I enjoyed my stay at this charming hotel. The room was perfect. The patio door opening to the sound of the rushing water from the river just enhance the overwhelming feeling of relaxation. The staff is so friendly and helpful, they go beyond what you typically encounter. The hot pools and saunas areas is a well kept site. I have nothing but positive comments for this wonderful place. The 2 massage therapists I had during my stay were very good. Two different styles and both satisfying. I am already thinking about my next stay. ??

Nestled on top of the Laurentian Mountains just 45 minutes north of Montréal, Mont Gabriel Resort & Spa is a four-star resort offering 135 guestrooms and a wealth of unique amenities. We have activities to entertain every guest in every season, including swimming in indoor and outdoor pools; hiking; playing beach volleyball, tennis or golf; and skiing, tubing or snowshoeing on our very own Mont Gabriel ski hills. We are also recently certified by Kéroul! The well-appointed accommodations at our Laurentian hotel near Saint-Sauveur are decorated to capture the charming, natural essence of the area, and they feature comforts of home like a flat-screen TV with DVD player, radio alarm clock, mini-refrigerator and free Wi-Fi. In addition to our rustic, yet modern rooms, we offer fine and casual dining at L’Ambroisie and St-Moritz, more than 10 000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space and an on-site, full-service spa. Let us treat you to the finest experience in the Laurentians.
We wanted to try the dinner buffet on a Saturday night. Meat options were fish, pork and braised beef. All of them were cold to my taste and fish was heavely overcooked. No fruits, although salad variety ok (not so fresh though), sink water, maxwell house coffee (or similar). For 35$ per adult you’d eat better at a Chinese buffet. I get it, it’s a buffet on top of a mountain. Still not worth it Drive 9min to Ste Adele and you’ll get something better. Not coming back

Located in the beautiful region of Sainte-Adele, in the Laurentians, Auberge de la Gare is an ancestral home built in 1891 along the Petit Train du Nord railway. At the time, this hotel served the station of Sainte-Marguerite-Station. Today, it serves as a relay for cyclists and cross-country skiers who come to practice their favorite sports throughout the year on the linear park Le P'tit Train du Nord.
We stayed here on our last night of the P'tit Train du Nord, and were happy that it was basically right on the trail (with a sign directing guests to the auberge about 200m away). We were happy with our room and the dinner provided, although were also happy that there was an amazingly stocked grocery store about 1 minute walk down the highway (visible from the auberge) so that we could get supplies for a picnic lunch the next day. If guests didn't want to eat dinner or breakfast here, they could find plenty of self-catering options at this store (which also has a small take-out/fast food component). They were also always very quick at responding to my inquiries before our arrival, which I really appreciated. A few things that could have been better: -The arrival time was a bit inflexible: I called to let them know that we would be a bit later than 5pm, and they didn't seem too pleased. We ended up hurrying past a beautiful stretch of Val David/Val Morin, including the beach and some lovely river stops, to accommodate the Auberge, which didn't seem right as paying guests. While I appreciate that it is a smaller operation with limited staff,, it would have been nice to be able to negotiate a later arrival time. -The breakfast was nice but way too sweet to gear us up properly for our last stint of cycling. More protein and less sugar would have been appreciated. Still a good stop overall, but if we do the P'tit Train again we might try stopping in Val David instead.

Took my grandson (5) for a long weekend mini vacation. Loved every minute. Richard at the front desk was exceptional. Very pleasant and helpful, enjoys his job. 1st room was not updated with a heat problem, Instantly upgraded us at no extra charge, to a large room with 2 queen beds and a fireplace. Couldn't use fireplace because of Pandemic. Not a problem for us. We had a great time in the swim lol. Only downside was the restaurant. Very pricey. But again we didn't care, just went out for dinner the next couple of nights. This Hotel is NOT in front of an Amusement Park, where that review came from, who knows. It is quiet, in the country.

Our family has been frequenting the Alpine Inn for 24 years. We very often bring our daughter with us. We all love it. Beautiful rooms with a fireplace and jacuzzi. It is our little home away from home when we need some downtime. Close to shopping and walking paths The owner is wonderful and so accomodating. His son Mathieu is a wonderful chef. We remember him, when he was a little boy, like our daughter, and his Dad was the chef. The restaurant and the food are exceptional. Everything about the Inn is wonderful. Hoping to get back there real soon.

Smaller rustic ski lodge type motel. I found the room to be on the small side but very clean and well appointed. Good comfy bed and pillows lots of hot water and a decent bathroom. I was just passing thru and it was perfect for my stay and a great price! They have a small continental breakfast with good stuff to get your day started.
