Amazing and memorable trip
Reviewed By ashokp907Yet again, Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve didn't disappoint. Each time, it gets better. This time, with friends from India, we stayed at the luxury tents and found it perfect. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. The restaurant manager, Jeetesh, took extra care to get us vegetarian options. The staff was warm and courteous. Our night tour to watch green turtle laying eggs was wonderful under a galaxy of stars and cool breeze blowing across. We were fortunate to watch the turtles laying eggs. Our guide Hamad Al Amri gave us good information and his understanding and turtles of the turtles was very useful for us. Overall, it was a great evening. The Morning visit to watch turtles was successful with the sunrise providing us an amazing feeling on the lovely beach. A sumptuous breakfast followed, which meant that we carry wonderful memories of the visit again. Thanks to all of Ras Al Jinz staff and the hard working team at Omran, who are taking great efforts in promoting Oman tourism.

Reviewed By GeorginaT334We booked this stay last minute during a trip to Sur. We were upgraded for free to an executive suite upon arrival which was a very large room with a lovely sea view. We were also offered espresso when we arrived which was very lovely. Apart from a slightly broken TV and very small leak in the bath, the stay was very good and perfect for a good nights rest before heading to Wadi Bani Khalid

Reviewed By lupus72It has clean and very spacy rooms, big essential bathroom. Has a common kitchen that can be used by 2-3 rooms (it is divided like apartments). Personnel friendly and efficient, very accommodating. Not really located in central position, but good if having a car, in 3 minutes you reach the city centre.

Simple, Waterfront Location, Large Suite
Reviewed By hkg2009hkgThis is a good place for a simple night along Sur's waterfront road a short drive from the city's sights. I had a 2 bedroom suite which was large and had 2 bathrooms with plenty of hot water. A fridge, hot plate, and microwave were in the kitchen. Staff are friendly and there are dining options next door, including an Arabian restaurant next door serving good food at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the windows are a bit thin and the road outside gets quite busy late into the night, so street noise was a problem.

Reviewed By Aloba3591We stayed 4 nights in Zaki apt. and we got a big room, n° 303. The staff were kindly, helpul like mr Saju, but a special mention to the manager Mr A. Rahnan. He was so kindly to let me use , at night, twice, for one hour each, the computer of the office, for my work. The breakfast was poor of sweeties and only the 3rd day we got a yogourt. They must improve the breakfast. Gppd position, walk distance from cornice. Ivanromeo.

Reviewed By Hege KOnly positive thing to say about this place - it is easy to find and the rooms are spacious. But what do you need two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a kitchen for when they are so dirty and worn down that you really don't want to go there? Same goes for the furniture - the beds are partly covered in plastic. Parts not covered are so dirty it is hard to believe... AC works - sort of, but is extremely noicy. And cocroaches the size of a grown mans thumb does not make the stay more pleasant... if you are in need for breakfast there is no coffe shop nearby, you will need a car. The supermarket across the high way opens at 9. Plan better than we did - perhaps there are better places to stay if you need to visit Sur.

Good accomodation but sadly Sur disappointing
Reviewed By T000ksWe had a very friendly greeting by two members of staff. Plenty of parking in a quiet part of Sur. Good restaurant within easy walking. Staff tried hard to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The apartments were very basic. The bed was too hard (and I like a firm bed) and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Good value for money

Upon arrival the staff was friendly but not available straight away, I had to wait about 10 minutes until someone came to welcome us. Staff is well able to give directions to town or to the turtle beach. Near the hotel you find the Fort of Sur located on a small hill, and a hypermarket around as well. Tthere is no breakfast or any other meals served. Would stay again if I would travel again with 3 others, otherwise not.
