With its boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, Wilmslow is one of the UK's most pleasant places to be. You're nestled between the bustle of Manchester and the dairy fields of Cheshire, and if you want to go further afield, Manchester Airport is just up the road. Spot a deer or two roaming in Tatton Park. Or do some serious plane spotting at Aviation Park. Visit some big name retail stores at Trafford Centre, or keep the little ones amused at Quarry Bank Mill. Once you're done come back and relax at the hotel in our super-comfy kingsize Hypnos beds and enjoy a delicious meal at the Harvester restaurant next door.

Rooms are tired and need modifications. Heating is controlled by hotel and not by customer unfortunately our room was cold . The restaurant was very disappointing. Very little choice if Gluten free. Staff not trained to be knowledgeable about this. Service painfully slow. 1.5 hours between courses.

Absolute gem of a hotel. Dog friendly, beautiful scenery and compliments to the chef the breakfast was brilliant. The room was cosy with plenty of space plus sky movies and sports free with the room. Beautiful hotel really is a hidden gem. We will 100% be returning again.

We've lived in Wilmslow for the last 2 years and have now become regular customers at the King William because the warm welcome, service and food we receive from the team has been exceptional, consistent and faultless. Lee and his team go above and beyond to make sure you are well looked after. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, portions are fab too. They also cater for my gluten intolerance. There's live music with Zac twice a week, he's brilliant. Given all the venues in Wilmslow the King William is our go to every time. Highly recommend.

The Airport Inn Manchester is ideally located less than 10 minutes from Manchester Airport, and is one of the prime hotels near Manchester Airport, just south of Manchester city centre. The hotel offers exclusive Stay & Fly Packages which include on-site Manchester Airport Parking and for a small charge, a 24 hour taxi service, transporting you to and from the airport.
Was dreading staying the night due to some reviews here but for the price an location it want awful. Check in was smooth and quick. Our room was pleasant. Now it’s not the ritz by any means but it was clean, had air con, a powerful and hot shower and a fairly comfy bed. Maybe we got lucky I don’t know. However my only faults would be that the toilet didn’t seem to flush well. Whilst it did flush it needed some good force to flush it and hold to make sure it’s all clear. The room walls are extremely thin. We could hear the children of the family next door and all doors banging around the corridor. Once the hotel settles and get quiet for the night it’s no longer an issue as I slept well. If you’re wanting five star top notch rooms and luxuries then pay for that. You won’t find that here not for £50 a night. What you will find is a well rounded place to stay for the night with everything you could need until you’re due to fly from the airport. Whilst it’s not close to the airport it’s only £15 in an Uber or taxi called by the hotel saving tonnes of money than staying so close to the airport.

This is a really good traditional pub with suoer clean, comfortable, simple en suite rooms. All staff are welcoming and nothing seems too much trouble! Bar has a good atmosphere and the adjoining Phantong Thai restaurant is great for both lunch and dinner. There is parking here too. Great location with the centre of Wilmslow just a few short minutes walk away. Will definitely be back!

My partner and I stayed here for the night before we headed to Edinburgh. It was a great spot, fantastic hosts. Our room had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. We highly recommend this B&B, it was only a short walk away from the local pubs and restaurants which was a bonus, as we had been travelling for quite a while and didn’t want to venture out too far. We would definitely stay here again! ?
