Reviewed By HmvNLWe stayed at this accommodation for 4 nights and have experienced extremely friendly and professional services of all personnel. The rooms are large, very clean and practical. Breakfast was lovely with a variety of food (both healthy and sweets). The surrounings of the hotel are quiet. One can walk in the hills, ride quads with a guide (te be rented in the village, cheap). Although the hotel does not have many amenities, it is a great place to stay; a bit colonial style. If we ever return to this area, no doubt that we will choose this accommodation again!

Reviewed By 200jeffePretty little secluded hotel in a beautiful spot. Great basic service and walking distance to a few nice little bar restos. It was nice to arrive to such a lush verdant oasis after a few dusty days down in Cafayate and Cachi. Enjoyed drinking a Salta by the pool, some Malbec on my balcony listening to the rushing nearby creek and birdwatching from the restaurant balcony as we enjoyed our breakfast. Great value and highly recommend.

The menu is very limited and it is particularly annoying to spend time making a choice only to be then told that the chosen items are not available. All of the food we did have was very over salted. The service was efficient. There are better and cheaper places in the vicinity.

Great service, great property but very dated

On the one hand it is a great deal for the price we paid (<$100!!), with a spa, pool, breakfast, and really nice & quite (except barking dogs....), on the other hand it is really dated, including the spa and gym. Also, no TV in rooms, no coffee maker. But the beds are reasonable (and spacious), the yard and pool very pleasant and comfortable, and the people very pleasant. So how do you score this? In terms of luxury and convenience, I would give this a 2, in terms of experience a 4. That is how I ended up with 3 (average). The dinner was average, steak not the best we had in Argentina, but the experience (outside dinner) was great.

Very odd attitude to reservation
Reviewed By Sabine0444Contacted the hotel to sort out tax position for foreign residents in relation to their own website, which showed 99usd rooms (also on Agoda). Standard stuff. Except several odd and unhelpful exchanges later, hotel informed me that these rates were a mistake, and I should pay them 120usd. I wonder what would have happened if I'd booked - given their tone, I doubt they would have honoured the booking. I won't find out - going elsewhere.

Pleasant Stay in San Lorenzo
Reviewed By NigelDJohannesburgEl Cerrito is a small 5/6 roomed B and B in pretty San Lorenzo, 15 minutes from downtown Salta. The room we had was large with a good bathroom and the bed and linen were of reasonable quality , overall a good experience. The breakfast was typical of Argentina, bread , jams etc but no fruit and nothing cooked , although one could cook something in the Kitchen if one wanted to. Good if a bit slow Wi Fi, good covered parking and walking distance to restaurants for dinner/lunch if required.

Reviewed By Luciana MI did not like the lodges, if we can put that name on those houses. It needs to be remodeled asap. The bathrooms were not nice. Breakfast was poor. I think the price was not good for the bad services.
