What can I can about this amazing B&B. I have been a travel agent for 15 years , and now I work in a 5star hotel and I must say this place is something special. I did my normal 4 hour search to find the perfect place for an overnight (50th)getaway and I found it. Jonathan and Karen are the perfect hosts, and check-in was a breeze, they made us feel very special . We stayed in the deluxe King with a balcony. Omg, what a room and the most amazing view. We sat on the balcony sipping bubbles looking at the water.... Bliss. This is a real little find, it's a must. Do yourself a favor and go, we will be going soon for sure. Thank-you for an amazing stay.

We are an independent, family-run hotel renowned for excellent hospitality and quality products. Our location is on The Esplanade so perfect for the sandy beach and the town centre that is behind the hotel. We offer the option of Continental Breakfast between 8am and 10am which includes award-winning breads, fresh juices, pastries baked every morning, yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit and accompanied with Barista Coffee or Dorset Tea. There are many attractions along the Jurassic Coast easily accessible from Weymouth so The Alexandra is a great place to base yourself. We also have parking permits for Zone F close to the hotel for on-street parking for free. Both the car park and permits are subject to availability. There is a large Council-run car park called The Pavilion that is free between 6pm and 8am and is very close to the Alexandra. We have recently opened Postcards Cafe Bar where you can enjoy your favourite drink or enjoy Barista Coffee with cake and sit out on our sea-facing terrace.
This was our first stay in Weymouth. We could not have picked a better hotel to stay in. The staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is to much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable. All in all a very enjoyable stay would be happy to recommend.

I had read a lot of reviews concerning this hotel and I must admit I was wondering if I had made a mistake Well I do not know what some people expect but I was more than satisfied All the staff were very friendly The room was as expected and I know the beds are going to be ok but the shower was brilliant The only minor point was the breakfast which was busy and a slight delay in waiting for hot food However when you say unlimited breakfast people do and exhaust the goods!!

Please note: we welcome, read and value all genuine reviews but do not respond or leave comments due to the anonymity nature. Best Western Hotel Rembrandt is a real Weymouth wonder. It's the perfect place to base your visit to the beautiful and historic Dorset World Heritage Coast, and any outing in this stunning part of England is all the more enjoyable when you know you'll be returning.Located just a short stroll away from the Weymouth Esplanade and beautiful sandy beach, and the town centre, the hotel is close to a number of tourist attractions. The picture perfect country towns and villages are nearby waiting for you to explore too, so dont forget the camera!
Our room was a little dated but very comfortable, good shower in the bath. Only issue was the toilet difficult to flush in our room 261. It was extremely quiet, being at the rear but with a reasonable view. Packets of biscuits replenished daily was a bonus. The restaurant had a good menu, the quality of food was superb, particularly the breakfasts which were buffet style but well tended by a keen young chef. Only issue here was the aircon immediately over a few tables was uncomfortable and chilly. The bar was well stocked, reasonable prices, comfortable surroundings. Hotel also offers lifts to all floors, indoor pool and jacuzzi, plus an extensive car park. It is well located being only five minute walk to the sea front, 15-20 minutes from town centre, with bus stops within 50 metres offering regular services every 10-15 mins into the town centre numbers 2/10. From there the coastal services depart and the train station is nearby. We enjoyed our stay at The Rembrandt and would recommend to our friends.

The Royal is an impressive building of intricate architecture built in the ‘Free Renaissance’ style and boasting fantastic views over the beach and bay. Only a short stroll to the shops, seaside attractions and the famously beautiful harbour and marina, the location could not be better for exploring all that Weymouth has to offer. Despite its imposing structure, the Royal is enjoyed for its warm and friendly atmosphere. The hotel benefits from a games room and comfortable lounges in which to enjoy the entertainment. During the day you also have the option to relax in the public bar whilst you admire the views overlooking the bay.
Stayed here with my partner for the weekend and we had such a wonderful time, so much to do while your there. The staff at the hotel are amazing and very kind and helpful with everything we needed, and what more could you ask for when stepping out of the hotel to such a beautiful view, We shall definitely be returning. Thankyou to all the staff at the Royal Weymouth Hotel

I was fortunate enough to be gifted a 2hr total relaxing spa treatment for my birthday, I was greeted by the lovely Ellie who worked her magic for the 2hrs I was getting the treatment, I had a full body massage and a facial treatment including head massage, it was absolute heaven, Ellie was so considerate and so lovely, she even walked me over to he restaurant area where I was then given a gorgeous plate of chocolates with a happy birthday message scripted in chocolate organised by Chris and Kristian, even going above and beyond and included a glass of delicious bubbly. I left feeling completely relaxed and would fully recommend the hotel to anyone and everyone! Thank you for such a lovely morning! X

Had read the reviews before we went, so we were prepared for the worst - however we were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were all friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcome. We ate in the hotel on both nights of our stay and found the food to be hot and delicious, with generous portions. The full english breakfast was made with good quality ingredients, and again we really enjoyed the food. It is true that the hotel could do with some money being invested to smarten everything up, and that it was on the expensive side (all things considered), but it is a 16thC building after all. It is situated in a charming village with The Abbotsbury Swannery just half a mile away and the delights of Chesil Beach within a stone's throw - we had no complaints at all! Hair dryer, fan and heater in room to cope with all requirements, plenty of hot water!
