With magnificent views overlooking the Koppies and Valleys, Daisy Country Lodge is truly an oasis in this semi desert area. Namaqualand is known for its spring flowers, rare succulents, unique indigenous plants, rich history, hospitality, unreal rock formations and the Richtersveld. We are only one hours drive from the Namibian border and nearly half way between Cape Town, RSA and Windhoek, Namibia. With lots to do and see at Daisy, Springbok and the surrounding areas, this is a destination worth visiting over a few days. Bring the kids for a relaxing break in a farm style environment, where you can take walks in the surrounding Koppies, cycle, ride horses or run freely in the valleys. After a day full of fun and adventure, you can relax at our pool or just enjoy the brilliant stars and fresh unpolluted air. This picturesque establishment is wheelchair friendly.
We were fortunate to have found and stayed at Daisy Country Lodge. We were a family of 20 people that came up from Cape Town and stayed there for a weekend for my brother's wedding, and we liked every minute of it. I booked the rooms months in advance and Madre was very accomodating from start to finish. I had a few special requests from family members and Madre was helpful on every one of them. The rooms are very nice, immaculate neat and tidy, and furnished with everything you need. The breakfast buffets was 5star every morning. Madre and her team went beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and have a pleasant stay. I wish them all the best for the future.

Springbok lies in a narrow valley surrounded by the Koperberg mountains, in the heart of the Namaqualand, 570km north of Cape Town and 1160km from Johannesburg. The flower capital of South Africa, Springbok comes to life at spring. The hotel is in the heart of the bloom. Springbok Inn offers 87 rooms fully equipped with air-conditioning, fridges, free wifi, hairdryers and amazing views of the mountains. A 90 seater restaurant caters a diverse meal offering. The Hotel has a relaxing pool deck and grass areas.
Unsure of the star rating but wouldn’t give it more than a 3. The staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. The room is basic. Food palatable. They seem to run out of certain foods like chips, Husbands steak was over cooked and tough. Breakfast was ok. Seemed to be a stench from the septic tanks which was pretty awful All in all a very average stay

We stayed three nights and were happy with our room, though it was furnished in a more traditional way than we are used to. Breakfast was always generous with well made omelettes as well as toast and croissants. A useful first time was to have a toaster on our table so we were always able to have hot toast. Petronella was an attentive owner who organised a wonderful trip to see the flowers.

Too many times you drive through a town in South Africa without knowing anything about the town. You see churches, hotels, memorials, etc. But do you really ever know anything about these places except for what little information is scratched into a little plate that forms part of a place with such a rich history. We passed through Springbok and stayed the night at Elkoweru Guest House on our way down to Cape Town and oh my, was this a treat! We had the warmest welcome from the owner, Konrad, whom we just met upon arrival. He is a fellow karateka of my best friend/boyfriend/travel buddy's father. We had the best 14 hours in Springbok. From dinner to a good night's rest to a delicious breakfast to a quick drive through and around Springbok. We have learned so much from Konrad. He is such a pleasant host with the world's knowledge about Springbok, the surrounding area and the history that created this jewel in the Northern Cape. It isn't the Nawakwa-flowers that makes this place special. It obviously contributes, but there is so much more to this little town and Konrad knows it all. If you ever do pass through Springbok, Elkoweru is an absolute treat and most definitely the place to stay!

A lovely, well equipped cottage with three rooms that can be booked individually. The communal lounge, dining room and kitchen is shared between the guests. A good breakfast is included and dinner is available on request. We loved the fact that the cottage is in the farmland between the flowers, rather than in town or one of the crowded guest farms in the area.

Boesmanland Guesthouse can be found in the quaint little town of Springbok in the heart of Namaqauland in the Northern Cape. Situated on the N7 between Cape Town and Nambia. Be sure to visit us during the flower season when the entire country side is covered in a myriad of flowers. We offer you luxury semi-self-catering rooms with air-conditioning, DSTV channels & Kyk Net. All with outside entrances. Braai facilities and secure parking on-site.
Accommodation was very clean and we were received very well the people very friendly. I suggest that guesthouses make use of at least Queen size beds and not double beds anymore. Situated in a very central place in town
