamiento simple, sin embargo tiene muchos detalles y buen trato de su personal, comodidad, limpieza y equipos hasta de aire acondicionado portátil ? agua caliente, café e infusiones para los huéspedes en cada piso… todo suma, pero lo mejor la vista al mar desde sus balcones rústicos! Recomendable para ir en familia. Estuvimos de paso una noche.

Basic but sufficient for a few nights stay
Reviewed By CestLeVieMismatching linen and a mismatch of furniture gives this place a rustic feel. Don't be put off by the decor because it is a comfortable stay. The host is very relaxed and helpful. He has some good recommendations for budget restaurants and can help book day trips. It is very quiet, even though close by are several discos and restaurants. The only issue i had was the shower which didn't seem to heat up sufficiently for the colder nights i experienced. (although probably ideal temperature when the weather is warmer).
