Lots of Walking, No Breakfast

I was not very impressed by the fact that we had 4 adults staying in our room and yet we only got $8.00 to use in the restaurant for breakfast. There was not even a continental breakfast available. Not very good value for the amount of the rooms in my opinion. Also, the front desk clerk was not very clear about directions to our room so we ended up parking a very long ways from where our room was. In fact there was no elevator that was very close to where our room was at all. Lots of walking. So, for anyone who cannot walk, it would be a good idea to ask for a room near an elevator or an exit.

Reviewed By Mike2718I’m a Diamond so I have enough Hilton stays to have experienced many properties. The Hampton brand is typically very consistent and very acceptable. This location is not good. Very worn, tired, noisy. The noisiest I’ve stayed at in years. Not loud party noisy just thin walls, loud floors. Finishes need updating.

Reviewed By Tip TThe suites were good size and we could close the door to the bedroom. But unbeknownst to us, there is a known issue with the TVs... they don't work. They said they are in the midst of replacing them. They do have an indoor pool and a basketball court and free breakfast. But I won't be staying here again until they get their TVs working! Will be requesting some type of remuneration.

Amazing and affordable
Reviewed By Kimberly444Stayed here for 5 nights as my home base while visiting family. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and did not feel dated (which I greatly appreciate). The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The location is also stellar, many options to dine, walk, shop. Definitely my go to for my next trip to St. Cloud.

Booked a room February 26th and once we got settled in the room, within an hour we found marijuana in the drawer next to the bed and two pipes (assuming for meth or crack?) underneath the mattress. My 3 children were with and it was such a pain to have to pack everything and everyone back up when they were excited to get in the pool. Front desk was not helpful. Took her forever to try and refund me as we were leaving. She never once apologized for what we found in our room and when she called someone, she just said “this guest is unhappy with her room and wants a refund.” She left out the fact that I was unhappy because I found DRUGS in my room. She couldn’t help me so had to get the General Manager involved. GM Tammy was able to refund the room. I would never recommend this place to ANYONE and don’t wish this on any family. Unbelievable that housekeeping staff did not see this. It is clear the room was not cleaned. Do not stay here.

Reviewed By 605NikkiOur room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was better than expected. I would recommend if you are not looking for fancy. The room is small and outdated but this did not bother us. Internet worked well, and the location was convenient.

The breakfast area was well maintained and the breakfast buffet provided offered so many choices,,,,just to name a few of the items; cheese omelettes, vegetable egg white omelettes, turkey sausage patties, pork sausage links, biscuits w/sausage gravy, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, hot oatmeal fresh fruit, juices and the list goes on. You really couldn't ask for more. The front desk staff were most accommodating. Everyone I had contact with was well trained, truely an asset to the property. Lastly, the property was clean. Really appreciated!
