In the heart of the Plaine de l'Ain in Sait Vulbas, What Else Hotel welcomes you for all your business trips, long stays and discovery weekends. Let yourself be transported in an exotic atmosphere for one night, a weekend or a week with the Garden Suite or opt for a pepsy and colorful stay in one of the Business Room.
Rooms are very new, very clean, and staff if very nice. Breakfast is small, but very well done. The issue is there is no air circulation in the room. The room temperature is over 80F and getting warmer. Only one door to the room, so no way to get cooler air to move in. Would love to say here in spring or fall.

Located in the Dombes area, a renovated farmhouse located in the middle of a small modern residential area. There are two rooms: Djenné (in the main house) which can accomodate 5 people and Majorelle located in the ground floor, both with antiques and personal artistic handmade touch by the owners. Breakfast was plenty with own made marmalades with breads, cereals and fruits which can be served in the private terrace (if staying at the groundfloor room) or the outdoor tables (weather permitting) The private pond is beautiful; kids had a good time feeding the fishes and looking the ducks. Service was fine, Françoise a lovely person, pity that my French is limited, I wish I could ask more about the old stories of the area. Perouges is close for a visit (charming Medieval village, worth to stop), as well as the birds sanctuary (Parc des Oiseaux), pity that we missed because we didn’t knew it before.

Goute la vie is a little holiday place, where you can taste life in all is facilities! It is in the middle of nature with a nice view in the valley. Yo can make a lot of walkings in the area. You can also visit big cities, little middle age villages, rivers, lakes etc. The property is authentik, rural, with warm colors! The rooms are very comfortable with clean bathrooms. In every bathroom is a kettle to make thee, cafe etc. There is a great terras and a simple swimmingpool with warm water. Next to the B§B you find a little campingspot with 6 spots! Goute la vie is a paradise for children and domestic animals
Bit late posting this as I stayed over Easter w/e and had glorious sunshine. Such a tranquil setting and I could not of picked a better place to unwind and totally relax. The house is beautifully rustic with Dirk making lots of the wooden furniture, especially the huge dinning table. I’ve stayed in many many B/B’s over the years and have never experienced such a warm welcome (which continued throughout my stay). Super large warm bedroom with coffee and kettle (so rare in most French B/B’s and hotels). Do join Fennie and Dirk for evening dinner as it’s a fabulous experience. The food, company and wine is a delight. 4 courses are served (with wine if you wish to purchase a bottle). Fennie explains each course with her passion for ensuring you experience a culinary delight. On the last night Fennie cooked me Coq-au-van (Fennie style) which was wonderful, as were all the plentiful meals. Breakfast is superb with everything you could wish for to start the day. Great near by walks Lhuis is the nearest village (10 min drive) with one cafe/restaurant, a patisserie and small general grocery shop. Morestel is the nearest larger village with many shops and banks. Various galleries and other historic landmarks with lots of exhibitions on during the year. Super Tourist office with genuinely helpful staff. Le Grand Cafe was superb for lunch and a coffee later with lovely proprietors A truly remarkable short break and I’ve already booked again.

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht und wären aber gerne noch geblieben. Sehr ruhige und idyllische Umgebung. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Einfache und grosszügige Zimmer. Einfaches Frühstück in familiärer Atmosphäre.

Nichtsdestotrotz absolut empfehlenswert! Wirklich fabelhaft!

We stayed overnight at this hotel on our way from Calais to the south of France and it is well located for such a stopover, being about 3 miles off the A6 between Dijon and Lyon. As we were due to arrive very late and as reception closes at about 19:00 hours, we were advised of the code to enter the car park which was ok but the room keys were not where we were told they would be and had it not been for a kind resident in another room who came to our assistance, we would have had to leave again which was not an enticing prospect at midnight having driven for over 8 hours and nowhere else booked. Needless to say, their out of hours number was also unresponsive. So if you book there make sure you know exactly where to pick up the keys from and secondly, none of the staff spoke English which could be problematic for many.

Comfortable, small basic room with effective air conditioning. Perfect for an overnight stop. We enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. Friendly service. Ample on street parking but more limited on Sunday night, Monday is market day. Will definitely stay again.
