Reviewed By Micmart77Idéal après une soirée blanche au Jardin d'Eyrignac à cause de sa proximité. Chambres calmes très bon marché avec un excellent petit déjeuner à la française et ses confitures maison. La literie très basse n'est malheureusement pas très confortable pour y rester plusieurs jours. Les WC et la salle de bains sont communs aux 3 chambres.

Magical from start to finish
Reviewed By Emily CEvery little detail of the Samsaget hobbit house has been carefully thought through. There are round doors; circular ceiling joinery; a rainforest shower; a basin made from petrified wood; the hobbit bunk beds; and handles made from small chunks of wood. It all made for a magical experience from start to finish. The kids loved the fact that you couldn't see the house at all from above ground, yet it was so light inside. They also loved the spa (as did we). The food provided was excellent value, copious and delicious. We want to go back: two nights was not nearly long enough.

Our 5 guest rooms overlook the river Dordogne. They allow you to spend several days or a weekend comfortably in the heart of the Perigord countryside. Spacious (they are 28 m2 each), their configuration with private bathroom and WC ensures your privacy. Satellite TV with decoder for receiving free foreign satellite channels. The icing on the cake, their private terraces will allow you to enjoy the beautiful evenings or the beautiful sunny mornings of the Périgord Noir. NB: Chèques vacances accepted. Our family lives in Port d'Enveaux since 1887!

Beautiful site and superb location
Reviewed By Louisa EStayed here for 2 weeks in August 2018 Very nice site and very well located for all the main sites (Dordogne river valley, Saralat, Lascaux, Beynac, Castelnaud, Erignac, Commarque, etc) The cabins were simple but fine for a short stay. The kitchen is small but fine to cook basic meals. A little extra storage space in the main room would be useful (a few extra shelves) & so would an electric kettle but otherwise ok. No need to bring bedlinen or towels as these were supplied. Plenty of hot water, although not much power in the shower spray. Nice activities organised all week long in the evening (cinema, circus, disco...) The main building is very lovely and overlooks the pool with its bar balcony. The pool is great for children as it had lots of shallow areas. Everything was clean A few extra parasols/sun shades in the pool area would be useful. The staff are friendly. There is a restaurant on site serving snack food & meals, we ate one night and it was good. Very happy with the site & holiday. One of our best family holidays (2 adults, 2 children 6 & 10)

Reviewed By novelita13Hôtel très bien situé à Belvès accès direct à la rue commerçante. Accueil parfait. Chambre basique mais spacieuse, lit confortable et surtout très bien isolé car on entend rien de ce qui se passe dehors. Petit point faible : un petit rafraîchissement serait pas mal (lino du sol décollé au niveau de la porte ce qui fait forcer l’ouverture et porte de douche déxacé qui fait qu’elle est très dure à ouvrir mais dans l’ensemble pour y passer une nuit c’est très bien. Chambre plus adapté à 50 € la nuit que 60€ comme j’ai payé mais bon vu le lieu touristique et la crise sanitaire cela peut se concevoir. Petit déjeuné à 8€50 un peu cher par contre.

Character house full of charm in the centre of Brantome en Perigord. Comfortable rooms, pretty garden and a swimming pool for guests. Close to restaurants, boutiques, river, the Abbey.

Reviewed By 660AlisonSBeautiful BB run my the most delightful hosts.. if you are in this area a visit is a must, nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are delightful... dont expect modern they are very chic and perfect... breakfast in the beautiful walled garden.. There is also a pool which was very much needed, will return if ever in this area again.
