Fru Haugans Hotel has a long history and is located in the heart of Mosjoen close to the old part of town, the Sjogata Street. Short way to the airport and the railwaystation.
Small Deluxe room with disappointing facilities and view
Reviewed By Blue BThe facilities of this room are disappointing: according to the hotel website it should include “a view”, a minibar and on Booking.com this room should have “a tea/coffee maker and tea kettle”. There is no minibar, only a empty mini fridge. There is no tea/coffee maker, only a water heater, so you can not make coffee. The view is most disappointing: yes, there are 2 windows, but that doesn’t mean you have “a view”. Our view (room 401) from both sides was to a parking and not so nice buildings on the main street. We could not see any of the fjord or river (like the pictures on the website suggest). Unfortunately this also meant I woke up quite early because of all the noise of cars and trucks passing by (I like to sleep with the window open). About the size of the room: the room is not as spacious as the pictures and description on the hotel website suggest: “This spacious, light-filled Deluxe room will comfortably accommodate up to four guests.” Well: if you would, you would have to walk over the unfolded sleeping couch and I don’t know where you would have to leave the table (room 401 is a square corner room). I would nog recommend to stay in this room with more than 2 people (but book 2 seperate rooms).

Expensive, Old and worn out
Reviewed By 902mettelThe photos on the web site are lying. The rooms are old and worn out. Bad beds, very warm room and impossible to open the window properly. Very expensive for this quality. Choose another hotel. Not recommended at all.

Nice campsite, easy to find and some camping places are just beside the traffic road.

We arrived there around kl 20.00 and the campsite are already full and we got the spot just beside the road at the back of the service building. The noice from the traffic never bothered us. Kitchen facility is ok and they have some tables and chairs you can use to dine. Toilet and showers are not the best but acceptable.

Gut ausgestattete, moderne Unterkunft
Reviewed By Brigitte_HeinzDiese neue, moderne Unterkunft vermochte uns sofort zu begeistern. Alles war zeitgemäss eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten findet man nur ein paar hundert Meter vom Hotel und auch das charmante Städtchen mit seinen vielen Restaurants kann bequem zu Fuss erreicht werden. Die vier Gemeinschaftsküchen sind quietschsauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Geschirrspüler stehen überall zur Verfügung, mindestens zwei Küchen sind mit einer Eiswürfelmaschine eingerichtet. Ganz Besonders schätzen wir es, dass in einer Küche sogar eine Espressomaschine samt Kaffee zur Verfügung steht. Waschmaschinen und Wäschetrockner runden das gute Angebot ab. Schade fanden wir nur, dass unser Doppelbett etwas gar eng war. Der freundliche Eigentümer hat aber auf nächstes Jahr ein paar Zimmer mit breiteren Betten versprochen und unser Zimmer spontan so um-möbliert, dass das enge Teil nicht mehr direkt an der Wand stand.

Bad med store mangler, ikke egnet for eldre
Reviewed By mortens951Jeg overnattet i Jernbanegata 2A sammen med min kone natt til 19.august. Et svært dårlig bad ødelegger helhetsopplevelsen min, rommet ellers er bra. Likevel kunne det godt vært 2 stoler i stedet for 1, vanskelig for eldre folk å sitte i senga når en ikkr sover! Så til badet: Det virket veldig uferdig. Vaskekranen manglet en del som gjorde at vannet sprutet ut på golvet. Dusjveggene var feilmontert slik at mye av vannet rant ut på golvet. Det var i tillegg feilmontert oppheng for dusjen. Jeg er ikke pirkete når jeg skriver dette. Rommet vårt egner seg ikke for eldre mennesker. Vi bodde i rom 8 i andre etasje.

Good 1 Night Stay
Reviewed By AtlaRGood hotel but a little aged, easy to find, clean inside and out. Staff were very helpful and hospitable. Good customer service. Good location. Would definitely recommend for a night stop over. Breakfast was quite good especially the waffles.

Reviewed By JanOskarEriksenIforhold til prisen kan jeg ikke klage. Rommet var av eldre dato, men det var reint på rommet. Badet hadde nok trengt oppussing. Enkelt å sjekke inn på hotellet med kode på sms. Fikk en god natt søvn på hotellet. Merket ikke noe til trafikk støy.

Reviewed By GlobeTrotting28582Vi møtte noe forvirrede personal da vi ankom. De var hyggelig tross dette. Lite tiltalende møblering på rommet, men rommet opplevdes som rent. Det var et lite kjøleskap på rommet samt tv. Seng oppredd med bare en dyne. Den andre dyna var oppe på et klesskap. Denne dynen var tynnere enn dyna som var på sengen fra før. Kun et nattbord. Sengen var satt kloss inntil veggen på siden uten nattbord. Man måtte klatre for å komme seg ut av sengen på høyre side. Sigarettlukt og skravling fra dem som sto nedenfor og røykt, selv om vi hadde lukket vinduene. Badet hadde ikke lys, måtte få betjeningen til å skifte til nytt lysstoffrør. Dusjkabinett hadde flere mangler. Døren til kabinettet hang og slang. To dusjhoder i dusjen. Manglet dusjhode på den ene dusjen. Dette skapte litt forvirring og latter. Ingen holder til toalettpapir. Ingen sted å henge håndklær på badet. Matsalen manglet totalt sjel. Førsteinntrykk av matsalen var at den var svært lite hyggelig. Rommet var nærmest mørkt. Lyset svakt blått lys fra lysstoffrør. Gjester måtte be om å få mer lys. Frokost var enkel, det er i utgangspunktet egentlig helt greit, men oppsettet av pålegg og div. annet var under all kritikk. Det manglet tallerkener, noen gjester måtte lete i skap for å finne dette.
