Old World Charm
Reviewed By kamaiinaThis place is absolutely charming. There's authentic antiques and memorabilia everywhere. The place has apparently been in the family for many generations and has a lot of history which can be seen on display. It's very interesting and well preserved and restored. It really takes you back in time to a gentler place. We had a room at the top which was 2 flights of stairs. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom spacious with windows overlooking the garden, which is beautifully landscaped. Downstairs is the breakfast room which had a nice breakfast and adjoining that is a lounge where one can hang out or one can hang out in one of the hammock chairs in the garden. Very nice and peaceful place. We stayed here one night while walking The Camino Del Norte. Would definitely recommend it.

Reviewed By Weec1007Beautiful hotel so friendly, rooms comfortable and very clean, a bit away from santander, you can get the Ferry 20mins away €3, do not get taxi €37. Food beautiful drinks cheap, highly recommended. You can explore somo as they have beautiful restaurants and everyone is so friendly.

Comfortable, clean, feels like a real hotel **** of its own
Reviewed By Navid_H1This hotel is a gem on the corner of Somo. A walking distance to the Somo center, supermarket, shops, and beach. It is extremely clean and comfortable. Staff don't speak English but are very polite and communicate, google translate app is highly encouraged. Room sound isolation is very poor so grab a pair of earplugs or headphones if you don't sleep well at night and be prepared to hear all sorts of things from rooms above and below! I mean EVERYTHING! :) the breakfast is nice but very dry. You get two toasts, a croissant, a not very tasty cupcake, and a super tasty butter cake plus cofee and orange juice. Coffee and orange juice taste awesome by the way. Fruites are also available. You can easily get board of the brrakfast so I encourage the hotel management to add some cheese, bacon or Spanish Salam, and egg to the breakfast. Please please please :) the hotel feels nice, some awesome super jet showers combined with the old style luxury of this hotel which feels way more than 3 stars. You can see beautiful paintings in corridors and rooms. Rooms are cleaned and serviced daily up to Hyatt and Ritz standards!!! :)

Nice beach hotel
Reviewed By 261henriqTorres de Somo enjoys a premium location very close to the beach and 10 minutes wall from the city center. The hotel’s ammeneties are nice with large garden and pool. The breakfast is very good with large choice and the dinner is OK. The downside of the hotel being the room which are a bit old fashioned , with broken AC making heaps of noise... almost not acceptable for this type of hotel. Overall good time there !

Reviewed By Linda SFrom the minute you walk in the door you are made to feel very welcome by all staff. They are so helpful with everything and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is perfectly situated only 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach, various bars and restaurants. The food in the hotel is the absolute best. Seafood so fresh and cooked to perfection. Five minutes walk to a ferry which takes you to Santander which is a beautiful city with lots of fantastic shops and restaurants. The hotel is a credit to Pedro, his family and excellent staff.

Excellent accomodation walking distance from Somo
Reviewed By RitabixWe stayed here for 3 nights in August 2015. Fantastic room but beware if you are not well acquainted with your room mate that both the bath and shower are located in the one space (so its a bed/bath/shower room). The toilet is separate however. High ceilings and lots of space with a view over the courtyard and breakfast room. There is a nice space also for sitting in the evening down stairs and the lady manager kindly put our cava/wine in a little fridge so that we could have a cold pre-dinner drink before leaving each evening. Breakfast was ok. We didn't have any other meals here (not sure if they are available). Very clean premises. A 10-15 minute walk from Somo central. Coming from Somo its up a hill! The centre of Somo is quite commercial, lots of surf schools and no typical Spanish plaza.

Also we can provide tickets for the Park Cabárceno and green fee. The Posada Rio Cubas has obtained the prize of the Government of Cantabria, tourist quality in 2004, for his efforts in the constant improvement with the obtaining of the "Q" of quality. Couples love the location, adjudicandola a score of 8 for trips of two people. The families also give a high rating for its proximity to the Park of the Naturalesza of Cabárceno and beaches. This accommodation also has very high score value for money in tanks. Customers take more advantage to your money compared to other hotels in the same city. We speak your language!
