Bed and breakfast and cottage in Loire Valley near Chenonceau and Amboise in an old mill along the Cher river. Wooded ground, heated swimming pool, fishing place and a lot of activities and visits in the heart of the Loire Valley.
A real find in Saint Georges sur Cher. A beautiful building in a huge garden and lake. Our hosts were fantastic including Fannie the dog !. The bedroom was large and comfortable. It is very quiet apart from the many Birds singing. The breakfast is exeptional. Home made jams and yoghurt served in the orangery We look forward to visiting again. Bravo!!

A magnificent old oak in the gardens gives Le Clos de la Chesneraie its name. Idyllic B&B for couples, châteaux-lovers, gardeners In a traditional Tourangeau home on the edge of a small town is a calm, peaceful, elegantly decorated B&B sitting in glorious gardens. In the converted barn are four guest suites, two upstairs with slopey ceilings, and two down, opening to a prettily furnished garden corner. Dahlias nod their heads outside windows, bedroom floors are seagrass and ancient terracotta, bathrooms are immaculate, and muted colours add serenity. Château-hop to your heart's delight – Chenonceau is five minutes away – then polish up for one of Béatrice's fine dinners at the big friendly table.
We were a family of four traveling in france for 14 days. This was the first spot we stayed at. The host was very thoughtful and welcoming--she helped make dinner reservations and gave us great recommendations for tasting and tours in the area. Overall the rooms were very spacious and clean--I'm sure in the spring and summer the garden is beautiful! The BnB is walking distance to a bar, a pizza spot, a grocery store, bread shop, meat shop, and a very nice restaurant. Also, the breakfast was delicious--local cheeses, fruit, yogurt, fresh breads, crepes, french toast, and fresh coffee (this might change depending on the season). Over all we would stay again, and we would definitely recommend this bnb! Thanks you!!

We stayed here for one night at the end of our holiday to break up a long journey back to Paris CDG. We are so glad we did as it was so beautiful and had a really authentic French feel. The owner was very friendly and we were made very welcome. Our suite was amazing and just perfect for the five of us; our kids had their own room separate to ours which was great as we had lots of space and the beds were comfortable. Pool was an added bonus and the views and garden areas are lovely. Breakfast was good. Highly recommended -we wish we could have stayed longer!!

we just spent a few days here. it is really fun for Americans to stay in a French castle. the rooms were huge, location very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast very french. The owner passed away recently and the family is selling the property so who knows what happens next. During our stay the proprietor had to leave town for a few days. there were 6 of us in our group and we were the only people on the property...it was very fun. we got great suggestions of local things to do from the proprietor which enhanced our trip greatly. wifi was dismal. either pay to use data from your carrier or take yourself offline for a few days....
