Located in the heart of one of Quebec's most beautiful villages, the Auberge has much to offer. Twenty-two rooms, a dining room with a picturesque décor and a deliciously stellar menu, salons and bowers that recall the charms of a lost era, an inviting wine bar merrily nicknamed 'La Buvette', a water garden and flower gardens complete with an outdoor spa, overlooking the lovely Bic Harbour. Each one of our rooms has been designed and thoughtfully decorated so as to transport you in a dream world of charms, simplicity and pure bliss. The Auberge is a must for any traveler passing by, an exceptional place that will put you under a spell and beguile you with its intimacy, its warm welcoming way of greeting anyone who comes in, its good-natured ambiance and its reinvented yet natural theatrical environment.
Victorian/Gothic style. Every space is filled with all sorts of furnishings and bric-a-brac. Not to everyone’s taste but we rather liked it. It made the spaces feel very cosy. We had booked an evening meal in the up-market restaurant that is part of the Auberge and we were somewhat disappointed. The duck breast (for 2) that we had ordered was tough, though the confit was fine. Breakfast the next morning in the same restaurant was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Arrived in Rimouski in the middle of the night on the train from Montreal. No taxi. Taxi company said they only had one taxi and it was out and it would be 20 minutes. 25 minutes passed and still no taxi and it's approaching 3 in the morning. We called again. No further information. "He's at the bowling alley now." I called the hotel and explained the situation to a gentleman. He said, wait one minute please and then came back on the line to say his assistant would be there right away. A few minutes later a lovely man arrived in a fabulous orange mustang arrived and drove us to the hotel while Johnny Mathis serenaded us on his stereo. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We couldn't have asked for more and what you did meant so much. (I've left out the part about the poor, blood soaked inebriated gentleman who was trying to get polysporin from us as we waited for the taxi to come.) You put the "H" in hospitality and went above and beyond for your travelers. With regards to the hotel, we had a river view room which was fabulous, the beds are super comfortable, the suite was spacious and every amenity was there including chamomile tea, a small fridge and microwave. If I could give you 6 stars I would. :) Thank you again.

The Saint-Germain is a contemporary style, comfort, cozy, sophisticated atmosphere and personalized exclusive service.
The external building looks like a construction zone (they are under-going renovations) but the rooms are well appointed and are very spacious. Our room had a full kitchen. Definitely a hotel you could spend more than one night. The River is across the street and many rooms have a river view. Great location.

Everything great except the size of the room, too small for two queen beds. The beds very comfortable though. VERY clean (my number 1 criteria), mini-fridge with freezer big enough to store some ice cream, Keurig coffee machine. Recently renovated bathroom, with a bathtub that inspires you to take a bath. Walmart and Tim Hortons at walking distance.

At first glance, from a distance, Motel Bic looks like another strip motels that appear along secondary highways across the continent. But as they say, first impressions can be deceiving, and upon arrival, it quickly becomes clear that this is no ordinary motel. The property is pristine, right down to the white-painted brick and Our room was really a one-bedroom suite with a fridge, microwave, double burner range and a full set of dishes and light cooking utensils. The walls are made of a beautiful white wood, whose fragrance permeates the rooms. The bathroom is modern. The shower water pressure is a bit meek, though. The queen bed was very comfortable and there is plenty of room to relax, dine on the expanding table, or work at the desk in the bedroom. The takeout continental breakfast consisted of yogurt, croissant, Dad’s cookie, coffee or tea and orange juice. The hosts were very pleasant. We were satisfied in every way.

Newly renovated, renowned for its comfort, clean rooms and affordable prices, the Motel Colonial is without doubt the ultimate accommodation in Rimouski.
Didn't realize that there was a Super 8 around the corner. Stayed at Colonial because of a funeral in Blenheim. In my son and daughter's room, the AC didn't work and the toilet didn't flush. The owner gave me a hard time when I brought this to his attention. He became aggressive and hostile with me after he shouted at the women working for him and tried to blame them. He is one peach of a human being. There are many hotels on this strip.

The room was quite large with a separate living room to the bedroom which was nice. Very quiet despite being close to a busy road. Not quite downtown and you will have to drive there if you want to go.
