A great location and the friendliest of staff make this a hotel I would be keen to go back to in the future

The staff were amazing - genuinely couldn't have been more friendly and helpful if it was a 5* hotel. The breakfasts were great, with a really good selection of hot & cold food, pastries etc. The Rugby was on, and they setup a room with a big TV and a fire, and brought beer and snacks :) Location was great - <5 min walk to the central lifts, and near bars/apres-ski.

Excellent hotel

Reviewed By Steve B

Just returned from a fantastic week in La Toviere. The location is excellent, about 150m from the lifts up from La Daille. Access to Val d’Isere centre is either a 25 minute walk or a short bus ride on the free bus that departs every 3 or 4 minutes - it really is that frequent!! The hotel is 4* in every respect but what stood out for us was the staff. They were superb, always smiling and nothing was too much trouble, from reception to bar staff to the restaurant staff - all were brilliant! Last but by far means least, the food was top notch. Always generous portions of delicious starters, main course and dessert! This is beginning to read like an advert for La Toviere but I would add that I ski three/four times a year, often in Val d’Isère but also in other resorts and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel

The best staff ever

This modern hotel in the main road has everything you need for an enjoyable ski holiday . Ski hire , boot room and a 3 minute shuttle bus to the slopes very close by ) . A spa , ample size pool , 2 hammans , 2 hot tubs and 2 saunas It’s value for money compared to other , older , more traditional 5 star hotels . The decor is a little bland and the dining area fairly basic . I’m not sure if I would rate the hotel 5 star or 4 . The rooms have everything and good size bathroom ( Tv in bathroom , we didn’t use ). Nespresso machine was in room , slipper , robes etc . And high end l’0ccitane amenities. But the thing that made our stay so special , was the staff . The dining staff were so friendly and eager to please as was everyone . They have a large bar there and the bar tender could make any cocktail we asked for , perfectly . We looked forward to our evening drinks after ski ing .After the first day, the staff remembers you and can’t do enough to please . Despite lacking the normal sophistication of a 5 star hotel in same area, I actually found it much more relaxed and walking to breakfast in slippers and ski pants , was quite normal . The price ( always high in ski areas ) was definitely more reasonable compared to 5 star hotel nearby .

Excellent hotel in a perfect location

PROS: Rooms are clean and modern Breakfast is better than average. Staff exceptionally helpful All facilities are provided Location is exceptional CONS: Gym was a little sparse. Needed a few free weights, bars, and benches to be comprehensive, and in keeping with the general standard of the rest of the hotel no tea/coffe facilities in room, BUT staff rapidly provided a kettle. Had to call daily for a cup.
