We "sleep" 2 nights in the last week of Jully. Was really a bad experience. Staff is incapable to establish a silence rule. They accepte people until 11pm. If you have lucky, perhaps you can have some good time. If you don't have will be a nightmare. This campsite is for young groups! Garden around the pool was poor too. If you go in this beautiful region you can choice Yellow camping in Lagos. Is the best one.

Nice quiet area, free parking in enclosed area, swimming pool, wifi worked in room even though we didn’t expect it, very friendly reception (closes at 11pm). Breakfast: decent continental for only 5€/p. Stinky bathroom is the reason for one star removed. No restaurant onsite however there is a very good one 2 mn walk. Excellent overall for the price.

Gorgeous place, relaxing and comfortable, near one of the most underrated cities in Alentejo province, the well-preserved medieval Santiago do Cacem and its beautiful moorish castle, in addition to the roman ruins not far from this Herdade. Nights were cold but rooms are all air conditioned for summer and winter. Breakfast was great, made to order by Lurdes and Liliana who are really nice and make you feel at home. Bikes are available by the front desk, including bikes for kids. Wi-fi was free and robust. Everyone followed the official recommendations for prevention of Covid-19. I highly recommend Casas de Mirobriga.

Rooms well appointed for the rating. Breakfast was very well presented and fresh. WiFi acceptable. Very traditional building and with amazing views. Difficult to get one luggage to the hotel from the car but is s general problem

Comfy apartment, incredibly quiet. Lush vegetation, a small pool, some wildlife. And you have great beaches not far. Friendly, uncomplicated staff. Super clean. Good wifi. Highly recommended for families or couples.

Monta da Eirinha is a nice place in the country side about 18 km outside of Mertola, which is the next place to have dinner. It's a quiet place with a nice pool. The rooms are rather small but very clean with air-conditioning. Very reasonable prices. The only concern for us: Breakfast started at 9 am (al least on a Sunday) and we had to leave earlier for Faro airport. The lady, who gave us the keys to our room didn*t speak one word of English. And you better should get into contact with them in advance , if you should arrive later than 6pm

Accommodation in rural surroundings. Near access to Lisbon and Setubal. Next Arrabida and its beaches . Large rooms with Wi -Fi , refrigerator, air conditioning, flat TV . Free park even for big vehicles.
This is a small Ma and Pa hotel near the A2 but far enough away to be quiet. It is well-priced and we have stayed here three times. The owners live on the property and the property is located in a rural enclave just north of the main part of Palmela. it is a quick drive to Setúbal, to the mall or to restaurants and fast food. Very quiet, not fancy, but quite utilitarian. You are paying for a good night's sleep and not for needless extras.

Monte Beato has a strong homely feel from the moment you walk in. The place is simple but authentic with a quaint fireplace in the common area and a communal kitchen. There's honey and almonds offered which are harvested from the property (its a working farm). Breakfast is simple but satisfying. The room I stayed in (room 1) was clean and comfortable with a large bathroom. The desk is slightly uncomfortable to work on and there's no chair so doing any work means sitting at the main communal table. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back.

Xistos Agroturism includes six rooms, all with a contemporary decor inspired by traditional local handicrafts. All rooms are fitted with their own bathroom, satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and a small patio outside with views over the pool and the vast plains of the Alentejo. All rooms have central heating and are energetically sustainable.
Lovely setting, beautiful lovely architecture and decoration. Two unexpected setbacks once we arrived: no dinner service (we would have to go to the town of Beja, but didn't really want to) and no internet in the room (contrary to what was publicised). The staff were helpful, but really lacking customer care training; and the overall satisfaction depends a lot on details... - We asked for towels for the pool and were told tgat they normally don't provide them (but did give us). - We asked for proper coffee, as what they provided for breakfast was cereal "coffee". We were told that that's what they offer (but did provide us with proper coffee). - Just before leaving, we realised that the toilet brush was very dirry from previous occupants. Truly bad surprise, especially during a pandemic, when one expects rooms to be very well cleaned. We informed tge staff, who thanked us and said they would throw the brush away. No apologies made.

Amazing surroundings and cosy rooms. The staff was also very friendly and the location was amazing to visit the mountain and the beautiful beaches of Serra da Arrabida. It is very close to Setubal (by car) and an ideal location for a romantic weekend in the middle of nature.
