The apartment was very clean and very comfortable. Containing nice and clean bath room and functional and well equipped kitchen with all required stuff. There are two things: 1. there is no English channel at the TV. 2. We got a room with two beds instead of one bed. The reception girls where very helpful in suggesting on what to do and where to go and had maps - even in English! There spoken English was well. When we where there in the middle of August we had a winter day with lots of rain and they had good advises on what to do as well what not to do due to the rain and the slippery roads. The main street is very close and one can find there restaurants and other shopping stores. We enjoy our stay there very much.

We stayed for a week whilst skiing in Baqueira (a 15/20min drive away). The hotel is conveniently placed in the centre of Vielha within walking distance of the bars and restaurants. There is a big free car park just in front. The hotel rooms are of a good size, the beds are comfortable and bathrooms have plenty of space but the decor is dated and the corridors are very tired looking. Buffet breakfast was plentiful but not very varied and the cooked food was often cold. There was confusion at reception about our booking on our arrival and we were forced to send emails to resolve the issue rather than the hotel dealing with the booking agent. Not a good start. Then the day after we arrived the bedrooms in our corridor were filled with very noisy unsupervised schoolchildren. We requested new rooms but then I had to miss a day skiing to pack and move all our belongings as they would not give me the option of moving in the evening. Then on our penultimate morning there was no hot water throughout the hotel. No apology or explanation from the hotel. The spa was still closed in the evening. This hotel was just OK and needs some renovation work.

Not a bad place to stay... Built for the ski season, the hotel was running with a skeleton staff during our stay but they made do. The restaurant is ok, with some dishes actually quite nice - but the portions are massive. Steer clear of the "Pate" starter..... Strange grey meat that very clearly was dropped onto the plate like cat food.... The Spa however was really quite nice with indoor and outdoor pool and hot-tubs. Was a little disappointed at the high additional cost to use the spa area, given that we had booked x4 rooms for the night, it cost us around 90 Euros to use the spa - which is excessive. Rooms are plain but comfortable. Upon arrival we thought the outside of the place looked a bit old and dilapidated - but the inside décor is much nicer than we expected. Would still probably stay here again if in the area.

Large hotel with lovely views. The reception staff were very informative about the local area. The hotel itself does need a bit of an update but the everywhere was clean and the rooms were OK. Views were very good from the room. The breakfast was lovely and a good selection and the evening meal was very well presented and plentiful. If you are looking for a good value place to stay I would definitely recommend this hotel. There is quite a lot to see in this area, I wish we had spent more time here.

On arrival I realised this was not going to be a good hotel looking at it from the outside. The hotel in the summer is so hot it's beyond any kind of Joke!!. This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I realised they didn't have aircon when we booked but did expect a fan. When asked for a fan they said we don't have any but you could go and buy one, what!!. The hotel is generally dirty and repairs are few and far between. The beds are cheap and very uncomfortable. I would not be able to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is basic but clean and in a great location within walking distance of the town centre. It must be noted however that the rooms don't have air conditioning or a fan and when we were there even with the window open we had a restless night because of the heat. We had no water in our rooms for the entire stay, and staff just shrugged their shoulders when we enquired about it, saying it was a commune problem. Interestingly enough there was water in the reception toilet! We never found out whether it was a pressure problem as we were on the 4th floor that is permanent or we were just unfortunate to be staying there when the water was off. We did feel however that on check in we should have been advised of the no water situation, instead they insisted on full payment on arrival and of course there was no one on reception in the morning when it was time to leave. I would definitely recommend checking you room is in working order before paying in full. The hotel might be cheap, but it could be worth paying a little more elsewhere to get water to shower in!
