British Columbia's Sunshine Coast does seem to get more than its fair share of great weather, plus breathtaking scenery and friendly coastal villages to discover. The beaches are best in summer, but the natural beauty is year-round. Travelers rave about swimming while gazing up at the mountains, or just relaxing in a romantic B&B while the setting sun paints a canvas of color over the water.

Hotel guests can enjoy the unique charm and character of each of the 7 rooms. An eclectic mix of antiques and collectibles adorn the rooms and halls reminding guests of the days gone by. Enjoy a Free Brunch Tuesdays - Sundays, 9am-1pm at Edie Rae's Cafe with your overnight stay (note cafe closed Mondays and rooms have been discounted on Sunday). Our guests can also take comfort in the modern Amenities of today. We welcome you into our Unique Little Heritage Hotel.
Stayed at the Courthouse for four nights… Pros: interesting historical building with many antiques decorating the halls and rooms. Good breakfast included in the room price with friendly, efficient service. Cons: We were there for four nights. Housekeeping never once made up our room, made our beds, emptied garbage, etc. We’ve never experienced that lack of service in a hotel.

Friendly staff introduced us to the resort facility and nearby restaurants. Clean and comfortable resort hotel. Our room was not that sound proof, we can hear neigbour walking and coughing in their room. Many hiking trails and restaurants nearby.

Surround yourself with the natural beauty of the West Coast at the Beach Gardens Resort & Marina. Enjoy the panoramic view of Malaspina Strait, the entrance to Desolation Sound. Deluxe Room Amenities • Located in our new, non-smoking 48-suite building • Coffee maker, hairdryer, TV, as well as air conditioning, private decks with a fabulous ocean view, and high-speed internet • Deluxe rooms with queen size beds • Wheelchair accessible room
Out of town a bit so not easy to get to stores or any shops . Docks were in good shape no service down there need to walk up and pay . Water really drops at a low tide so be warned not that you will hit bottom but makes it tricky to get out depending on where you tie . Nothing special here

The Driftwood Inn is centrally located in Sechelt, the heart of the Sunshine Coast. We are on the waterfront only a few feet away from the beach. We offer a variety of rooms including standard doubles and king rooms plus waterfront rooms and suites. Our restaurant named Pebbles serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and specializes in west coast cuisine. We also have a meeting/function room that can seat up to 55 persons. We are close to shopping, banks and many recreational activities in the region.
The location is as good as it gets. Right on the beach, with a lovely area for walks. Also, close to the centre of town. The rooms are worn and dirty. The fridge very noisy. Walls thin enough to listen to the neighbours talking. The room had a strong odour of many previous guests. On the plus side the rate was very reasonable at $109. per night. The new lady at the front desk was courteous.

Then look no further than Townsite Heritage Society (0.1 mi), which is a popular Powell River attraction – and it is conveniently located within walking distance of the small hotel. Enjoy your stay in Powell River!
We recently stayed at the hotel with our extended family and the customer service was next to none. This family goes above and beyond to accommodate everyone’s needs. This place has a spectacular view from the rooms and a place to sit an relax outside to enjoy the sunset. Not the newest of buildings but the rooms were comfortable especially the beds. We had a great nights sleep. It is across the street from a cafe and close to a couple of restaurants. Also walking distance to the Willingdon beach walking trail. It sits in the historical district which is quiet and a great place to walk around. The ferry terminal and the main shopping area is only 5 km away by car. I would highly recommend this hotel for value, comfort and customer service.

A scenic 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver, situated on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Up The Creek Backpacker's Lodge is 14km from the ferry terminal at Langdale. It is a charismatic, family-run cedar house nestled amongst many large cedar and fir trees, and is an easy 10-minute walk to the "Heart of the Roberts Creek". The lodge includes a guest kitchen, large sun-deck with hammocks and barbecue, friendly common areas, free loaner bikes, boardgames, and a resource library and book swap. You will have the choice to stay in our 7 bed-dorm Arbutus, or in one of our 3 private rooms: the Fir room (up to 4 people), the Cedar room (up to 5 people), and our lovely Cherry Cabin situated in our garden (up to 2 people). We are the only hostel situated on the lower Sunshine Coast - and you can stay with us from only $28 per night! So come and enjoy a rest in the Creek, but be aware, you'll want to stay longer!
Up the Creek hostel is everything a hostel should be. Comfy, cozy, homely and hospitable. Located in the small village of Robert's Creek, we stayed for three nights and loved everything from the clean kitchen to the comfy bed in the cedar room and the common areas. The owner & manager, Martin and Mel are welcoming and kind to all and have lots of good advice about adventures and activities nearby. The property has the feeling of a heritage house with lots of different spaces to be comfortable no matter what you're seeking - indoors, outdoors, public or private. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything guests might need and a generous fridge. As well, the hostel has a genuine commitment to recycling and environmentalism which is refreshing! Bikes and towels are included in the nightly rates but you will have to bring your own toiletries. Bathrooms are shared by all guests, even those with private rooms but renovations are coming soon. Parking is onsite but buses and shops are a short walk away. We would highly recommend visiting gumboot cafe and the library next door (where we found some great books for sale). Highly recommended and we will do our best to return!!

We booked this property based on reviews and a few photos. The photos do not do Pacific Suites justice!! This was a very pleasant surprise all around. The property consists of 5 suites above a upscale grocery store. There is parking very close to the suites, and the property is immaculate. You check in and out at the grocery store, and the staff there are universally first class friendly. The room we had, 201, consists of 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen/living room and a good sized bathroom. There was a dishwasher, microwave and large fridge in the suite, along with a large TV and kitchenette. Air conditioning and blazing fast internet rounded out the package. We also had a view of the ocean from the suite. Overall, an excellent stay that I have already recommended to some family members. You will not be disappointed!!

A unique resort offering a deluxe waterfront motel overlooking beautiful Sechelt and Jervis Inlets. This BC Tourism Approved facility provides a wheelchair accessible suite, rooms with kitchenettes, balconies, voice mail and free internet service, and a fully stocked general store with convenience items, groceries, and hardware and fishing supplies. They can also arrange boat tours to Princess Louisa Inlet. Additional services include a laundromat and boat rentals. Besides abundant fishing, the Egmont area provides easy access to world class scuba diving, sea kayaking, white water rafting at Skookumchuck Rapids, biking, hiking, photography and of course, west coast wildlife viewing. We are a starting point for two world-famous sites - two blocks to Skookumchuck Trail entrance, and at head of beautiful Princess Louisa Inlet.
Reserved hotel room and boat 6months ago, full charge Credit card, but when I arrive only room available. boat over booked. waste our time. they only refund 75% room charges, very bad experience . will never go there again!

Some of the things about this place which in the listing are supposed to be here are: Wifi, most of the time did have any, Restaurant not open, bar not open, housekeeping none. E only saw a staff member once in three days. No front desk staff at any time. Our room was musty smelling and the bathroom walls and ceiling were moldy. I would definitely not recommend this place.
