GoldenEye Hotel & Resort overlooks the Caribbean Sea in the quiet village of Oracabessa Bay on Jamaica’s north coast. Named after one of Ian Fleming’s World War II missions, Operation GoldenEye, this Island Outpost property is owned by Chris Blackwell, Jamaica-raised founder of Island Records. The stunning 52-acre property is home to secret coves, breathtaking private beaches, tropical forests and a singular lagoon. There are 49 stand-alone Beach Huts, Lagoon Cottages and Beach and Lagoon Villas, as well as Fleming Villa, designed by Fleming, himself.
Goldeneye is a place you talk about forever. It's magical in so many ways and the staff are so genuine and helpful. You receive an authentic Jamaican vibe with lots to explore and countless activities. We throughly enjoyed the food and drinks. We selected a new place each day to enjoy the beach and water. Loved Goldeneye!

Strawberry Fields Together! Located on the North Coast of Jamaica, forty-five minutes east of Port Maria, is our secluded, authentic, off the beaten path Jamaican experience. Our accommodations range from a romantic, honeymoon beach cottage to a spacious villa that can sleep up to eight people. On our eighteen acres of lush nature with two private white sand beach coves, we offer acres of coastal trails to explore via hiking, ATVs, or boat rides! Come and experience our new cottages, new eco adventure tours, great food, and great company!
If you want to get off of the tourist strip and into real Jamaica stay at Strawberry Fields. It is a beautiful setting and we were very comfortable here. It is rural Jamaica so, there is very little water pressure and the water is not hot but with it being such a warm climates it did not bother us. The food was really good, especially the curried chickpeas. The beach is small but incredibly beautiful. Make sure you communicate very well about your plans if you are doing an excursion. We wanted to leave at 9 o’clock and be back by 4 o’clock and they did not call for a driver for us until that morning so we ended up leaving an hour and a half late. All in all, we really loved our stay here.

We can not say enough great things about green castle. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Beautiful scenery and wonderful people. The hike to kwame falls with our guide Dwayne was something we will never forget. The food was excellent and the whole experience gave us a chance to renew and reset. The flowers and trees and fruits and hummingbirds were just beautiful. Cheryl was such a wonderful host and a true joy. She took such great care of us. This place is a gem and we can’t wait to return. It was such a good chance to step away and remember what’s important. So thankful we got to experience this and hope this place stays the same.

The Casa Maria Hotel gives you an authentic Jamaican experience with beautiful views of the bay, gorgeous sunrises, cool ocean breeze, friendly Jamaican staff, sparkling pool, and excellent Jamaican and International cuisine. Away from the tourist hustle but just 30 minutes from the bustling tourist center of Ocho Rios if you wish to go to town. Enjoy the peace, quiet, and intimacy of rural Jamaica at this wonderful hotel!
Casa Maria Hotel my home away from home. My absolute favorite place to dine is on the oceanfront balony just off the dining room. Rooms are very comfortable. I like how the trade winds blow right in off the Ocean. I always get up extra early just to see the sunrise. Food amazing, pizza...best you'll ever have. Its overall a nice and relaxing hotel. You get to experience the real Jamaica. Lots of new upgrades as well. Looking forward to go back.

We offer our guests at Tamarind a unique environmentally-friendly setting providing luxury accommodation at very affordable prices. Secluded waterfalls, plantation tours, James Bond Beach and Noel Coward's Firefly are only a few of the nearby attractions. Ocho Rios is a 30 minute drive, with its varied activities, such as botanical gardens, the famous Dunn's River Falls, Dolphin Cove as well as Mystic Mountain tree top tours. Of course there are lots of restaurants and duty free shopping, as well as a large local craft market. Tamarind Great House is built on the site of an original planters estate, first built in the 18th century. The house has solid wooden floors from locally sourced trees throughout the downstairs, with antiques and locally made furniture to enhance the feel of colonial Jamaica. Our guests enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Tamarind, with its spacious bedrooms and large balconies. Our 13 acre farm produces fresh organic fruits and vegetables used in our kitchen. The road to Tamarind is a Jamaican country road, and the scenery to the house shows you every side of the real Jamaica. We are an owner run guest house, therefore catering personally to your requests. Away from the main road, a relaxed and safe setting, surrounded by verdant hills, tropical flora and fauna.
A great rebuilt colonial-style house, very big, with big rooms, beautifully located in the middle of a former plantation, with pool, garden, great views etc. It is quite a few kilometres off the coastal road, along a potholed road up the hills. Not signposted until the very last turn shortly before the premises, so be prepared with a good map or a gps (we didn't have that and it took us several interviews with the locals at night to find it). Once there, you will be impressed, though. Nice owners who care for their guests. We were the only ones there since it was end of the low season. If you want to have taste of Jamaica that is different from the mass tourism resorts along the coast, this is definitely a place to consider. Apparently also popular with local folks who want to escape e.g. the huzzbuzz of Kingston over a long week-end and enjoy tranquil hillside scenery, whilst being still close to the coast.

I checked in the Green's Palace on Sunday May 8, 2016. I had the master bedroom with the a/c. The place was clean, spacious and well kept. Miss Beverley gave us a tour and I had a wonderful time. yes I would recommend this place to all my friends. one draw back is they need to update tv to flat screen and put a/c in all rooms other than that a 5 stars for me. My niece arrived from NY on Tuesday and I recommend The Green's Palace and she was impressed. She stayed from Tuesday to Saturday.
