Reviewed By cgiertzCame in at about 7.30 pm after drivning 12 hours from Croatia. The hotel room was extremely hot and there were neither air condition nor fans. We could not open the windows either due to the heavy traffic right outside. The hotel itself was cozy but that didn’t help when nobody in the family could sleep...

Modernized & professional hotel and fantastic little city
Reviewed By AeskeStayed in one of the family rooms, two double beds and lots of space, crispy new interior, all functional and modern. Great restaurant - really good dinner - and breakfast have a good balanced "european" approach. Reception area combined with Tourist information I think, or perhaps just a little odd setup, but worked fine. Beautiful building, lot of parking space, and perfect location for discovering the city - what a beautiful place! We got more than what we were hoping for - credit to Schumanns Garten and Weissenfels!

Great hotel With cozy feel
Reviewed By 234tineaWe spent a night here on our way to Austria. We called them close to midnight and checked in at 00.30 am. It was hazzle free Getting a family room. Lots of space, comfortable beds and a great breakfast buffet in the morning. All in all enjoyable, and something that should have “just” been a bed to sleep in became a cozy part of the trip.

Reviewed By Shadow1986mService und Qualität des Essens sehr gut. Ambiente ist sehr schön. Allerdings wartet man ewig auf das Essen. Das muss unbedingt verbessert werden!!!! Die Portionen sind ausreichend und nicht zu groß. Wir haben das Hamburger Schnitzel, Röstibrätl und den Lachs mit Penne gehabt. In der Nähe ist auch ein Spielplatz. Des Weiteren hat das Restaurant auch einen schönen Hinterhof als Biergarten.

Reviewed By heikok1201Hallo, das Bootshaus in Weißenfeld bietet hervorragende Gastfreundlichkeit herzlich und vor allem mit einer hervorragenden Küche die Ware sehr sehr zum empfehlen ist wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen es lohnt sich ja abzusteigen zu genießen das Wasser ist direkt vor dem Fenster und man hat einen herrlichen Blick

Reviewed By Saskia1968Pros: reasonably priced, clean, close to the center but quiet location Cons: Breakfast relatively expensive and only for conventional eaters, also on the first day there was no green or black tea, which is inaccepptable in my opinion. Extremely clairaudient doors to the corridor: although we have been the only guests over the weekend, some people, very likely employees of the hostel walked up and down the corridor and talked in front of my door around 6'o'clock in the morning!!! This is really bad behavior! Absolutely a no-go! During the week mechanics supposedly rent rooms in the hostel. So I can recommend the place only for vacation guests who have either a very deep sleep or who like to get up at 6.00! Pros: Preiswert, sauber, relativ zentrale ruhige Lage Cons: Frühstück verhältnismäßig teuer und wenig kreativ, am ersten morgen fehlte einfacher schwarzer oder grüner Tee. Extrem hellhörig zum Gang: Obwohl wir über das Wochenende die einzigen Gäste waren, sind (vermutlich) Angestellte des Hostels am Sonntag vor 6.00 mehrmals durch den Gang gelaufen und haben sich vor meiner Zimmertüre unterhalten, sodass ich aufgewacht bin. So etwas finde ich ein absolutes No go!!!! Unter der Woche wohnen hier Monteure, sodass der normale urlaubsgast, der nicht schon um 6.00 aufstehen möchte, hier besser nicht absteigt. Fazit: für Leute mit sehr gutem Schlaf oder Frühaufsteher preiswertes Hostel

No service - many mosquitoes
Reviewed By FlannhartHad booked 2 single rooms for 1 night. Arrived at 15.00 to a locked door – a note at the door gave a phone number to call, then someone would be there within 15 minutes. We called, and after almost 25 minutes someone did arrive. We got our keys, and was told, that they worked with our rooms, back door and outer gate – all other doors would be locked – so we had no access to the sitting/dining room! Restaurant not present - just a room I guess is used for breakfast. We had wanted to have breakfast the following morning, but was told, it wouldn´t be served until 8:30, and we wished to leave no later than 8, so this was not possible. When we asked for early check out, we were told, that checkout was at 11….this was for us not acceptable, so we asked where to put the keys – were told to leave them in our doors ( wich made our departure extremely complicated as we needed the key to unlock the gate, so a trip back and forth was necessary ) The building had a really bad smell, and although the rooms looked clean, the smell was awfull! Room A was on the ground floor – it was cold as a fridge. Room B was on the first floor, and was hot as a sauna – and filled with mosquitoes – my houseband spend 2 hours before bedtime killing bugs, but to no effect – he was unable to sleep, and counted 20 bits when he left. He ended up waking me up at 4:30, asking if we could leave. After a VERY short shower – my room only had a 15 liter water heater in the shower! – we left the place at 5:15. This was the worst place we have ever spend a night, and we would never recommend this place to anybody – even the truck stops along the freeway has a higher standard! A review on Tripadvisor mentioned a quiet stay. Well the surroundings were quiet (saturday/sunday) but the building was a very noisy concrete building. I could hear people walk around and talk. I even heard notifications on the neighbours phone
