The room was small-ish and not so clean(ashtray dirty, table dusty, gum left over, shower with shampoo residue),you don’t expect this when you pay a not so insignificant amount per night. The view was nice.

We arrived there late at night. There were some big black bugs, one in our room when they opened the door. Poor quality food. Dirt in the restaurant and in the rooms. Good points: great view on the ski slope.

Lovely friendly hotel. Beautiful view from balcony after travelling transalpina. No food available, but restaurants are dotted about nearby. Owner is very obliging and brought us coffee to our rooms after arriving very cold and wet. A few broken tiles on balcony sitting area but room was clean and bright and shower gave us ample hot water. Best value hotel for the price we paid. It would have been nice to have a bar on sight but shop two mins away sells really good cheap Romanian wine and you can drink that on the lovely seating area, looking at spectacular scenery.

I don't have enough words to describe my stay at Vila Panda. Very cosy, clean with an unbelievable mountain view. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel like home, very helpful and ready to give you any information you need about the hiking trails. Amazing experience, I am sorry I didn't stay longer.

The hotel is in a good location. Uncomfortable beds and bad pillows for a good sleep. We were lucky that we stayed just one night. The price for the dinner was too expensive. Good breakfast. The staff was very attentive.

Stood there for 2 nights. The rooms are very clean and everything is new. The restaurant has fresh food and traditional food for everyone. The prices are low. The view is nice. You have a ski slope nearby that is good for people who try if the 1st time.

It was the first time in my life when i felt not welcome! We had a late check-in due to car problems on the way, and the first thing the owner had to say was that our child is too big and we would ruin their mattresses... I inserted the age of my child when making the reservation, so they have an unsolved issue which should not affect the tourists. Also they insisted a lot that we should not smoke inside (?!? we would never) although the reception area was smelling really bad of smoke. They asked us to wash our glasses after we had a drink and made comments about us staying up until 12PM. Maybe they would have been nice to us if we came without our child, at noon, and stay up until 9PM. The villa and location are very nice, but the people are awful, we will never return!

We stayed for 2 nights in Casa Ancuta and it was awesome. We arrived late in the evening but the hosts welcomed us very promptly. Because we arrive late we were hungry and they even served us a very nice dinner, even if the restaurant was not opened. We were welcomed in the villa and were pleasently impressed by the rule that some other people in the comments did not like. We appreciate that the guests must take their shoes off upon entering the villa, and we were given single use slippers for walking around. Very proffessional and clean. The villa is big enough and very clean. It has a beautiful lobby and each floor has several rooms. We stayed on the top. Floor and we had two connecting rooms shared bathroom. Since we were a family the kids stayed in one room and we stayed in the other. The fact that we shared the bathroom was not a problem for us, being a family. The view in one of the rooms was facing the main street, while in the other had a beautiful mountain view, on the opposite side. There is a wonderful garden with a swinging bench, very suitable for adults, but quite dangerous for children, since it is situated on top of a hill. A nice canopy with tables and benches where you can have a dinner next to the fireplace is also available in the garden. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the mountains and the hosts always played the best music. Very good quality smooth jazz that made us instantly relaxed and filled with good energy. Even if the restaurant was not opened, and we didn't have meals included, the hosts cooked for us every meal and we had the most wonderful good quality eco cheese, tomatoes or cucumbers. On top of everything we were lucky to have great weather and we enjoyed every moment! Thank you Casa Ancutei! We will definetly come back for more wonderful times!
