We were both amazed by how details they care about.And yes, we really enjoyed our stay in here. Best choice ever! Can't wait to be back soon!!!

Reviewed By Jona0497Hibiscus guesthouse is one of the coziest and most atmospheric guesthouses I have ever stayed in. Yuri and Tetsu made me feel so welcome in their house which feels so homy. The house is surrounded by flowers and green which is very beautiful. The hosts offer you to join for a homemade dinner against a small fee almost every night - and the food is amazing. They are both very interesting and knowledgeable people. If you want a hotel experience, this is maybe not the place for you. But if you want the REAL, local experience, then Hibiscus is the perfect place to stay. I loved it so much.

まさに親戚の家のようでした
Reviewed By nutty_nikon恐らくですが、ゲストハウスの管理人さんご家族と私達ともうひと組のお客さんの計3組で１つ屋根の下で過ごしていました。 リビングがとても広く、他者に気を使って隅に座る必要などないくらいのびのびと過ごせましたし、全体的に清潔で寝室も申し分なく、朝食もとても美味しかったです。 また、夕方に外食しようと話していたら管理人さんに街まで車で送っていただいたりしてとても暖かく接して下さりました。 寝室は施錠できるためプライバシーに配慮がされており、門限をきちんと守り多少の生活音に配慮さえすればコストパフォーマンスは最強だと断言できます。 lccの直行便があるので、また宿泊費込みの往復2万円旅行を計画しようと思います♪

Reviewed By miyako_annaI've had the chance to stay at Guesthouse Hanahana twice now -most recently April 2015- and plan to stay again on my next trip to Miyakojima! I love this guesthouse, had such a fantastic experience, and can't recommend it enough!!! From the moment you arrive, the staff gives a warm welcome, and are willing to show you around the island. The owner as well is kind-hearted and wants to show all the unique and beautiful experiences that Miyakojima has to offer. The owner also owns a tour company where you can try unique experiences such as a sunset cruise. The property (showers, rooms, toilets, etc.) is clean and true as shown in the photos on their website. Wifi works smoothly. Kitchen is available and fully stocked. The guest rooms with twin beds are most comfortable (as opposed to the tatami rooms). There is a bar on the property if the guests are interested. The guesthouse will rent out snorkel equipment. Free parking available. I took this trip as a single female and felt safe every moment of my stay at Guesthouse Hanahana. Part of the unique experience of a guesthouse is meeting new people, and the staff and owner here do a wonderful job of offering dinner excursion options for those guests who want to go out to eat together, coupled with the staff's knowledge of the most tasty places to eat on the island! Overall, my experience here was 100% positive. I had the option of hanging out with (all very friendly) guests and staff, spending time alone if I wanted, and I left with unique experiences and wonderful memories.

Perfect place to enjoy your staying in Miyako
Reviewed By Kirios DKausuke and all the staff treated me like a member of the family. The place is spotless, and the room are comfortable and bright. They arranged me to bring a bike on the bus to reach Cape Higashi, due to the fact that my licence was not accepted on the island (they checked it personally). Familiar environment and the kindness you need.

Reviewed By shin318Ayaguya seems to mean the honse of song. I stayed for two nights in the room with good cooling. The drinking water and coffee were for free. In addition, you can buy the can of beer for a reasonable price. The supermarket is in five minutes. The bed mattress was thick. Highly recommended! あやぐやーとは歌の家とのこと。宿泊中は冷房が効いていて、ドリンクに困らないところがいい。ゲスト同士が交流しやすいと感じた。伊良部島や下地島の拠点におすすめ。

quiet stay with warm hospitality
Reviewed By ordinary_jji stayed in the smallest room but it was spacious. the house is very clean and tidy. mr tarota san is very nice and helpful. he wrote me the pronunciation of japanese words so that i could buy the "ema" in the shrine. he personally toured me around miyako city when he was free one late afternoon bicycle and snorkeling set are free to use. but sound proof of each room is weak. noise can be heard from other rooms and above. i had better use earphone when watching you tube the location of this bnb is little up the hillside and needs to walk ~8 mins to the main streets of miyako city. if you rent a car, it is not an issue. but i traveled alone with heavy luggage and had to sort out the transportation issue.
