Not good enough for a 5 star hotel
Reviewed By Jimi1000I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It is pretty much brand new and there was a good selection of toiletries. The housekeeping was generally good. I do think that the night time turn down could be better though. Just the little things to make this a 5 star. The staff were generally very friendly. Breakfast was good and there was a good selection at the buffet. The hotel is built on different levels so to go to floors 7/8 you need to take 3 lifts. Not sensible if you have trouble walking. So the things that bothered me: 1. The location is really not good enough. The hotel is right in front of the harbour where there are constant cruise ships and constant ferries dropping off passengers from other ports. I felt as though the photos on the website were deceptive. We did not have a good view of the sea and stayed in an Ambio Retreat room. All we got was a view of the top of someone else’s room. Very disappointing when you’ve paid so much money. The hot tub was tiny and not as shown on the photo. 2. Very expensive. €10 for a coffee and €25 for a salad. Too much and not worth it. On top of that the blatant request for tips is so grating. Even at the check out the reception ask for a tip. I found that a disgrace. No one should have to tip on top of a huge hotel bill. Having the credit card machine thrusted in your face is unprofessional and takes the edge off the experience. 3. The pool is way too cold. The plastic from the “pool umbrellas” just falls into the pool and you feel as though you are swimming through hair. It’s disgusting. 4. The main restaurant is empty. Might be the price although it might be the location. Feels very odd. 5. I felt the staff were not great at suggesting restaurants which were good value. A lot of the restaurants they suggested were grossly overpriced and not at all worth the money. Felt ripped off and angry which actually made me upset at the hotel staff. 6. The thermo pool at the spa had a €30 charge for 45 mins. Just odd when you are spending so much money at a 5 star hotel. 7. The gym is small but reasonably well equipped. However they have mats which have no cushioning. Protein shakes are €25. Again a total rip off. 8. They have a shuttle going to the old town from 7/8pm. That is a pity. They should have a shuttle in the day too. It’s only ever hour. They could run it every 30 mins. I would not go back but feel sad for the hotel as they could do so much better. Make this better value for people. Small touches could hugely improve this hotel.

Big selling point was the free transfer from airport to hotel and then hotel to port.. we were delayed getting through customs but the driver waited. The following morning waiting again, bang on time to take us to the port and took the trouble to check the ferry time table and deliver us to the exact part or the port and share the revised arrival time of the boat. As we were staying one night only we had the most basic room but it was still nice with a really modern bathroom. Pool is good. On site restaurant did a nice salad lunch. Veal steak for dinner was great and breakfast was also good. Covid safe with masks, hand gel and gloves at breakfast. We would definitely stay again

Amazing stay in Mykonos!!

They’re constantly asking if they can do anything to make your stay better and offer many amenities free of cost including air port and ferry shuttles for your arrival and departure. The room was super clean and comfortable and the common areas are super cute and inviting. Completely blew out already high expectations out of the water! Thanks for a great stay :)

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at
Reviewed By gabrielarR1817ZUFirst of all, this hotel is so misleading. We arrived and were told the price would be $80 euros more per person, if more than 2 people. Nowhere was this written in their terms when booking. Second, George was so rude and wouldn’t help us sort out this issue. The room was dirty, and they provided one cup, one mug, basically one of everything. The bed was as hard as a rock and the sofa bed was so gross. Avoid at all costs. Definitely not worth the price and you’re far away from Mykonos town.

Reviewed By Romain ANice welcome with a glass of orange juice. Rooms are not well isolated one from each other. We would hear the other doors closing at night. Overall experience was fine with a very low price compare to the average on Mykonos

Family Holiday
Reviewed By shonam1806Couldn't fault anything. We were met by the owner upon arrival who showed us to our apartments and said if we needed anything just to give him a shout. He also told us about the nearest supermarket if we needed anything they would deliver for a minimum spend 50 Euros. We purchased the bed and breakfast option when we booked, our fridge was re stocked with breakfast supplies every couple days! The villa was equipped with a toaster,kettle, toastie machine, hob, oven and crockery. The apartment was cleaned by two lovely ladies every three days along with fresh bedding and towels. The views from the villas are amazing both day and night, there's so much going on with ferries and different cruise ships docking every morning. The walk into Mykonos town was about 30mins or you can get the sea bus for 2 Euros. Adikri villas and studios is situated up a hill which is a struggle but worth the views all day everyday!!! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning soon..

Reviewed By Travelisinmyblood22Well I can not recommend this authentic Greek Hotel enough I would like to start with ALAX front of house reception he could not do enough for us he went over and beyond for all out needs Mr Paul and miss Eileen this man is a true gentleman and made us feel so welcome the older lady who name i never got seen to all our need breakfast was outstanding and catered for a range of foods for all needs hot and cold breakfast was available the beautiful large room was spotless and cleaned every day yes their is a bit of a hill but it over looks the port and a taxi is no problem I can not wait to come back to this beautiful Greek hotel thank you alax again for everything 10/10 ?

The location couldn’t be better, a short 5 minute walk to the water taxi takes you to old town for 2euro, leaving you to explore the amazing streets and restaurants that delight. The staff are beyond helpful and the rooms are spotless. We enjoyed great views of the sea, a feast for the eyes morning and at night. The breakfast was amazing, hot and cold, a really wonderful selection of fresh food. A great bar and pool area offers peace to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The towels smell so good and readily available on a daily basis. This place was so good, we’re going back in September!!
