The owner is very friendly. Rooms are comfortable but bathrooms should be refurbished. They are from the nineties. Shower is not functionnal, showercabin is narrow. In one room there's a water matress which the owner is very proud on. What a strange idea! Breakfast is nice but don't stay too long you could be disturbed by early and noisy cleaning

I have stayed here two prior times over the past 12 years. I had a very nice, large apartment and my friend had a nice room. Everything seemed upgraded and nice. We ate breakfast and dinner there all days. Herr Schneemann is a wonderful chef and the food was outstanding. He paired the foodwith excellent local wines. He and his daughter speak very good English, which made everything easy for us. We were taking trains and he took us to the train station in Cochem this morning. We will definitely be back in the next few years to enjoy everything again. We highly recommend this place.

The most important for us is the cleanliness of the hotel bedroom as well the bathroom and where we can have a very good sleeping night. This hotel can offer all these points. The breakfast is also considered good.

We spent a weekend at this hotel and you get value for money with this property. We booked from a Groupon and I was not expecting much given the reviews. However, I was totally impressed with the stay. The staff were professional and courteous, the room was huge and had been remodeled. The view to the river was nice and it even had a small balcony. We had half board and the meals were buffet but well presented and tasted great. There was a wine tasting at 20:00 on the evening we arrived and a distillary visit from the local spirits distillary in this small village. The location is a 5 min drive to Cochem and this a major tourist spot on the Mosel from Trier to Koblenz. Really could not fault the hotel. --Bedding - nice and comfortable --Wifi - Strong --Food - excellent --Parking- in front and plentiful --Extras - Included (wine tasting and distilary visit) --Proximity to beautiful sites on the Mosel and bike path - Great spot One little point for improvement. The bathroom light is on a short timer based on motion. I would probably change it out or have a switch to give the guests the option to turn the motion sensor feature off. As it stands, the light goes off within about 10 seconds if it does not detect motion. All in all, would recommend and will come back. Thanks Hotel Fritz for a Warm Welcome and Nice Weekend, even on a cold March Weekend.

Really nice, friendly hosts. Guest house is in a quiet location only 3km from noisy Cochem. Very clean and tidy, we felt very welcome and had a great stay. Look no further...just book your stay here. The rates are good too!

The landlady, was very helpfull and so Friendly. Breakfast was splendid, great variety and all fresh produce. We were fortunate to have a terrace, overlooking the Garden which was very nice. All the landmarks and pictoresque villages nearby. Parking lot in front of our B&B Such a nice place that we intend to go back.in near future.

This was our first holiday in the Moselle region. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. This hotel was very good for its rooms, breakfasts and location. There is also a very good restaurant but it is not open every day. A family run hotel, the hospitality was of the highest order. It was also excellent value for money.
