For vacation 8 months ago, I traveled to Salinas with my family and we stayed at the Hotel Colón Salinas, I loved the great view of the sea and the breeze of the wind, I am a big fan of the variety of food that the Hotel offers and the comfort of its rooms, during my stay I could read a book while listening to very relaxed music in the comfort of the balcony where the sunset view was incredible. I can't stand the accumulation of tourists in small places but for the large and comfortable facilities of the Hotel It wasn't the case, watching the whales very close really makes me nervous but nevertheless it was a great experience that thanks to the guides of the Hotel I was able to live good times on the high seas. I'm generally not a fan of suggesting that I visit Hotels, but I definitely recommend that you take the time to visit this place, not only because of the excellent service and prices it offers you, but also because you won't regret visiting it.

Beautiful Refuge in the Middle of Nature

The view in the back is gorgeous and I love the animals. The best place to stay close to the beach and nature. I will definitely come again. Also, the food took a little while but definitely worth it. You can tell that the food is fresh and made with care.

The best Oceanfront Hostel Restaurant & Bar on Salinas Beach , Chescos Hostel Bar has 24 hours front desk , and daily maid service , with a balcony Lounge with a bar where you can meet other travelers open until 4 am! Complete with wifi, TVs, outdoor furniture, kayak, where something Fun is always happening, If we were any closer to the beach, we would be in the ocean!
Not recommend for anyone looking to have a nice, comfortable and place to sleep at night.

NOSY not very clean
Reviewed By doloresf833Very nosy we could hear people talking with the door and windows closed, bathroom always smelled, internet was down more than it worked and very slow no on site parking, Breakfast was not worth the price, this was our second stay at Casablanca and will be our last, I had requested down stairs room we were placed on the 3rd floor and NO elevator this is the slow season in Salinas but was still very loud, awake every morning at 6;30am with people and children talking room was not clean even though they have daily made service.

Reviewed By suschStayed only one night at the Blue Bay Hotel while on a whirlwind tour of the country. We were lucky enough to get an ocean front two bedroom condo. The views were fantastic! The condo was very comfortable, clean and well kept up. Location is good for walking the malecon and finding restaurants, ATMs, etc. Didn't eat dinner at the hotel but breakfast was good.

Amazing pool atrium
Reviewed By Tara H GGreat price $50 for this hotel. We needed a break from the beaches & this was perfect. We spent the day choosing sun or shade around the pool and always found a comfy chair . Our room & bathroom was also nice. Some bar service on site as well. Committed to one night...staying longer.

Reviewed By HopShallenWe left one hotel which didn’t work for us, and ended up here at the Palmira Inn. The staff was very helpful, the room was large, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was OK, not great, but there are some excellent restaurants very close.

Great place to stay on the edge of Salinas
Reviewed By walkjiveflySalinas is quite an expensive place to stay. Big Ralph's hostal is a 10-minute walk from the beach and much more reasonably priced than the beachfront places. The room was simple and small but very clean with a comfortable bed. Good hot shower, good wifi and good air conditioning. Ralph and his wife, Andrea, were welcoming and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in future.

It's very close to the beach, but also off the worst of the traffic. Owners speak multiple languages, and they live on premises. As a single female traveler, I felt very safe.
