MIMARU TOKYO GINZA EAST is an apartment-style hotel surrounded by many train stations like Shintomicho Station, Hatchobori Station and Takaracho Station. Guest can enjoy rooms equipped with kitchens and separate baths and toilets. The famous shopping district Ginza and the old fish market Tsukiji is just in walking distance.
Our stay at Mimaru was so great! I stayed in the Pokemon room with some friends to celebrate my birthday, and the staff decorated it for me! I was so surprised to enter the room with tons of balloons and a happy birthday sign! The staff even brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate as well! It was so thoughtful and made my birthday extra special. Of course the Pokemon room was super cute and wonderfully designed. Perfect even for adult Pokemon fans to relax in with friends. It was really spacious and the kitchen was nice too. It was fun to have the birthday cake on their Pokemon design plates. I definitely recommend it, either for a special event or staycation. The big Snorlax was awesome too, very soft and cuddly!!

Overall had a pretty great experience. I can give praise to ‘almost’ everything. Staff were very nice and accomodating. They even had a wonderful buffet breakfast that I happily paid extra for. The rooms are very small but they have everything you need. While the hotel was very convenient to Disney parks (direct line to Maihama station), it is surprisingly inconvenient to Tokyo station. Despite the closest station (Hatchobori) being 1 stop away from Tokyo station, the end-to-end commute usually takes 20+ minutes. This is because the Keiyo line platforms (for this journey) is a very long walk from the main part of Tokyo station. So overall location was average to me.

Good access from Ginza,Tsukiji market and Tokyo Disney Resort.
Got 4 rooms when we stayed here as a family. Accessible from 2 train stations. The bathroom was a bit small, but I understand as real estate in Tokyo is really expensive. The bed made up for the small room. We were very well rested. There were also a lot of hole-in-the-wall restaurants within walking distance that were some of our best meals in Japan. Definitely recommended. :-)

We treated ourselves to stay in Amanek Ginza East on our last night in Japan after 4 weeks. The room was small but smart, and very comfortable. Staff was helpful and the location very good! There's a wonderful ramen place a few blocks away across from the nearest 7-11, and public transport is very well connected.

If you want to be in a convenient location close to Shintomicho Metro Station, and Takaracho Metro Station for access to and from Narita Airport and Haneda Airport, you can't go much wrong with this hotel. The rooms are about as comfortable as they can get for their size. Security is good. The check in process is highly automated and the staff are very helpful if you aren't Japanese. The staff speak limited English but like other places in and around Tokyo adapt their computers to help with translations. The breakfast section which doubles as a tempura for the rest of time comes up with a selection of Western or Japanese breakfasts. I opted for the Japanese breakfast for the duration of my stay as the first morning the poached egg I was served was cold and made me ill after eating it. That being said the Japanese breakfast was absolutely fine. The staff are very helpful and I had no other issues. Would happily stay at this hotel again

Clean rooms, clean toilet, nice trendy design. I like the toilet, although its small, toilet bowl and shower in separate cubicles. Water pressure good. Rooms small, but most Tokyo rooms are small anyway. Staff friendly. Close to convenience shop and 5-min walk to subway. Stayed for 1 night only. Better for Solo, else a little tight for 2 person with 2 opened luggage.
