The sapphire waters of Cephalonia are steeped with history. The large Greek island was home to Odysseus, the legendary king hailed in Homer’s The Odyssey. Fortunately, it won’t take you ten years to get there. Explore the enchanting caverns of the Drogarati caves, sail to Ithaca on a glass-bottomed boat or marvel at the ancient artifacts inside the Archaeological Museum of Argostoli, Cephalonia’s main town. Or just hide from it all at one of the island’s many private beach coves.

I travelled here on my own in May and straight away Alex and Costa were warm and welcoming. I had a great week staying here and the view is fantastic. The only thing is that because I didn't drive it was a bit out of the way for me but I still managed to make it work and that's my own fault because I didn't look into it enough beforehand. Mouikis do however offer a shuttle service to Argostoli so that's always worth a look. It was just all round lovely holiday.

With lovely views and a pretty setting just above Assos' square and harbor, our recently renovated modern and fresh pension is just the place to enjoy the famous pleasures of Greece. All rooms have balconies which afford splendid sea views and are furnished and decorated in a simple and modernif style. A wonderfully relaxed and pleasantly bohemian atmosphere pervades the terrace, another lovely spot from which to appreciate the view of the village and the bay spread out before you, where the owners have built a lovely swimming pool here as a finishing touch.
We loved this quirky arty room with fun furniture but most of all the views of three aspects of Assos harbour with a lovely private balcony with comfy seating. A beautiful room . Fun little steps ( or you can walk round by road 2 mins) to all the restaurants and small stony beach. Or walk up in the pine forest to castle for sunset. Lovely quiet v Greek village.

We stayed in Argostoli Hotel for 9 days. We had a great time. Clean hotel, clean rooms, good furniture. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was very convenient in terms of location, literally few minutes walk from the harbor and from the busy streets and the square where all the markets, restaurants and bars are found. Everything is nearby, and it's only a 5 minute drive/taxi to the beach. I totally recommend it especially for families.

The room seemed to be clean (not pretty sure) , small room, no elevator, it's good for one night but not for more. Low cost, low remedies, although it was really quiet. I wasn't so pleased to stay more.

Conveniently situated in the center of Argostoli on the avenue "with the palm trees", 50 m from the sea and near the central square with restaurants and shops. If you prefer independent and relaxed holidays, Blue Paradise Studios is the place to be. Our personnel is always at your disposal to assist you and the cleaning lady changes your sheets and towels and cleans the studio twice per week.
Really enjoyed our stay at Blue Paradise. It is very close to the centre of Argostoli which is great for going out for food. Rooms are basic, but met our needs and were kept nice and clean, plus the air conditioning is great. Good value for money and would thoroughly recommend. It was useful to have as a base while exploring the island and would thoroughly recommend Joyride Rent a Car for anyone looking for the same great experience.

So, the address is exactly the same but I booked Kroussos rooms, maybe the name changed. I loved the location and the view from the balcony, where we could watch people getting off from Cruise ships and beautiful yachts. It's aroun 10 minutes by feet from city center but the good thing about that is the facility for parking in front of the hotel (even in August). The rooms was super clean and they used to clean every day. The bathroom was ok but they could provide shower stall on glass instead of plastic. Natalie, the owner, is super nice and kind, and she helped me on early checkin and also printing my flight ticket (Kefalonia airport doesn't accept mobile ticket). So, I super recommend this hotel.
