We visited this place for an early dinner. We were welcomed with great and quick service and delicious food. The restaurant area is also very modern and has very pleasant atmosphere and interior. An absolute delight for a tired traveler.

Looking for a family room quite difficult. On arrival it didn't look good but pleasantly surprised inside. Very clean. Fridge/Microwave/ towels/ kettle and nice comfy bed and pillows. Only stayed overnight to visit relatives but would happily recommend and we would stay here again.

-In booking site it was stated that room has shower and bathroom, however, when we arrived, expectations did not match with reality-bathroom was shared. So we felt cheated with room description. -Very, very thin walls so we could hear every single conversation from our noisy neighbour room. -road was very close so even tough hotel location is super nice, with green area, noise from traffic kind of a ruined holiday mood.

Excellent place. Peaceful, clean, very nice vibe. Every room has different charm. Balti sea is so close you can hear it in your room. Every room has a mini fridge, downstairs - very well equipment and large kitchen. Great place to relax. Very lovely house owners!

Miejsce dla namiotów nieco oddalone od sanitariatów (prysznic w cenie - na sąsiednim campingu płaci się extra 3€), ale za to dwa kroki do klifu. Widok fantastyczny. Plaża pusta. Cisza i spokój. Spokojnie można zanocować.

There are few things in the world so unpretentious and simple yet at the same time as absolute and valuted as milk. Milks is a symbol of strenght, health and wealth. It throws back to the nature and leads to the genuine and real values. It tells us about flowery meadows and fragrant hey, about childhood happiness and warm summer nights. That is why here, in the Milk Manor Berghof we always keep milk in a high position reminding on its values at every thought, deed or attitude.
This German manor turned spa hotel is the perfect getaway away from Rīga for a peaceful, relaxing escape. The building itself is beautiful and the grounds are so tranquil. The meals in the restaurant were tasty and convenient. It was easy to visit Kuldīga from this manor. Our room was pretty and clean. It’s unfortunate that you have so little access time to the pool. It might be small but it’s really nice. It’s too bad that the room for the sauna and the pool are in the same place and that the management had decided not to leave the pool available while guests use the sauna. I got a really nice massage by a really kind massage therapist. I would recommend this place to my friends!

but so-so hotel .Medieval castle ,but rebuild in 19th century - still one of the best in Curland. There are just some hotel rooms ,different size ,but all with furniture from the beginning of 20th century (?) ..."Extra long beds " and "soundproofing " are just words , LCD TV - too small. The good- restaurant ,serving inner yard and gallery opened 12-20 on Friday till Sunday. Offers some regional dish ,at very acceptable prices. "A la carte " breakfast for hotel guests is pricey (8 Eur), but consists of some cold cuts, omelette/porridge/pancakes (your choice ) really good Julius Meinl cofee and a fruit coctail. 4 points go to the castle ,but just 3 - to hotel...

Hard to resist the opportunity to stay in a historic building for a mere €50 a night in a double room with bathroom - and there isn't a big choice of accommodation in Dundaga. The room looked good (wooden floors, four-poster bed, recently decorated) but the smell emanating from the bathroom's drains was almost overwhelming. Maybe we were just unlucky. Hot water took an age to reach the shower (10 mins) and was then scalding - you have been warned. Our room had lovely views across the lake and parkland. The atmosphere is more youth hostel than hotel/guesthouse, with lots of young people in the castle during the day (it houses a music school) and only one member of staff looking after the accommodation who was hard to find and seemed to do as little as possible. Fortunately, the ladies in the Tourist Info office just down the corridor were more help, but we had to wait until 10am the next morning for someone to turn up and take our payment. And there was no wifi until 5pm when Tourist Info shut - the guest wifi must share the same router. There's a clean kitchen with a fridge, kettle, crockery, etc so you can make your own breakfast, and there's a good cafeteria only about 10 minutes' walk away which will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. All in all, not a bad place to stay, but do ask to see the room and have a good sniff before you decide.

Holiday home Usi was the starting point of our Baltic Coast Trail hiking trip from Kolka to Nida. The guest house consists of two separate rooms (the “yellow room” and the “blue room”) which share one common dining area / kitchen and a common bathroom. The yellow room has two single beds, and I think the blue room has a double bed. The two rooms also share the same entrance, but that entrance is separate from the entrance for the house of the owners, which is in the same building. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and so is the kitchen. We stayed in the yellow room and there was no-one staying in the blue room. We found the place very comfortable and to our liking, but I can see how it might have been less comfortable due to less privacy in the common rooms if both rooms would have been occupied. We had called the very friendly owner in advance to arrange that she cooked dinner and breakfast for us (extra cost, of course). Alternatively, you can self-cater in the kitchen (there is a shop in town). Also, there is a cafe in hotel Zitari where they serve basic meals. Both the shop and hotel Zitari are about 2km South in the “center” of Kolka town.
