Reviewed By CrewreviewsWe only stayed for one night but we would definitely return! Can walk to the lifts of La Colmiane. Parking on site. Apartments are no frills at all. But the owners are so welcoming and kind. We ate at their restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and made on the spot. Only thing I would say is they need some Prosecco and a some Chardonnay. Views are great. Even have a heated storage locker for our ski gear. We will return without a doubt!

Expensive but worse hotel
Reviewed By Worldnature-photosWhen we arrived nobody tells us that we have to reserve for dinner. So we had almost no dinner that evening. Restaurant is not open for lunch for guest as written on the website. We had a very small room nothing to compare with the photos on the website . Only a simpel bed with a smal pilow. 1 chair on the room and a very small balcony. When we got the second day dinner the owner was going to bring somebody to town and nobody was there to serve us. The owner tells everything about his expensive lodges ( 3 x )in Bali but if he handle is guest like us ...... Also in our room you hear the motor of the airco unit and the . Breakfast is very expensive for what you get. ( 3 type of jam, juice and coffee 2 bread )

Traditional inn, very good value for money
Reviewed By Sue FThis was a lovely old inn family run. There is plenty of parking space. The owner made us very welcome and spoke good English. We were quite happy about the two large dogs but it might not appeal to everybody. Our room was a good size with a balcony and adequate bathroom, all very clean. Our evening meal was excellent and the staff very friendly. Also we enjoyed a hearty breakfast. All in all a lovely overnight stay in lovely scenery.

The Chalet is located just an hour from the Côte d’Azur, in the hills around La Colmiane, on the borders of the Mercantour National Park.Guests have the choice of a double bed (160cm x 200cm), twin beds or bunk beds. Each room has bedside tables and wardrobe, plus en suite facilities, with toilet, wash basin and either a bath or a shower.
O what a lovely place
Reviewed By Richard BRun by Christine and Luc, but not in winter, this is a spotless, friendly home from home. Regretfully we weren't able to confirm dinner due to our travel arrangements but would advise others to do so as the home cooked fare is delightful, as we discovered at breakfast. Our room was a good size and comfortable and the view stunning. Thank you.

The cottage anduebis, on the road of great alps, in a medieval village of mercantour park, has one hour of nice. It consists of three spacious and comfortable rooms, king size bed, flat tv, bathroom and Independent apartment with terrace and private entrance.nature preserved, calm and serenity.
Lovely place to stay
Reviewed By InsightfulTraveler81I strongly recommend this place. We booked the studio (with 2 kids): there is a lot of space, it's very clean and cosy ! The owners are lovely and always willing to help. They love their job and take very good care of their house. La Colmiane is very close (5 min by car) and the area is beautiful !

Les chambres du Presbytere du Val is equally small and relaxed with its "mountain ambiance". Rooms are few and small but standard is high. The choice of the area.

Reviewed By SSCC2014We had a great stay here, Veronique was very welcoming, the room was great and the breakfast superb. The location is wonderful with spectacular views and a bar and restaurant just a few steps away. We will be back!
