A lovely choice of hotel
Reviewed By Sara RWe have just returned from a most enjoyable 10 day holiday at Hotel L'Aragosta. Our son and daughter in law joined us for 7 of the days. The hotel is in a quiet, convenient location within a five minute walk of the main street where a full range of restaurants and tourist shops are situated. It is just a few minutes further to the beach. Massimo and Maria, were always on hand to attend to all our requests and all their staff were extremely professional and friendly. The whole hotel was kept spotlessly clean, including the swimming pool. If you want pure luxury this hotel is not for you. But, if like us, you prefer hotels that reflect the natural charm of the area then I would thoroughly recommend Hotel L' Aragosta.

Fine Little Hotel with Great Host
Reviewed By ktaamLa Locanda Del Mare is a little hotel which is located right in the middle of touristy town of La Caletta next to a couple of very busy restaurants and very popular bars. Of course, on weekends you should expect plenty of noise which might last until 3 a.m. at night. The hotel is fine. Our room had a very nice balcony which was used for breakfast and it was a welcoming bonus. The Internet access was kind of disappointing, irregular, and slow. Abundant free public parking is available within several minutes walk from the hotel. There are several “blue” parking spaces right next to the hotel but make sure that you pay as soon as you park – otherwise the chance that the police will fine you is very high. Breakfast is very basic, nothing really special. However, there is a very nice bakery right next to the hotel. And it serves delicious pastries every morning. A very good supermarket is within one-minute walk. Good beaches are everywhere. The nearest one is within 3-4 minutes of easy walk. Excellent Cala Brandinchi and Spiaggia di Lu Impostu to the North and Spiaggia di Bidderosa to the South are in about 25 kilometers of a nice drive along the coast. The host, Antonello, is great. He is extremely friendly, attentive, and always ready to give a good advice. I recommend La Locanda Del Mare for a two-three nights stay.

Children enjoyed a lot, swimming pool and table tennis first. And the seaside nearby is simply gorgeous. Looking forward to staying there again next year.

Unspoiled nature and next to all facilities
Reviewed By Sanaz PBeautiful Sardinia! I'm still impressed by visiting such an unspoiled nature... on the oriental coast of this amazing island, is situated a turistic port called Caletta. The Residence abitare in vacanza (living on vacation) is just next to center of this seaside little town and so very near to all the comforts such as mini markets, pharmacy,restaurants and etc...The residence is really nice, modern ultra clean and the receptionist (I supposed the owner of residence) was really gentile and kind with us and gave us all the helpful information. We have visited all the places suggested by him and all was simply dreamlike, wonderful white beaches with very fine sand which caress your skin and turquoise see...it was all fantastic...all these beauties with affordable prices. I fully suggest this residence , we will back next year.

Delicious lunch

We stopped here thinking they might be closed, but provided us with the most delicious lunch, and we didn't leave hungry at all! We were made to feel very welcome, the staff were very helpful and kind. And we now know who Ken Loach is!!!!! Thankyou!

Overlooked in the tourist port of La Caletta, our Hotel Residence is dipped in a immense park. Apartments and rooms of various size with all the conforts are available. There is a swimmingpool. An internal parking space with the possibility to rent cars and scooters.
Location good, "hotel" not so much
Reviewed By stmc87When we arrived at the hotel we unpacked the car and went to check in. We were then moved down the road to another building so had to pack the car back up. The other building is not solely owned by this hotel and there are other people who own apartments in the block. The key to the room then did not work. It turns out it was very temperamental and had to be put in at a certain angle. We had to pay extra for bed sheets but this seems normal in certain parts of Sardinia so this was fine. You did however have to make the bed yourself. Also, we asked for beach towels but these were not included. The room/apartment itself was fine. It basic but clean. The shower cubical was cramped. You had to empty the bin yourself in the room/apartment and dispose of the bag yourself. You also had to make sure the kitchen was clean or there would be an additional charge. It seems this isn't a "hotel" as such (maybe the other building is). I don't go on holiday to do chores. The location was very good and close to bars, restaurants, the beach and shops. All walkable. La Caletta was a nice place to stay for a few days.

Quiet place for the night

Not far from the beach, this is a good, strategic location to go around and explore the beauties of Sardinia. This place also offers a Pizza Restaurant on the location which is also run by the Hotel owners.
